BNV : এই ভাবে জেরুশালেম দখল হল: যিহূদার ওপর রাজা সিদিকিয়র নবম বছরের রাজত্বের দশম মাসে বাবিলের রাজা নবূখদ্রিত্‌সর তাঁর সৈন্যবাহিনীসহ জেরুশালেম শহর অধিগ্রহণের জন্য বেরিয়েছিলেন| তারা শহরটিকে অধিকার করবার জন্য তাকে ঘিরে ফেলেছিল|
KJV : In the ninth year of Zedekiah king of Judah, in the tenth month, came Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon and all his army against Jerusalem, and they besieged it.
YLT : In the ninth year of Zedekiah king of Judah, in the tenth month, come hath Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon and all his force unto Jerusalem, and they lay siege against it;

ERVEN : This is how Jerusalem was captured: During the tenth month of the ninth year that Zedekiah was king of Judah, King Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon marched against Jerusalem with his whole army. He surrounded the city to defeat it.

BNV : তখন বাবিলের রাজার সভাসদরা জেরুশালেম শহরে প্রবেশ করেছিল| তারা এসে বসেছিল শহরের মাঝখানের ফটকে| সেই সভাসদদের নাম ছিল: সমগর জেলার রাজ্যপাল নের্গল-শরেত্‌সর, সমগরনবো নামের এক উচ্চপদস্থ রাজকর্মচারী এবং আরও অন্যান্য অনেক গুরুত্বপূর্ণ পারিষদবৃন্দও সেখানে উপস্থিত ছিল|
KJV : And all the princes of the king of Babylon came in, and sat in the middle gate, [even] Nergal-sharezer, Samgar-nebo, Sarsechim, Rab- saris, Nergal-sharezer, Rabmag, with all the residue of the princes of the king of Babylon.
YLT : and come in do all the heads of the king of Babylon, and they sit at the middle gate, Nergal-Sharezer, Samgar-Nebo, Sarsechim, chief of the eunuchs, Nergal-Sharezer, chief of the Mages, and all the rest of the heads of the king of Babylon.
RV : that all the princes of the king of Babylon came in, and sat in the middle gate, even Nergal-sharezer, Samgar-nebo, Sarsechim, Rab-saris, Nergal-sharezer, Rab-mag, with all the rest of the princes of the king of Babylon.

ESV : Then all the officials of the king of Babylon came and sat in the middle gate: Nergal-sar-ezer, Samgar-nebu, Sar-sekim the Rab-saris, Nergal-sar-ezer the Rab-mag, with all the rest of the officers of the king of Babylon.
ERVEN : Then all the royal officials of the king of Babylon came into the city of Jerusalem. They came in and sat down at the Middle Gate. These are the names of the officials: Nergal- Sharezer, the governor of the district of Samgar, a very high official; Nebo Sarsekim, another very high official; and various other important officials were there also.

BNV : বাবিল থেকে আসা ঐ সভাসদদের সিদিকিয় দেখেছিলেন| অতএব, সেই রাত্রেই তিনি এবং তাঁর বিশ্বস্ত সৈন্যরা রাজার বাগানের মধ্যে দিয়ে একটি গোপন ফটক পেরিযে, দুটি প্রাচীরের মধ্যে দিয়ে জেরুশালেম থেকে পালিয়ে গিয়েছিলেন| তাঁরা য়র্দন উপত্যকার দিকে পালিয়েছিলেন|
KJV : And it came to pass, [that] when Zedekiah the king of Judah saw them, and all the men of war, then they fled, and went forth out of the city by night, by the way of the king’s garden, by the gate betwixt the two walls: and he went out the way of the plain.
YLT : And it cometh to pass, when Zedekiah king of Judah, and all the men of war, have seen them, that they flee and go forth by night from the city, the way of the king`s garden, through the gate between the two walls, and he goeth forth the way of the plain.
RV : And it came to pass that when Zedekiah the king of Judah and all the men of war saw them, then they fled, and went forth out of the city by night, by the way of the king-s garden, by the gate betwixt the two walls: and he went out the way of the Arabah.
RSV : When Zedekiah king of Judah and all the soldiers saw them, they fled, going out of the city at night by way of the king's garden through the gate between the two walls; and they went toward the Arabah.
ASV : And it came to pass that, when Zedekiah the king of Judah and all the men of war saw them, then they fled, and went forth out of the city by night, by the way of the kings garden, through the gate betwixt the two walls; and he went out toward the Arabah.
ESV : When Zedekiah king of Judah and all the soldiers saw them, they fled, going out of the city at night by way of the king's garden through the gate between the two walls; and they went toward the Arabah.
ERVEN : King Zedekiah of Judah saw the officials from Babylon, so he and the soldiers with him ran away. They left Jerusalem at night. They went out through the king's garden and out through the gate that was between the two walls. Then they went toward the desert.

