BNV : প্রভু আমাকে বললেন, “বড় একটি পাকানো কাগজ নিয়ে এসো এবং তাতে একটি বিশেষ কলম দিয়ে লেখ: ‘এটা মহের-শালল-হাশ-বসেরউদ্দেশ্যে|’
KJV : Moreover the LORD said unto me, Take thee a great roll, and write in it with a man’s pen concerning Maher-shalal-hash-baz.
YLT : And Jehovah saith unto me, `Take to thee a great tablet, and write upon it with a graving tool of man, To haste spoil, enjoy prey.`
RV : And the LORD said unto me, Take thee a great tablet, and write upon it with the pen of a man, For Maher-shalal-hash-baz;
RSV : Then the LORD said to me, "Take a large tablet and write upon it in common characters, `Belonging to Mahershalalhashbaz.'"
ASV : And Jehovah said unto me, Take thee a great tablet, and write upon it with the pen of a man, For Maher-shalal-hash-baz;
ESV : Then the LORD said to me, "Take a large tablet and write on it in common characters, 'Belonging to Maher-shalal-hashbaz.'
ERVEN : The Lord told me, "Get a large scroll, and use an ordinary pen to write these words: 'This is for Maher Shalal Hash Baz.' "

BNV : আমি কিছু লোককে একত্রিত করলাম যাদের সাক্ষী হিসেবে বিশ্বাস করা যায়| (এরা হল ঊরিয যাজক ও য়িবেরিখিযের পুত্র সখরিয|) আমি ঐ কথা লেখার সময় এরা লক্ষ্য রাখল|
KJV : And I took unto me faithful witnesses to record, Uriah the priest, and Zechariah the son of Jeberechiah.
YLT : And I cause faithful witnesses to testify to me, Uriah the priest, and Zechariah son of Jeberechiah.
RV : and I will take unto me faithful witnesses to record, Uriah the priest, and Zechariah the son of Jeberechiah.

ERVEN : I found some men who could be trusted to serve as witnesses: Uriah the priest and Zechariah son of Jeberekiah. They watched me write those words.

BNV : পরে আমি ভাব্বাদিনীর কাজে গেলাম| সে গর্ভবতী হয়ে পুত্র সন্তানের জন্ম দিল| তখন প্রভু আমাকে বললেন, “ওর নাম মহের-শালল-হাশ-বস রাখ|
KJV : And I went unto the prophetess; and she conceived, and bare a son. Then said the LORD to me, Call his name Maher-shalal-hash-baz.
YLT : And I draw near unto the prophetess, and she conceiveth, and beareth a son; and Jehovah saith unto me, `Call his name Maher-shalal-hash-baz,
RV : And I went unto the prophetess; and she conceived, and bare a son. Then said the LORD unto me, Call his name Maher-shalal-hash-baz.
RSV : And I went to the prophetess, and she conceived and bore a son. Then the LORD said to me, "Call his name Mahershalalhashbaz;

ERVEN : Then I went to the woman prophet. She became pregnant and had a son. The Lord told me, "Name the boy Maher Shalal Hash Baz."

BNV : কারণ ছেলেটি ‘বাবা’, ‘মা’ বলতে শেখার আগেই ঈশ্বর দম্মেশক ও শমরিয়ার সব ধনসম্পদ নিয়ে নেবেন এবং তা অশূর রাজার হাতে তুলে দেবেন|”
KJV : For before the child shall have knowledge to cry, My father, and my mother, the riches of Damascus and the spoil of Samaria shall be taken away before the king of Assyria.
YLT : for before the youth doth know to cry, My father, and My mother, one taketh away the wealth of Damascus and the spoil of Samaria, before the king of Asshur.`
RV : For before the child shall have knowledge to cry, My father, and, My mother, the riches of Damascus and the spoil of Samaria shall be carried away before the king of Assyria.
RSV : for before the child knows how to cry `My father' or `My mother,' the wealth of Damascus and the spoil of Samaria will be carried away before the king of Assyria."

ESV : for before the boy knows how to cry 'My father' or 'My mother,' the wealth of Damascus and the spoil of Samaria will be carried away before the king of Assyria."
ERVEN : He said that because before the boy learns to say "Mama" and "Daddy," God will take all the wealth and riches from Damascus and Samaria and give them to the king of Assyria.

