দাযূদের বাড়িতে শৌল লোক পাঠালেন| তারা সারারাত দাযূদের বাড়ির কাছাকাছি পাহারা দিল| তারা সকালে দায়ূদকে হত্যা করবে বলে অপেক্ষা করছিল| কিন্তু দাযূদের স্ত্রী মীখল দায়ূদকে সাবধান করে দিয়েছিল| সে বলল, “আজ রাত্রেই তুমি পালিয়ে গিয়ে নিজেকে বাঁচাও না হলে ওরা কালই তোমাকে মেরে ফেলবে|”

Saul also sent messengers unto David’s house, to watch him, and to slay him in the morning: and Michal David’s wife told him, saying, If thou save not thy life to night, to morrow thou shalt be slain.