BNV : বাবিলের সৈন্যদল সিদিকিয় ও তাঁর সৈন্যদের তাড়া করেছিল এবং তাদের য়িরীহোর সমতলভূমিতে গ্রেপ্তার করেছিল| গ্রেপ্তারের পর তাদের নিয়ে আসা হয় বাবিলের রাজা নবূখদ্রিত্‌সরের কাছে| নবূখদ্রিত্‌সর তখন ছিলেন হমাত্‌ প্রদেশের রিব্লা শহরে| সেখানে তিনি ঠিক করেছিলেন সিদিকিয়র প্রতি কি করা হবে|
KJV : But the Chaldeans’ army pursued after them, and overtook Zedekiah in the plains of Jericho: and when they had taken him, they brought him up to Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon to Riblah in the land of Hamath, where he gave judgment upon him.
YLT : And the forces of the Chaldeans pursue after them, and overtake Zedekiah in the plains of Jericho, and they take him, and bring him up unto Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon, to Riblah, in the land of Hamath, and he speaketh with him -- judgments.

ERVEN : The Babylonian army chased Zedekiah and the soldiers with him. They caught up with Zedekiah in the plains of Jericho. They captured Zedekiah and took him to King Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon. Nebuchadnezzar was at the town of Riblah in the land of Hamath. At that place, Nebuchadnezzar decided what to do to Zedekiah.

BNV : এই রিব্লা শহরেই সিদিকিয়র চোখের সামনেই সিদিকিয়র পুত্রদের নবূখদ্রিত্‌সর হত্যা করেছিলেন| এবং যিহূদার রাজসভার সমস্ত সভাপারিষদবৃন্দকেও হত্যা করা হয়েছিল|
KJV : Then the king of Babylon slew the sons of Zedekiah in Riblah before his eyes: also the king of Babylon slew all the nobles of Judah.
YLT : And the king of Babylon slaughtereth the sons of Zedekiah, in Riblah, before his eyes, yea, all the freemen of Judah hath the king of Babylon slaughtered.

ERVEN : There at the town of Riblah, the king of Babylon killed Zedekiah's sons and he killed all the royal officials of Judah while Zedekiah watched.

BNV : নবূখদ্রিত্‌সর সিদিকিয়র চোখ দুটো উপড়ে ফেলেছিলেন, তাকে পিতলের শেকল দিয়ে শৃঙ্খলিত করেছিলেন এবং তাকে বাবিলে নিয়ে গিয়েছিলেন|
KJV : Moreover he put out Zedekiah’s eyes, and bound him with chains, to carry him to Babylon.
YLT : And the eyes of Zedekiah he hath blinded, and he bindeth him with brazen fetters, to bring him in to Babylon.
RV : Moreover he put out Zedekiah-s eyes, and bound him in fetters, to carry him to Babylon.

BNV : বাবিলের সৈন্যরা রাজপ্রাসাদ এবং সাধারণ মানুষের ঘরবাড়ি বালিয়ে দিয়েছিল এবং তারা জেরুশালেমের পাঁচিল ভেঙে গুঁড়িযে দিয়েছিল|
KJV : And the Chaldeans burned the king’s house, and the houses of the people, with fire, and brake down the walls of Jerusalem.