BNV : প্রভু আবার আমাকে বললেন,

BNV : “এই লোকরা শীলোহের মৃদু স্রোতকে গ্রহণ করতে অস্বীকার করেছে| তারা রত্‌সীন ও রমলিযের পুত্র পেকহকে নিয়ে খুশী হয়েছে|
KJV : Forasmuch as this people refuseth the waters of Shiloah that go softly, and rejoice in Rezin and Remaliah’s son;
YLT : `Because that this people hath refused The waters of Shiloah that go softly, And is rejoicing with Rezin and the son of Remaliah,
RV : Forasmuch as this people hath refused the waters of Shiloah that go softly, and rejoice in Rezin and Remaliah-s son;

BNV : কিন্তু আমি, প্রভু অশূর রাজাকে আনব এবং তার সমস্ত ক্ষমতা তোমাদের বিরুদ্ধে প্রযোগ করব| তারা ফরাত্‌ নদীর শক্তিশালী বন্যার জলের মতো আসবে| জল ফুলে ফেঁপে যেমন নদীর দুকূল ছাপিযে তেড়ে আসে সে ভাবে তারা আসবে|
KJV : Now therefore, behold, the Lord bringeth up upon them the waters of the river, strong and many, [even] the king of Assyria, and all his glory: and he shall come up over all his channels, and go over all his banks:
YLT : Therefore, lo, the Lord is bringing up on them, The waters of the river, the mighty and the great, (The king of Asshur, and all his glory,) And it hath gone up over all its streams, And hath gone on over all its banks.

ERVEN : But the Lord will bring the king of Assyria and all his power against them. The Assyrians will come like their swift moving river, like water that rises and spills over its banks.

BNV : এই জল ঐ নদী উপচে যিহূদা দেশকে প্লাবিত করবে| এই জলে যিহূদা আকণ্ঠ নিমজ্জিত হবে এবং প্রায গোটা দেশ ভেসে যাবে|“হে ইম্মানূযেল তোমার গোটা দেশকে গ্রাস না করা পর্য়ন্ত, এই বন্যা তার তাণ্ডব চালিযে যাবে|”
KJV : And he shall pass through Judah; he shall overflow and go over, he shall reach [even] to the neck; and the stretching out of his wings shall fill the breadth of thy land, O Immanuel.
YLT : And it hath passed on into Judah, It hath overflown and passed over, Unto the neck it cometh, And the stretching out of its wings Hath been the fulness of the breadth of thy land, O Emmanu-El!
RV : and he shall sweep onward into Judah; he shall overflow and pass through; he shall reach even to the neck; and the stretching out of his wings shall fill the breadth of thy land, O Immanuel.
RSV : and it will sweep on into Judah, it will overflow and pass on, reaching even to the neck; and its outspread wings will fill the breadth of your land, O Immanuel."
ASV : and it shall sweep onward into Judah; it shall overflow and pass through; it shall reach even to the neck; and the stretching out of its wings shall fill the breadth of thy land, O Immanuel.
ESV : and it will sweep on into Judah, it will overflow and pass on, reaching even to the neck, and its outspread wings will fill the breadth of your land, O Immanuel."
ERVEN : This water will be like a flash flood as it passes through Judah. It will rise to Judah's throat and almost drown him. But he will spread his wings over your whole country, Immanuel.

BNV : সমস্ত দেশসমূহ, তোমরা যুদ্ধের জন্য প্রস্তুত হও| তোমরা পরাজিত হবে| সকল দূরবর্তী দেশের লোকরা শোন! তোমরা যুদ্ধের জন্য প্রস্তুত হও| তোমরাও পরাজিত হবে|
KJV : Associate yourselves, O ye people, and ye shall be broken in pieces; and give ear, all ye of far countries: gird yourselves, and ye shall be broken in pieces; gird yourselves, and ye shall be broken in pieces.
YLT : Be friends, O nations, and be broken, And give ear, all ye far off ones of earth, Gird yourselves, and be broken, Gird yourselves, and be broken.
RV : Make an uproar; O ye peoples, and ye shall be broken in pieces; and give ear, all ye of far countries: gird yourselves, and ye shall be broken in pieces: gird yourselves, and ye shall be broken in pieces.

ERVEN : All you nations, prepare for war. You will be defeated. Listen, all you faraway countries! Prepare for battle. You will be defeated.

BNV : তোমরা যুদ্ধের পরিকল্পনা তৈরী কর! তোমাদের পরিকল্পনা পর্য়ুদস্ত হবে| তোমাদের সেনাবাহিনীকে আদেশ দাও! কিন্তু তোমাদের আদেশ নিস্?ল হবে| কেননা ঈশ্বর আমাদের সঙ্গে আছেন|
KJV : Take counsel together, and it shall come to nought; speak the word, and it shall not stand: for God [is] with us.
YLT : Take counsel, and it is broken, Speak a word, and it doth not stand, Because of Emmanu-El!`

ERVEN : Make your plans for the fight. Your plans will be defeated. Give orders to your armies, but your orders will be useless, because God is with us!

