ତେଣୁ ସମାନେେ ବୃଷଭଟିକୁ ନେଲେ ଓ ପ୍ରସ୍ତୁତ କଲେ। ସମାନେେ ପ୍ରାତଃକାଳରୁ ମଧ୍ଯାହ୍ନ ପର୍ୟ୍ଯନ୍ତ ବାଲ ନାମ ରେ ପ୍ରାର୍ଥନା କରି କହିଲେ, " ହେ ବାଲ୍ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ବିନତି ଶୁଣ।" ମାତ୍ର କୌଣସି ଶଦ୍ଦ ହେଲାନାହିଁ କି କହେି ଉତ୍ତର ଦେଲେ ନାହିଁ। ସମସ୍ତ ଭବିଷ୍ଯଦ୍ବକ୍ତାଗଣ ସମାନଙ୍କେ ନିର୍ମିତ ୟଜ୍ଞବଦେୀର ଗ୍ଭରିପଟେ ନାଚିଲେ। ମାତ୍ର ଅଗ୍ନି ସଂଘଟିତ ହେଲା ନାହିଁ।

तेव्हा त्या संदेष्ट्यांनी एक गोऱ्हा घेतला आणि ते तयारीला लागले. दुपारपर्यंत त्यांनी बालची प्रार्थना केली. “बाल आमच्या हाकेला ओ दे” अशी त्यांनी विनवणी केली. पण कसलाही आवाज आला नाही किंवा उत्तर दिले नाही. आपण रचलेल्या वेदीभोवती ते संदेष्टे नाचले तरी अग्नी काही प्रज्वलित झाला नाही.
