ORV : ଆୟୁବ ଉତ୍ତର ଦଲୋ, "ପୃଥିବୀ ରେ କ'ଣ ମନୁଷ୍ଯ ସଂଗ୍ରାମ କରେ ନାହିଁ? ତା'ର ଜୀବନ ହେଉଛି ଜଣେ ବତନେ ପାଉଥିବା ଶ୍ରମିକର ଜୀବନ ସଦୃଶ।
KJV : [Is there] not an appointed time to man upon earth? [are not] his days also like the days of an hireling?
YLT : Is there not a warfare to man on earth? And as the days of an hireling his days?
RV : Is there not a warfare to man upon earth? and are not his days like the days of an hireling?
RSV : "Has not man a hard service upon earth, and are not his days like the days of a hireling?
ASV : Is there not a warfare to man upon earth? And are not his days like the days of a hireling?
ESV : "Has not man a hard service on earth, and are not his days like the days of a hired hand?
ERVEN : "People have a hard struggle on earth. Their life is like that of a hired worker.

ORV : ମଣିଷ, ଜଣେ ଦାସ ଯଭେଳି ଦିନର କଠିନ ଶ୍ରମ ପରେ ଶୀତଳ ଛାଯା ଚା ହେଁ। ମଣିଷ ଜଣେ ମୂଲ ପାଉଥିବା ବ୍ଯକ୍ତି ଯମେିତି ତା'ର ବତନେ ଦିନକୁ ଅପେକ୍ଷା କରେ।
KJV : As a servant earnestly desireth the shadow, and as an hireling looketh for [the reward of] his work:
YLT : As a servant desireth the shadow, And as a hireling expecteth his wage,
RV : As a servant that earnestly desireth the shadow, and as an hireling that looketh for his wages:
RSV : Like a slave who longs for the shadow, and like a hireling who looks for his wages,
ASV : As a servant that earnestly desireth the shadow, And as a hireling that looketh for his wages:
ESV : Like a slave who longs for the shadow, and like a hired hand who looks for his wages,
ERVEN : They are like a slave looking for cool shade or a hired worker waiting for payday.

ORV : ଅନକେ ମାସ ମାେତେ ନିରାଶ କରି ରାତ୍ରି ପରେ ରାତ୍ରି କଷ୍ଟ ଦିଆୟାଇ ଥିଲା।
KJV : So am I made to possess months of vanity, and wearisome nights are appointed to me.
YLT : So I have been caused to inherit months of vanity, And nights of misery they numbered to me.
RV : So am I made to possess months of vanity, and wearisome nights are appointed to me.
RSV : so I am allotted months of emptiness, and nights of misery are apportioned to me.

ERVEN : Month after frustrating month has gone by. I have suffered night after night.

ORV : ଯେତବେେଳେ ମୁଁ ଶଯନ କରେ, ମୁଁ କ ହେ, 'ଆଉ କେତେ ସମୟ ପରେ ଶୟ୍ଯା ତ୍ଯାଗ କରିବି।' ମାତ୍ର ରାତ୍ରି ଦୀର୍ଘ ହୁଏ। ଏବଂ ପ୍ରଭାତ ପର୍ୟ୍ଯନ୍ତ ମୁଁ ବିଛଣା ରେ ଛଟପଟ ହୁଏ।
KJV : When I lie down, I say, When shall I arise, and the night be gone? and I am full of tossings to and fro unto the dawning of the day.
YLT : If I lay down then I said, `When do I rise!` And evening hath been measured, And I have been full of tossings till dawn.
RV : When I lie down, I say, When shall I arise? but the night is long; and I am full of tossings to and fro unto the dawning of the day.

ORV : ଯଦିଓ ମାରେ ଶରୀର ପୋଷାକ ଆଚ୍ଛାଦିତ ଏକ କୀଟ ଓ ଧୂଳିର ସମାହାର। ମାରେ ଚର୍ମ ଫାଟିୟାଏ ଏବଂ ବହୁଥିବା ଘା ରେ ଢ଼ାଙ୍କି ହାଇେଛି।
KJV : My flesh is clothed with worms and clods of dust; my skin is broken, and become loathsome.
YLT : Clothed hath been my flesh [with] worms, And a clod of dust, My skin hath been shrivelled and is loathsome,
RV : My flesh is clothed with worms and clods of dust; my skin closeth up and breaketh out afresh.
RSV : My flesh is clothed with worms and dirt; my skin hardens, then breaks out afresh.

