TOV : ஞானம் தன் வீட்டைக் கட்டி, தன் ஏழு தூண்களையும் சித்திரந்தீர்த்து,
KJV : Wisdom hath builded her house, she hath hewn out her seven pillars:
YLT : Wisdom hath builded her house, She hath hewn out her pillars -- seven.

TOV : தன் கொழுத்த ஜந்துக்களை அடித்து, திராட்சரசத்தை வார்த்துவைத்து, தன் போஜனபந்தியை ஆயத்தப்படுத்தி,
KJV : She hath killed her beasts; she hath mingled her wine; she hath also furnished her table.
YLT : She hath slaughtered her slaughter, She hath mingled her wine, Yea, she hath arranged her table.

TOV : தன் பணிவிடைக்காரிகளை அனுப்பி, பட்டணத்தின் உயர்ந்த மேடைகளின்மேல் நின்று கூப்பிட்டு,
KJV : She hath sent forth her maidens: she crieth upon the highest places of the city,
YLT : She hath sent forth her damsels, She crieth on the tops of the high places of the city:

TOV : புத்தியீனனை நோக்கி: எவன் பேதையோ அவன் இவ்விடத்தில் வரக்கடவன்.
KJV : Whoso [is] simple, let him turn in hither: [as for] him that wanteth understanding, she saith to him,
YLT : `Who [is] simple? let him turn aside hither.` Whoso lacketh heart: she hath said to him,
RV : Whoso is simple, let him turn in hither: as for him that is void of understanding, she saith to him,
RSV : "Whoever is simple, let him turn in here!" To him who is without sense she says,

TOV : நீங்கள் வந்து என் அப்பத்தைப் புசித்து, நான் வார்த்த திராட்சரசத்தைப் பானம்பண்ணுங்கள்.
KJV : Come, eat of my bread, and drink of the wine [which] I have mingled.
YLT : `Come, eat of my bread, And drink of the wine I have mingled.

TOV : பேதமையை விட்டு விலகுங்கள், அப்பொழுது பிழைத்திருப்பீர்கள்; புத்தியின் வழியிலே நடவுங்கள் என்று விளம்புகிறது.
KJV : Forsake the foolish, and live; and go in the way of understanding.
YLT : Forsake ye, the simple, and live, And be happy in the way of understanding.
RV : Leave off, ye simple ones, and live; and walk in the way of understanding.
RSV : Leave simpleness, and live, and walk in the way of insight."

TOV : பரியாசக்காரனைக் கண்டிக்கிறவன் இலச்சையடைகிறான்; துன்மார்க்கனைக் கண்டிக்கிறவன் தன்னைக் கறைப்படுத்திக்கொள்ளுகிறான்.
KJV : He that reproveth a scorner getteth to himself shame: and he that rebuketh a wicked [man getteth] himself a blot.
YLT : The instructor of a scorner Is receiving for it -- shame, And a reprover of the wicked -- his blemish.
RV : He that correcteth a scorner getteth to himself shame: and he that reproveth a wicked man {cf15i getteth} himself a blot.
RSV : He who corrects a scoffer gets himself abuse, and he who reproves a wicked man incurs injury.
ASV : He that correcteth a scoffer getteth to himself reviling; And he that reproveth a wicked man getteth himself a blot.
ESV : Whoever corrects a scoffer gets himself abuse, and he who reproves a wicked man incurs injury.
ERVEN : Criticize a person who is rude and shows no respect, and you will only get insults. Correct the wicked, and you will only get hurt.

TOV : பரியாசக்காரனைக் கடிந்துகொள்ளாதே, அவன் உன்னைப் பகைப்பான்; ஞானமுள்ளவனைக் கடிந்துகொள், அவன் உன்னை நேசிப்பான்.
KJV : Reprove not a scorner, lest he hate thee: rebuke a wise man, and he will love thee.

KJV : Give [instruction] to a wise [man,] and he will be yet wiser: teach a just [man,] and he will increase in learning.

TOV : கர்த்தருக்குப் பயப்படுதலே ஞானத்தின் ஆரம்பம்; பரிசுத்தரின் அறிவே அறிவு.
KJV : The fear of the LORD [is] the beginning of wisdom: and the knowledge of the holy [is] understanding.
YLT : The commencement of wisdom [is] the fear of Jehovah, And a knowledge of the Holy Ones [is] understanding.
RV : The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom: and the knowledge of the Holy One is understanding.

KJV : If thou be wise, thou shalt be wise for thyself: but [if] thou scornest, thou alone shalt bear [it.]
