BNV : ‘স্বর্গরাজ্য কেমন হবে, তা দশ জন কনের সঙ্গে তুলনা করা চলে, যাঁরা তাদের প্রদীপ নিয়ে বরের সঙ্গে সাক্ষাত্ করতে বার হল৷
KJV : {SCJ}Then shall the kingdom of heaven be likened unto ten virgins, which took their lamps, and went forth to meet the bridegroom. {SCJ.}
YLT : `Then shall the reign of the heavens be likened to ten virgins, who, having taken their lamps, went forth to meet the bridegroom;
RV : Then shall the kingdom of heaven be likened unto ten virgins, which took their lamps, and went forth to meet the bridegroom.
RSV : "Then the kingdom of heaven shall be compared to ten maidens who took their lamps and went to meet the bridegroom.

BNV : তাদের মধ্যে পাঁচজন ছিল নির্বোধ আর অন্য পাঁচজন ছিল বুদ্ধিমতী৷
KJV : {SCJ}And five of them were wise, and five [were] foolish. {SCJ.}
YLT : and five of them were prudent, and five foolish;

BNV : সেই নির্বোধ কনেরা তাদের বাতি নিল বটে কিন্তু সঙ্গে তেল নিল না৷
KJV : {SCJ}They that [were] foolish took their lamps, and took no oil with them: {SCJ.}
YLT : they who were foolish having taken their lamps, did not take with themselves oil;
RV : For the foolish, when they took their lamps, took no oil with them:

BNV : অপরদিকে বুদ্ধিমতী কনেরা তাদের প্রদীপের সঙ্গে পাত্রে তেলও নিল৷
KJV : {SCJ}But the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps. {SCJ.}
YLT : and the prudent took oil in their vessels, with their lamps.

BNV : বর আসতে দেরী হওযাতে তারা সকলেই তন্দ্রায় আচ্ছন্ন হয়ে পড়ল৷
KJV : {SCJ}While the bridegroom tarried, they all slumbered and slept. {SCJ.}
YLT : `And the bridegroom tarrying, they all nodded and were sleeping,
RV : Now while the bridegroom tarried, they all slumbered and slept.
RSV : As the bridegroom was delayed, they all slumbered and slept.

BNV : কিন্তু মাঝরাতে চিত্‌কার শোনা গেল, ‘দেখ, বর আসছে! তাকে বরণ করতে এগিয়ে যাও৷’
KJV : {SCJ}And at midnight there was a cry made, Behold, the bridegroom cometh; go ye out to meet him. {SCJ.}
YLT : and in the middle of the night a cry was made, Lo, the bridegroom doth come; go ye forth to meet him.
RV : But at midnight there is a cry, Behold, the bridegroom! Come ye forth to meet him.
RSV : But at midnight there was a cry, `Behold, the bridegroom! Come out to meet him.'

ERVEN : "At midnight someone announced, 'The bridegroom is coming! Come and meet him!'

BNV : ‘সেই কনেরা তখন উঠে তাদের প্রদীপ ঠিক করল৷
KJV : {SCJ}Then all those virgins arose, and trimmed their lamps. {SCJ.}
YLT : `Then rose all those virgins, and trimmed their lamps,
RV : Then all those virgins arose, and trimmed their lamps.

BNV : কিন্তু নির্বোধ কনেরা বুদ্ধিমতী কনেদের বলল, ‘তোমাদের তেল থেকে আমাদের কিছু তেল দাও, কারণ আমাদের প্রদীপ নিভে যাচ্ছে৷’
KJV : {SCJ}And the foolish said unto the wise, Give us of your oil; for our lamps are gone out. {SCJ.}
YLT : and the foolish said to the prudent, Give us of your oil, because our lamps are going out;
RV : And the foolish said unto the wise, Give us of your oil; for our lamps are going out.
RSV : And the foolish said to the wise, `Give us some of your oil, for our lamps are going out.'

ERVEN : But the foolish girls said to the wise girls, 'Give us some of your oil. The oil in our lamps is all gone.'