ORV : ମାରେ ଦିନଗୁଡ଼ିକ ଶୀଘ୍ର ଗଡ଼ିୟାଏ। ଏହା ତନ୍ତୀର ନଳୀଠାରୁ ଆହୁରି ଦ୍ରୁତଗାମୀ। ଶଷେ ରେ ଜୀବନଟା କୌଣସି ଆଶାର ପୂରଣ ବିନା ଶଷେ ହାଇୟୋଏ।
KJV : My days are swifter than a weaver’s shuttle, and are spent without hope.
YLT : My days swifter than a weaving machine, And they are consumed without hope.
RV : My days are swifter than a weaver-s shuttle, and are spent without hope.
RSV : My days are swifter than a weaver's shuttle, and come to their end without hope.
ASV : My days are swifter than a weavers shuttle, And are spent without hope.

ORV : ପରମେଶ୍ବର, ମନକରେ ମାରେ ଜୀବନ କବଳେ ଗୋଟିଏ ପ୍ରଶ୍ବାସ। ମୁଁ କବେେ ଆଉ କୌଣସି ଭଲ ବିଷଯ ଦେଖିବି ନାହିଁ।
KJV : O remember that my life is wind: mine eye shall no more see good.
YLT : Remember Thou that my life [is] a breath, Mine eye turneth not back to see good.
RV : Oh remember that my life is wind: mine eye shall no more see good.
RSV : "Remember that my life is a breath; my eye will never again see good.
ASV : Oh remember that my life is a breath: Mine eye shall no more see good.

ERVEN : God, remember, my life is like a breath. I will not get a second chance to enjoy it.

ORV : ତୁମ୍ଭେ ବି ମାେତେ ଆଉ ଦେଖିବ ନାହିଁ। ତୁମ୍ଭେ ମାେତେ ଖାଜେିବ କିନ୍ତୁ ମୁଁ ନ ଥିବି।
KJV : The eye of him that hath seen me shall see me no [more:] thine eyes [are] upon me, and I [am] not.
YLT : The eye of my beholder beholdeth me not. Thine eyes [are] upon me -- and I am not.
RV : The eye of him that seeth me shall behold me no more: thine eyes shall be upon me, but I shall not be.
RSV : The eye of him who sees me will behold me no more; while thy eyes are upon me, I shall be gone.

ORV : ଉଷା ମେଘ ଅଦୃଶ୍ଯ ହେଲାପରି, ଜଣେ ବ୍ଯକ୍ତି କବର ଭିତରକୁ ୟାଏ ଏବଂ ସେ ସେଥିରୁ ଫରେି ଆ ସେ ନାହିଁ।
KJV : [As] the cloud is consumed and vanisheth away: so he that goeth down to the grave shall come up no [more. ]
YLT : Consumed hath been a cloud, and it goeth, So he who is going down to Sheol cometh not up.
RV : As the cloud is consumed and vanisheth away, so he that goeth down to Sheol shall come up no more.
RSV : As the cloud fades and vanishes, so he who goes down to Sheol does not come up;

ORV : ସେ ଆଉ ତା'ର ଆପଣା ବାସଗୃହକୁ କବେେ ଆସିବ ନାହିଁ। ଏବଂ ତା'ର ସେ ପୁରୁଣା ଘର ମଧ୍ଯ ତାକୁ ଆଉ ଚିହ୍ନିବ ନାହିଁ।
KJV : He shall return no more to his house, neither shall his place know him any more.
YLT : He turneth not again to his house, Nor doth his place discern him again.
RV : He shall return no more to his house, neither shall his place know him any more.
RSV : he returns no more to his house, nor does his place know him any more.
ASV : He shall return no more to his house, Neither shall his place know him any more.

ERVEN : They don't come back to their old homes. The people there would not know them.

ORV : ତେଣୁ ମୁଁ ଆଉ ନିରବ ରହିପାରିବି ନାହିଁ, ମୁଁ ମାରେ ଆତ୍ମାର ବଦନୋ ପ୍ରକାଶ କରିବି। ମୁଁ ଅଭିଯୋଗ କରିବି କାରଣ ମାରେଆତ୍ମା ତିକ୍ତ ହାଇେଅଛି।
KJV : Therefore I will not refrain my mouth; I will speak in the anguish of my spirit; I will complain in the bitterness of my soul.
YLT : Also I -- I withhold not my mouth -- I speak in the distress of my spirit, I talk in the bitterness of my soul.