BNV : প্রভু শক্ত হাতে আমার সঙ্গে কথা বলেছিলেন| প্রভু আমাকে সতর্ক করে দিলেন এই লোকদের পথে না যেতে| প্রভু বললেন,
KJV : For the LORD spake thus to me with a strong hand, and instructed me that I should not walk in the way of this people, saying,

BNV : “প্রত্যেক লোকই বলছে যে অন্য লোক তার বিরুদ্ধে ষড়যন্ত্র করছে| তুমি এই সব জিনিস বিশ্বাস কোরো না| এই সব লোকরা যেসব বিষয়কে ভয় পায় তুমি তাতে ভয় পেও না!”
KJV : Say ye not, A confederacy, to all [them to] whom this people shall say, A confederacy; neither fear ye their fear, nor be afraid.
YLT : `Ye do not say, A confederacy, To all to whom this people saith, A confederacy, And its fear ye do not fear, Nor declare fearful.
RV : Say ye not, A conspiracy, concerning all whereof this people shall say, A conspiracy; neither fear ye their fear, nor be in dread {cf15i thereof}.

BNV : এক মাত্র প্রভু সর্বশক্তিমানকেই তোমাদের ভয় পাওয়া উচিত্‌| তাঁকেই তোমাদের সম্মান জানানো উচিত্‌|
KJV : Sanctify the LORD of hosts himself; and [let] him [be] your fear, and [let] him [be] your dread.
YLT : Jehovah of Hosts -- Him ye do sanctify, And He [is] your Fear, and He your Dread,

ERVEN : The Lord All-Powerful is the one you should fear. He is the one you should respect. He is the one who should frighten you.

BNV : যদি তোমরা প্রভুকে সম্মান কর, তাঁকে পবিত্র বলে মান্য কর, তাহলেই তিনি তোমাদের পক্ষে এক নিরাপদ আশ্রয় হবেন| কিন্তু তোমরা তাঁকে সম্মান কর না| তাই ঈশ্বর একটা পাথরের মতো হবেন এবং তোমরা সেই পাথরের ওপর আছড়ে পড়বে| ইস্রায়েলের দুটি পরিবার এই পাথরের ওপর হোঁচট খাবে এবং তারা আঘাত পাবে| জেরুশালেমের সমস্ত লোককে আটক করতে প্রভু একটা ফাঁদ স্বরূপ হবেন|
KJV : And he shall be for a sanctuary; but for a stone of stumbling and for a rock of offence to both the houses of Israel, for a gin and for a snare to the inhabitants of Jerusalem.
YLT : And He hath been for a sanctuary, And for a stone of stumbling, and for a rock of falling, To the two houses of Israel, For a gin and for a snare to the inhabitants of Jerusalem.

ERVEN : If you people would respect the Lord, he would be a safe place for you. But you don't respect him, so he is like a stone that you stumble over. He is a rock that makes the two families of Israel fall. The Lord has become a trap to all the people of Jerusalem.

BNV : অনেক লোক এই পাথরের ওপর হোঁচট খাবে, তারা পড়ে যাবে এবং আহত হবে| অনেকে ফাঁদে পড়ে ধরা পড়বে|
KJV : And many among them shall stumble, and fall, and be broken, and be snared, and be taken.
YLT : And many among them have stumbled and fallen, And been broken, and snared, and captured.
RV : And many shall stumble thereon, and fall, and be broken, and be snared, and be taken.

ERVEN : (Many people will trip over this rock. They will fall and be broken. They will be caught in the trap.)

BNV : যিশাইয় বললেন: “একটা চুক্তি কর এবং তাতে সীলমোহর দিয়ে রাখো| ভবিষ্যতের জন্য আমার শিক্ষামালাকে সঞ্চয় করে রাখো| আমার অনুগামীদের সামনে এই কাজটি কর|
KJV : Bind up the testimony, seal the law among my disciples.
YLT : Bind up the testimony, Seal the law among My disciples.
RV : Bind thou up the testimony, seal the law among my disciples.
RSV : Bind up the testimony, seal the teaching among my disciples.

ERVEN : {The Lord said,} "Write this agreement. Tie it up and seal it so that it cannot be changed. Give these teachings to my followers for safekeeping."