BNV : ‘এর উত্তরে সেই বুদ্ধিমতী কনেরা বলল, ‘না৷ তেল যা আছে তাতে হয়তো আমাদের ও তোমাদের কুলোবে না, তোমরা বরং যাঁরা তেল বিক্রি করে তাদের কাছে গিয়ে নিজেদের জন্য তেল কিনে আনো৷’
KJV : {SCJ}But the wise answered, saying, [Not so;] lest there be not enough for us and you: but go ye rather to them that sell, and buy for yourselves. {SCJ.}
YLT : and the prudent answered, saying -- Lest there may not be sufficient for us and you, go ye rather unto those selling, and buy for yourselves.
RV : But the wise answered, saying, Peradventure there will not be enough for us and you: go ye rather to them that sell, and buy for yourselves.
RSV : But the wise replied, `Perhaps there will not be enough for us and for you; go rather to the dealers and buy for yourselves.'
ASV : But the wise answered, saying, Peradventure there will not be enough for us and you: go ye rather to them that sell, and buy for yourselves.
ESV : But the wise answered, saying, 'Since there will not be enough for us and for you, go rather to the dealers and buy for yourselves.'
ERVEN : "The wise girls answered, 'No! The oil we have might not be enough for all of us. But go to those who sell oil and buy some for yourselves.'

BNV : ‘তারা যখন তেল কেনার জন্য বাইরে যাচ্ছে, এমন সময় বর এসে উপস্থিত হল, তখন য়ে কনেরা প্রস্তুত ছিল তারা বরের সঙ্গে বিয়ে বাড়িতে প্রবেশ করল৷ তারপর দরজা বন্ধ করে দেওযা হল৷
KJV : {SCJ}And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came; and they that were ready went in with him to the marriage: and the door was shut. {SCJ.}
YLT : `And while they are going away to buy, the bridegroom came, and those ready went in with him to the marriage-feasts, and the door was shut;
RV : And while they went away to buy, the bridegroom came; and they that were ready went in with him to the marriage feast: and the door was shut.

ERVEN : "So the foolish girls went to buy oil. While they were gone, the bridegroom came. The girls who were ready went in with the bridegroom to the wedding feast. Then the door was closed and locked.

BNV : ‘শেষে অন্য কনেরা এসে বলল, ‘শুনছেন, আমাদের জন্য দরজা খুলে দিন৷’
KJV : {SCJ}Afterward came also the other virgins, saying, Lord, Lord, open to us. {SCJ.}
YLT : and afterwards come also do the rest of the virgins, saying, Sir, sir, open to us;
RV : Afterward come also the other virgins, saying, Lord, Lord, open to us.
RSV : Afterward the other maidens came also, saying, `Lord, lord, open to us.'

BNV : ‘কিন্তু এর উত্তরে বর বলল, ‘সত্যি বলছি, আমি তোমাদের চিনি না৷’
KJV : {SCJ}But he answered and said, Verily I say unto you, I know you not. {SCJ.}
YLT : and he answering said, Verily I say to you, I have not known you.
RV : But he answered and said, Verily I say unto you, I know you not.
RSV : But he replied, `Truly, I say to you, I do not know you.'
ASV : But he answered and said, Verily I say unto you, I know you not.
ESV : But he answered, 'Truly, I say to you, I do not know you.'
ERVEN : "But the bridegroom answered, 'Certainly not! I don't even know you.'

BNV : ‘তাইতোমরা সজাগ থেকো, কারণ তোমরা সেই দিন বা মুহূর্ত্তের কথা জান না, কখন মানবপুত্র ফিরে আসবেন৷
KJV : {SCJ}Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh. {SCJ.}
YLT : `Watch therefore, for ye have not known the day nor the hour in which the Son of Man doth come.
RV : Watch therefore, for ye know not the day nor the hour.
RSV : Watch therefore, for you know neither the day nor the hour.

ERVEN : "So always be ready. You don't know the day or the time when the Son of Man will come.