ORV : ହେ ପରମେଶ୍ବର, କାହିଁକି ତୁମ୍ଭେ ମାେତେ ପ୍ରହରା ଦେଉଛ ? ମୁଁ କ'ଣ ସମୁଦ୍ର ପରି ନା ସାମୁଦ୍ରିକ ରାକ୍ଷସ ପରି ?
KJV : [Am] I a sea, or a whale, that thou settest a watch over me?
YLT : A sea-[monster] am I, or a dragon, That thou settest over me a guard?
RV : Am I a sea, or a sea-monster, that thou settest a watch over me?
RSV : Am I the sea, or a sea monster, that thou settest a guard over me?
ASV : Am I a sea, or a sea-monster, That thou settest a watch over me?
ESV : Am I the sea, or a sea monster, that you set a guard over me?
ERVEN : Am I one of your enemies? Is that why you put a guard over me?

ORV : ଯଦି ମୁଁ କ ହେ ମାରେ ବିଛଣା ମାେତେ ଆନନ୍ଦ ଆଣି ଦବୋ ଉଚିତ୍। ମାରେ ବିଛଣା ମାେତେ ବିଶ୍ରାମ ଓ ଶାନ୍ତି ଆଣି ଦବୋ ଉଚିତ୍।
KJV : When I say, My bed shall comfort me, my couch shall ease my complaint;
YLT : When I said, `My bed doth comfort me,` He taketh away in my talking my couch.
RV : When I say, My bed shall comfort me, my couch shall ease my complaint;
RSV : When I say, `My bed will comfort me, my couch will ease my complaint,'
ASV : When I say, My bed shall comfort me, My couch shall ease my complaint;

ORV : କିନ୍ତୁ ହେ ପରମେଶ୍ବର, ମାରେ ଶଯନ ସମୟରେ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ମାେତେ ସ୍ବପ୍ନ ରେ ଭୟ ଦଖାେଉଛ। ତା'ପରେ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ମାେତେ ଦର୍ଶନ ରେ ଡ଼ରାଉଛ।
KJV : Then thou scarest me with dreams, and terrifiest me through visions:
YLT : And thou hast affrighted me with dreams, And from visions thou terrifiest me,
RV : Then thou scarest me with dreams, and terrifiest me through visions:
RSV : then thou dost scare me with dreams and terrify me with visions,
ASV : Then thou scarest me with dreams, And terrifiest me through visions:
ESV : then you scare me with dreams and terrify me with visions,
ERVEN : But when I lie down, you scare me with dreams; you frighten me with visions.

ORV : ତେଣୁ ମୁଁ ବଞ୍ଚିବାଠାରୁ ଶ୍ବାସ ରୋଧ ହାଇେ ମରିବାକୁ ଅଧିକ ପସନ୍ଦ କରେ।
KJV : So that my soul chooseth strangling, [and] death rather than my life.
YLT : And my soul chooseth strangling, Death rather than my bones.
RV : So that my soul chooseth strangling, and death rather than {cf15i these} my bones.
RSV : so that I would choose strangling and death rather than my bones.

ORV : ମୁଁ ଏ ଜୀବନକୁ ଘୃଣା କରେ। ମୁଁ ତ୍ଯାଗ କରୁଛି, ମୁଁ ଅଧିକ ଦିନ ବଞ୍ଚିବି ନାହିଁ। ମାେତେ ଛାଡ଼, ମାରେ ବଞ୍ଚିବାର କିଛି ଅର୍ଥ ନାହିଁ।
KJV : I loathe [it;] I would not live alway: let me alone; for my days [are] vanity.
YLT : I have wasted away -- not to the age do I live. Cease from me, for my days [are] vanity.
RV : I loathe {cf15i my life}; I would not live alway: let me alone; for my days are vanity.
RSV : I loathe my life; I would not live for ever. Let me alone, for my days are a breath.

ORV : ହେ ପରମେଶ୍ବର, କାହିଁକି ମଣିଷ ତୁମ୍ଭ ପାଇଁ ଏତେ ମହତ୍ତ୍ବାପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ। ତୁମ୍ଭେ କାହିଁକି ତାକୁ ସମ୍ମାନ ଦବେ ? ତୁମ୍ଭେ କାହିଁକି ତା'ପ୍ରତି ଧ୍ଯାନ ଦବେ ?
KJV : What [is] man, that thou shouldest magnify him? and that thou shouldest set thine heart upon him?
YLT : What [is] man that Thou dost magnify him? And that Thou settest unto him Thy heart?
RV : What is man, that thou shouldest magnify him, and that thou shouldest set thine heart upon him,
RSV : What is man, that thou dost make so much of him, and that thou dost set thy mind upon him,
ASV : What is man, that thou shouldest magnify him, And that thou shouldest set thy mind upon him,
ESV : What is man, that you make so much of him, and that you set your heart on him,
ERVEN : God, why are people so important to you? Why do you even notice them?