BNV : বাবিলের রাজার বিশেষ রক্ষীদের প্রধান নবূষরদন যারা তখনও বেঁচে ছিল তাদের সবাইকে বন্দী করেছিল এবং বাবিলে নিয়ে গিয়েছিল| যারা আগেই আত্মসমর্পণ করেছিল তাদেরও নবূষরদন বন্দী করে বাবিলে নিয়ে গিয়েছিল|
KJV : Then Nebuzar-adan the captain of the guard carried away captive into Babylon the remnant of the people that remained in the city, and those that fell away, that fell to him, with the rest of the people that remained.
YLT : And the remnant of the people who are left in the city, and those falling who have fallen to him, and the remnant of the people who are left, hath Nebuzar-Adan, chief of the executioners, removed [to] Babylon.

ERVEN : Nebuzaradan was the commander of the king of Babylon's special guards. He took all the people who had surrendered to him and all the people still in Jerusalem and made them captives. He carried them away to Babylon.

BNV : কিন্তু যিহূদার কিছু গরীব লোককে নবূষরদন বন্দী করে নিয়ে না গিয়ে বরং তাদের সে জমি ও দ্রাক্ষাক্ষেত দান করে দিয়েছিল|
KJV : But Nebuzar-adan the captain of the guard left of the poor of the people, which had nothing, in the land of Judah, and gave them vineyards and fields at the same time.
YLT : And of the poor people, who have nothing, hath Nebuzar-Adan, chief of the executioners, left in the land of Judah, and he giveth to them vineyards and fields on the same day.

BNV : কিন্তু নবূখদ্রিত্‌সর যিরমিয়র ব্যাপারে নবূষরদনকে কিছু আদেশ দিয়েছিলেন| নবূষরদন ছিল নবূখদ্রিত্‌সরের বিশেষ দেহরক্ষীদের প্রধান| আদেশ ছিল:
KJV : Now Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon gave charge concerning Jeremiah to Nebuzar-adan the captain of the guard, saying,
YLT : And Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon giveth a charge concerning Jeremiah, by the hand of Nebuzar-Adan, chief of the executioners, saying,

BNV : “যিরমিয়কে খুঁজে বের করো এবং ভালো করে তার দেখাশোনা কর| তাকে আঘাত করো না| সে যা চায় তাই তাকে দাও|”
KJV : Take him, and look well to him, and do him no harm; but do unto him even as he shall say unto thee.
YLT : `Take him, and place thine eyes upon him, and do no evil thing to him, but as he speaketh unto thee, so do with him.`

BNV : সুতরাং নবূষরদন, নবূখদ্রিত্‌সরের বিশেষ রক্ষীদের প্রধান, বাবিলের বিশেষ রক্ষসুদর মুখ্য আধিকারিক নবূশস্বন, উচ্চপদস্থ রাজকর্মচারী নের্গল-শরেত্‌সর এবং অন্যান্য উচ্চপর্য়াযের আধিকারিকদের যিরমিয়র সন্ধানে পাঠানো হয়েছিল|
KJV : So Nebuzar-adan the captain of the guard sent, and Nebushasban, Rab-saris, and Nergal-sharezer, Rabmag, and all the king of Babylon’s princes;
YLT : And Nebuzar-Adan, chief of the executioners sendeth, and Nebushazban, chief of the eunuchs, and Nergal-Sharezer, chief of the Mages, and all the chiefs of the king of Babylon;

ERVEN : So Nebuzaradan, the commander of the king's special guards, Nebushazban, a chief officer in the army of Babylon, Nergal-Sharezer, a high official, and all the other officers of the army of Babylon sent for Jeremiah.