BNV : ‘স্বর্গরাজ্য এমন একজন লোকের মতো, যিনি বিদেশে যাবার আগে চাকরদের ডেকে সম্পত্তির ভার তাদের হাতে দিয়ে গেলেন৷
KJV : {SCJ}For [the kingdom of heaven is] as a man travelling into a far country, [who] called his own servants, and delivered unto them his goods. {SCJ.}
YLT : `For -- as a man going abroad did call his own servants, and did deliver to them his substance,
RV : For {cf15i it is} as {cf15i when} a man, going into another country, called his own servants, and delivered unto them his goods.
RSV : "For it will be as when a man going on a journey called his servants and entrusted to them his property;

BNV : তিনি একজনকে পাঁচ থলি মোহর, আর একজনকে দু থলি মোহর এবং আর একজনকে এক থলি মোহর দিলেন৷ যার য়েমন ক্ষমতা সেই অনুসারে দিয়ে তিনি বিদেশে চলে গেলেন৷
KJV : {SCJ}And unto one he gave five talents, to another two, and to another one; to every man according to his several ability; and straightway took his journey. {SCJ.}
YLT : and to one he gave five talents, and to another two, and to another one, to each according to his several ability, went abroad immediately.

ERVEN : He decided how much each servant would be able to care for. The man gave one servant five bags of money. He gave another servant two bags. And he gave a third servant one bag. Then he left.

BNV : য়ে পাঁচ থলি মোহর পেয়েছিল, সে সঙ্গে সঙ্গে সেই টাকা খাটাতে শুরু করল, আর তাই দিয়ে আরো পাঁচ থলি মোহর লাভ করল৷
KJV : {SCJ}Then he that had received the five talents went and traded with the same, and made [them] other five talents. {SCJ.}
YLT : `And he who did receive the five talents, having gone, wrought with them, and made other five talents;
RV : Straightway he that received the five talents went and traded with them, and made other five talents.

BNV : য়ে লোক দু’থলি মোহর পেয়েছিল সেও সেই টাকা খাটিয়ে আরো দু’থলি মোহর রোজগার করল৷
KJV : {SCJ}And likewise he that [had received] two, he also gained other two. {SCJ.}
YLT : in like manner also he who [received] the two, he gained, also he, other two;
RV : In like manner he also that {cf15i received} the two gained other two.
RSV : So also, he who had the two talents made two talents more.

ERVEN : It was the same with the servant who had two bags. That servant invested the money and earned two more.

BNV : কিন্তু য়ে এক থলি মোহর পেয়েছিল, সে গিয়ে মাটিতে গর্ত খুঁড়ে তার মনিবের টাকা সেই গর্তে পুঁতে রাখল৷
KJV : {SCJ}But he that had received one went and digged in the earth, and hid his lord’s money. {SCJ.}
YLT : and he who did receive the one, having gone away, digged in the earth, and hid his lord`s money.

BNV : ‘অনেক দিন পর সেইচাকরদের মনিব ফিরে এসে তাদের কাছে হিসাব চাইলেন৷
KJV : {SCJ}After a long time the lord of those servants cometh, and reckoneth with them. {SCJ.}
YLT : `And after a long time cometh the lord of those servants, and taketh reckoning with them;
RV : Now after a long time the lord of those servants cometh, and maketh a reckoning with them.
RSV : Now after a long time the master of those servants came and settled accounts with them.

BNV : য়ে পাঁচ থলি মোহর পেয়েছিল, সে আরো পাঁচ থলি মোহর এনে বলল, ‘হুজুর, আপনি আমাকে পাঁচ থলি মোহর দিয়েছিলেন, দেখুন আমি তাই দিয়ে আরো পাঁচ থলি মোহর রোজগার করেছি৷’
KJV : {SCJ}And so he that had received five talents came and brought other five talents, saying, Lord, thou deliveredst unto me five talents: behold, I have gained beside them five talents more. {SCJ.}

ERVEN : The servant who got five bags brought that amount and five more bags of money to the master. The servant said, 'Master, you trusted me to care for five bags of money. So I used them to earn five more.'

BNV : ‘তার মনিব তখন তাকে বললেন, ‘বেশ, তুমি উত্তম ও বিশ্বস্ত দাস৷ তুমি এই সামান্য বিষয়ে বিশ্বস্ত থাকাতে আমি তোমার হাতে অনেক বিষয়ের ভার দেব৷ এস, তোমার মনিবের আনন্দের সহভাগী হও৷
KJV : {SCJ}His lord said unto him, Well done, [thou] good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord. {SCJ.}
YLT : `And his lord said to him, Well done, servant, good and faithful, over a few things thou wast faithful, over many things I will set thee; enter into the joy of thy lord.
RV : His lord said unto him, Well done, good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will set thee over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord.