BNV : চুক্তিটি হল:আমি আমাদের রক্ষা করতে প্রভুর জন্য অপেক্ষা করব| তিনি যাকোবের পরিবারের থেকে মুখ লুকোচ্ছেন| কিন্তু আমি প্রভুর জন্য অপেক্ষা করব| তিনি আমাদের রক্ষা করবেন|

BNV : “আমি এবং আমার ছেলেমেয়েরা ইস্রায়েলের লোকের চিহ্ন এবং প্রমাণ স্বরূপ| সিয়োন পর্বতনিবাসী প্রভু সর্বশক্তিমান আমাদের পাঠিয়েছেন|”
KJV : Behold, I and the children whom the LORD hath given me [are] for signs and for wonders in Israel from the LORD of hosts, which dwelleth in mount Zion.
YLT : Lo, I, and the children whom Jehovah hath given to me, [Are] for signs and for wonders in Israel, From Jehovah of Hosts, who is dwelling in Mount Zion.
RV : Behold, I and the children whom the LORD hath given me are for signs and for wonders in Israel from the LORD of hosts, which dwelleth in mount Zion.

ERVEN : My children and I are signs and proofs for the people of Israel. We have been sent by the Lord All-Powerful, who lives on Mount Zion.

BNV : এবং তারা যদি তোমাকে বলে, “মাধ্যমদের, জ্যোতিষীদের, গণত্‌কার এবং বাজীকরদের প্রশ্ন কর, “লোকদের কি তাদের (নিজেদের) ঈশ্বরকে খোঁজা উচিত্‌ নয়? মৃতদের কাছে কি তারা জীবিতদের সম্পর্কে প্রশ্ন করবে?
KJV : And when they shall say unto you, Seek unto them that have familiar spirits, and unto wizards that peep, and that mutter: should not a people seek unto their God? for the living to the dead?
YLT : And when they say unto you, `Seek unto those having familiar spirits, And unto wizards, who chatter and mutter, Doth not a people seek unto its God? -- For the living unto the dead!
RV : And when they shall say unto you, Seek unto them that have familiar spirits and unto the wizards, that chirp and that mutter: should not a people seek unto their God? on behalf of the living {cf15i should they seek} unto the dead?
RSV : And when they say to you, "Consult the mediums and the wizards who chirp and mutter," should not a people consult their God? Should they consult the dead on behalf of the living?
ASV : And when they shall say unto you, Seek unto them that have familiar spirits and unto the wizards, that chirp and that mutter: should not a people seek unto their God? on behalf of the living should they seek unto the dead?
ESV : And when they say to you, "Inquire of the mediums and the necromancers who chirp and mutter," should not a people inquire of their God? Should they inquire of the dead on behalf of the living?
ERVEN : The people will say, "Go to the fortunetellers and wizards who mumble and chirp like birds. Ask them what to do." But I say, "Shouldn't people go to their God for help? Why go to the dead to get help for the living?"

BNV : শিক্ষামালা এবং চুক্তি তোমাদের মেনে চলা উচিত্‌| তোমরা এই আদেশগুলো না মানলে তোমাদের হয়তো ভুল আদেশ অনুসরণ করতে হবে| গুণীন এবং গণত্‌কারদের কাছ থেকে যে আদেশ উপদেশ আসে সেগুলো ভুল| এর কোন মূল্য নেই| এই আদেশ মেনে চললে তোমাদের কিছু লাভ হবে না|
KJV : To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, [it is] because [there is] no light in them.
YLT : To the law and to the testimony! If not, let them say after this manner, `That there is no dawn to it.`
RV : To the law and to the testimony! if they speak not according to this word, surely there is no morning for them.
RSV : To the teaching and to the testimony! Surely for this word which they speak there is no dawn.

ERVEN : You should follow the teachings and the agreement. I swear, if you follow those other things, there is no future for you.

BNV : তোমরা যদি ভুল, মিথ্যা আদেশ মেনে চল তাহলে দেশে বিপদ এবং দুর্ভির্ক্ষ দেখা দেবে| ক্ষুধার্ত লোক রুদ্ধ হয়ে তাদের রাজা ও তাঁর দেবতাদের শাপ দেবে| তারপর তারা সাহায্যের জন্য ঈশ্বরের খোঁজ করবে|
KJV : And they shall pass through it, hardly bestead and hungry: and it shall come to pass, that when they shall be hungry, they shall fret themselves, and curse their king and their God, and look upward.
YLT : -- And it hath passed over into it, hardened and hungry, And it hath come to pass, That it is hungry, and hath been wroth, And made light of its king, and of its God, And hath looked upwards.
