ಆದರೆ ಇನ್ನೊಬ್ಬ ಸ್ತ್ರೀಯು, “ಇಲ್ಲ! ಜೀವಂತವಾಗಿರುವ ಮಗು ನನ್ನದು. ಸತ್ತಿರುವ ಮಗು ನಿನ್ನದು!” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದಳು. ಆದರೆ ಮೊದಲನೆಯ ಸ್ತ್ರೀಯು, “ಇಲ್ಲ! ನೀನು ಸುಳ್ಳು ಹೇಳುತ್ತಿರುವೆ! ಸತ್ತಿರುವ ಮಗು ನಿನ್ನದು. ಜೀವಂತವಾಗಿರುವ ಮಗು ನನ್ನದು!” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದಳು. ಹೀಗೆ ಆ ಇಬ್ಬರು ಸ್ತ್ರೀಯರು ರಾಜನ ಎದುರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ವಾದಿಸಿದರು.