ERVEN : "The master answered, 'You did right. You are a good servant who can be trusted. You did well with that small amount of money. So I will let you care for much greater things. Come and share my happiness with me.'

BNV : ‘এরপর য়ে দু থলি মোহর পেয়েছিল, সেও তার মনিবের কাছে এসে বলল, ‘হুজুর, আপনি আমায় দু থলি মোহর দিয়েছিলেন, দেখুন আমি তাই দিয়ে আরো দু থলি মোহর রোজগার করেছি৷’

BNV : ‘তার মনিব তাকে বললেন, ‘বেশ! তুমি উত্তম ও বিশ্বস্ত দাস৷ তুমি সামান্য বিষয়ের উপর বিশ্বস্ত হলে, তাই আমি আরো অনেক কিছুর ভার তোমার ওপর দেব৷ এস, তুমি তোমার মনিবের আনন্দের সহভাগী হও৷
KJV : {SCJ}His lord said unto him, Well done, good and faithful servant; thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord. {SCJ.}

BNV : ‘এরপর য়ে লোক এক থলি মোহর পেয়েছিল সে তার মনিবের কাছে এসে বলল, ‘হুজুর আমি জানি আপনি বড় কড়া লোক৷ আপনি য়েখানে বীজ বোনেন নি সেখানে কাটেন; আর য়েখানে কোন বীজ ছড়ান নি সেখান থেকে শস্য সংগ্রহ করেন:
KJV : {SCJ}Then he which had received the one talent came and said, Lord, I knew thee that thou art an hard man, reaping where thou hast not sown, and gathering where thou hast not strawed: {SCJ.}
YLT : `And he also who hath received the one talent having come, said, Sir, I knew thee, that thou art a hard man, reaping where thou didst not sow, and gathering from whence thou didst not scatter;
RV : And he also that had received the one talent came and said, Lord, I knew thee that thou art a hard man, reaping where thou didst not sow, and gathering where thou didst not scatter:

ESV : He also who had received the one talent came forward, saying, 'Master, I knew you to be a hard man, reaping where you did not sow, and gathering where you scattered no seed,
ERVEN : "Then the servant who got one bag of money came to the master. The servant said, 'Master, I knew you were a very hard man. You harvest what you did not plant. You gather crops where you did not put any seed.

BNV : তাই আমি ভয়ে আপনার দেওযা মোহরের থলি মাটিতে পুঁতে লুকিয়ে রেখেছিলাম৷ আপনার যা ছিল তা নিন৷’
KJV : {SCJ}And I was afraid, and went and hid thy talent in the earth: lo, [there] thou hast [that is] thine. {SCJ.}
YLT : and having been afraid, having gone away, I hid thy talent in the earth; lo, thou hast thine own!

BNV : ‘এর উত্তরে তার মনিব তাকে বললেন, ‘তুমি দুষ্ট ও অলস দাস! তুমি তো জানতে আমি য়েখানে বুনি না সেখানেই কাটি; আর তুমি এও জান য়েখানে আমি বীজ ছড়াইনা সেখান থেকেই সংগ্রহ করি৷
KJV : {SCJ}His lord answered and said unto him, [Thou] wicked and slothful servant, thou knewest that I reap where I sowed not, and gather where I have not strawed: {SCJ.}
YLT : `And his lord answering said to him, Evil servant, and slothful, thou hadst known that I reap where I did not sow, and I gather whence I did not scatter!
RV : But his lord answered and said unto him, Thou wicked and slothful servant, thou knewest that I reap where I sowed not, and gather where I did not scatter;
RSV : But his master answered him, `You wicked and slothful servant! You knew that I reap where I have not sowed, and gather where I have not winnowed?
ASV : But his lord answered and said unto him, Thou wicked and slothful servant, thou knewest that I reap where I sowed not, and gather where I did not scatter;
ESV : But his master answered him, 'You wicked and slothful servant! You knew that I reap where I have not sowed and gather where I scattered no seed?