ORV : କାହିଁକି ମଣିଷକୁ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ପ୍ରେତ୍ୟକକ ସକାଳ ରେ ସାକ୍ଷାତ କର ଏବଂ ତା'ର ପ୍ରେତ୍ୟକକ ମୁହୂର୍ତ୍ତକୁ ପରୀକ୍ଷା କର।
KJV : And [that] thou shouldest visit him every morning, [and] try him every moment?
YLT : And inspectest him in the mornings, In the evenings dost try him?
RV : And that thou shouldest visit him every morning, and try him every moment?
RSV : dost visit him every morning, and test him every moment?
ASV : And that thou shouldest visit him every morning, And try him every moment?

ERVEN : Why do you visit them every morning and test them at every moment?

ORV : ତୁମ୍ଭେ କେତକୋଳ ପର୍ୟ୍ଯନ୍ତ ମାଠାରୁେ ଆପଣା ଦୃଷ୍ଟି ଦୂ ରଇେ ରଖିବ? ତୁମ୍ଭେ ମାେତେ ଏକାଳି ବହୁକାଳ ପର୍ୟ୍ଯନ୍ତ ଗ୍ରାସିତ ହବୋକୁ ଛାଡି ଦିଅ ନାହିଁ।
KJV : How long wilt thou not depart from me, nor let me alone till I swallow down my spittle?
YLT : How long dost Thou not look from me? Thou dost not desist till I swallow my spittle.
RV : How long wilt thou not look away from me, nor let me alone till I swallow down my spittle?
RSV : How long wilt thou not look away from me, nor let me alone till I swallow my spittle?

ORV : ଯଦି ମୁଁ କିଛି ପାପ କରିଛି ତାହା କିପରି ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ଆଘାତ କରୁଛି? ୟିଏ ମଣିଷମାନଙ୍କ ଉପରେ ସତର୍କ ଦୃଷ୍ଟି ରଖନ୍ତି। କାହିଁକି ତୁମ୍ଭେ ମାେତେ ଆପଣା ଲକ୍ଷ୍ଯ ସ୍ବରୂପ ରଖିଛ? ମୁଁ କ'ଣ ତୁମ୍ଭ ପାଇଁ କୌଣସି ସମସ୍ଯା ହାଇେଛି?
KJV : I have sinned; what shall I do unto thee, O thou preserver of men? why hast thou set me as a mark against thee, so that I am a burden to myself?
YLT : I have sinned, what do I to Thee, O watcher of man? Why hast Thou set me for a mark to Thee, And I am for a burden to myself -- and what?
RV : If I have sinned, what do I unto thee, O thou watcher of men? why hast thou set me as a mark for thee, so that I am a burden to myself?
RSV : If I sin, what do I do to thee, thou watcher of men? Why hast thou made me thy mark? Why have I become a burden to thee?

ESV : If I sin, what do I do to you, you watcher of mankind? Why have you made me your mark? Why have I become a burden to you?
ERVEN : You are always watching us! If I sinned, would that hurt you? Why have you made me your target? Have I become a problem for you?

ORV : କାହିଁକି ତୁମ୍ଭେ ମାେତେ କ୍ଷମା କରୁ ନାହଁ, ଯଦି ମୁଁ କିଛି ଅଧର୍ମ କରିଥାଏ ? କାହିଁକି ମାରେ କୌଣସି ପାପ କ୍ଷମା କରୁନାହଁ ?"
KJV : And why dost thou not pardon my transgression, and take away mine iniquity? for now shall I sleep in the dust; and thou shalt seek me in the morning, but I [shall] not [be.]
YLT : Thou dost not take away my transgression, And cause to pass away mine iniquity, Because now, for dust I lie down: And Thou hast sought me -- and I am not!
RV : And why dost thou not pardon my transgression, and take away mine iniquity? for now shall I lie down in the dust; and thou shall seek me diligently, but I shall not be.
RSV : Why dost thou not pardon my transgression and take away my iniquity? For now I shall lie in the earth; thou wilt seek me, but I shall not be."

ERVEN : Why don't you just pardon me for doing wrong? Why don't you just forgive me for my sins? Soon I will die and be in my grave. You will search for me, but I will be gone."