BNV : তারা যিরমিয়কে উপাসনালয চত্বরে খুঁজে পেয়েছিল| সেখানে তাকে নজরবন্দী করে রেখেছিল যিহূদার রাজার রক্ষীরা| ঐ আধিকারিকরা যিরমিয়কে গদলিযের হাতে তুলে দিয়েছিল| গদলিয় ছিল অহীকামের পুত্র এবং শাফনের পৌত্র| গদলিয়কে নির্দেশ দেওয়া ছিল যিরমিয়কে তার নিজের বাড়িতে পৌঁছে দেওয়ার জন্য| সুতরাং যিরমিয় তার নিজের বাড়িতে পরিবারের কাছে ফিরে এসেছিল|
KJV : Even they sent, and took Jeremiah out of the court of the prison, and committed him unto Gedaliah the son of Ahikam the son of Shaphan, that he should carry him home: so he dwelt among the people.
YLT : yea, they send and take Jeremiah out of the court of the prison, and give him unto Gedaliah son of Ahikam, son of Shaphan, to carry him home, and he dwelleth in the midst of the people.

ESV : sent and took Jeremiah from the court of the guard. They entrusted him to Gedaliah the son of Ahikam, son of Shaphan, that he should take him home. So he lived among the people.
ERVEN : They had Jeremiah taken out of the Temple yard where he had been under the guard of the king of Judah. They turned Jeremiah over to Gedaliah son of Ahikam, the son of Shaphan. Gedaliah had orders to take Jeremiah back home. So Jeremiah was taken home, and he stayed among his own people.

BNV : মন্দির চত্বরে প্রহরীদের পাহারায় যিরমিয় যখন বন্দী ছিল তখন তার কাছে প্রভুর বার্তা এসেছিল|
KJV : Now the word of the LORD came unto Jeremiah, while he was shut up in the court of the prison, saying,
YLT : And unto Jeremiah hath a word of Jehovah been -- in his being detained in the court of the prison -- saying:

ERVEN : While the guards were watching Jeremiah in the Temple yard, a message from the Lord came to him. This was the message:

BNV : এই ছিল সেই বার্তা: “যাও এবং কূশীয় এবদ-মেলককে বল: ‘প্রভু সর্বশক্তিমান ইস্রায়েলের ঈশ্বর বলেন: জেরুশালেম সম্বন্ধে আমার বাণী খুব শীঘ্রই আমি সত্যে পরিণত করব| আমার বার্তা সত্য হবে বিপর্য়যের মধ্যে দিয়ে, ভালো জিনিষ দিয়ে নয়| তোমরা তা তোমাদের নিজেদের চোখেই দেখতে পাবে|
KJV : Go and speak to Ebed-melech the Ethiopian, saying, Thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Behold, I will bring my words upon this city for evil, and not for good; and they shall be [accomplished] in that day before thee.
YLT : `Go, and thou hast spoken to Ebed-Melech the Cushite, saying: Thus said Jehovah of Hosts, God of Israel: Lo, I am bringing in My words unto this city for evil, and not for good, and they have been before thee in that day.
RV : Go, and speak to Ebed-melech the Ethiopian, saying, Thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel: Behold, I will bring my words upon this city for evil, and not for good; and they shall be accomplished before thee in that day.
RSV : "Go, and say to Ebedmelech the Ethiopian, `Thus says the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel: Behold, I will fulfil my words against this city for evil and not for good, and they shall be accomplished before you on that day.
ASV : Go, and speak to Ebed-melech the Ethiopian, saying, Thus saith Jehovah of hosts, the God of Israel: Behold, I will bring my words upon this city for evil, and not for good; and they shall be accomplished before thee in that day.
ESV : "Go, and say to Ebed-melech the Ethiopian, 'Thus says the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel: Behold, I will fulfill my words against this city for harm and not for good, and they shall be accomplished before you on that day.
ERVEN : "Jeremiah, go and tell Ebed Melech the Ethiopian this message: 'This is what the Lord All-Powerful, the God of the people of Israel, says: Very soon I will make my messages about this city of Jerusalem come true. My messages will come true through disaster, not through something good. You will see everything come true with your own eyes.

KJV : But I will deliver thee in that day, saith the LORD: and thou shalt not be given into the hand of the men of whom thou [art] afraid.
