BNV : ইদোম থেকে কে আসছে? তিনি আসছেন বস্রা শহর থেকে| এবং তাঁর বস্ত্র উজ্জ্বল লাল রঙে রঞ্জিত| তাঁকে তাঁর বস্ত্রে মহিমান্বিত দেখাচ্ছে| তিনি তাঁর মহান ক্ষমতাবলে মাথা উঁচু করে হাঁটছেন| তিনি বলেন, “তোমাদের রক্ষা করার ক্ষমতা আমার আছে এবং আমি সত্য কথা বলব|”
KJV : Who [is] this that cometh from Edom, with dyed garments from Bozrah? this [that is] glorious in his apparel, travelling in the greatness of his strength? I that speak in righteousness, mighty to save.
YLT : `Who [is] this coming from Edom? With dyed garments from Bozrah? This that is honourable in his clothing, Travelling in the abundance of his power?` -- `I, speaking in righteousness, mighty to save.`
RV : Who is this that cometh from Edom, with dyed garments from Bozrah? this that is glorious in his apparel, marching in the greatness of his strength? I that speak in righteousness, mighty to save.
RSV : Who is this that comes from Edom, in crimsoned garments from Bozrah, he that is glorious in his apparel, marching in the greatness of his strength? "It is I, announcing vindication, mighty to save."

ESV : Who is this who comes from Edom, in crimsoned garments from Bozrah, he who is splendid in his apparel, marching in the greatness of his strength? "It is I, speaking in righteousness, mighty to save."
ERVEN : Who is this coming from Edom? Who is this coming from Bozrah? His clothes are stained bright red. He is glorious in his clothes. He is walking tall with his great power. He says, "I have the power to save you, and I speak the truth."

BNV : “কেন আপনার বস্ত্র লাল? দ্রাক্ষাফল থেকে যারা দ্রাক্ষারস বানায় তাদের মত লাল!”
KJV : Wherefore [art thou] red in thine apparel, and thy garments like him that treadeth in the winefat?
YLT : `Wherefore [is] thy clothing red? And thy garments as treading in a wine fat?`

ERVEN : "Why are your clothes bright red? They are like the clothes of someone who tramples grapes to make wine."

BNV : তাঁর জবাব, “আমি দ্রাক্ষারস বানাবার জায়গায়, যেখানে দ্রাক্ষাফল পা দিয়ে চটকিযে রস বের করা হয়, সেখানে হেঁটেছি| আমাকে কেউ সাহায্য করেনি| আমি রুদ্ধ ছিলাম এবং দ্রাক্ষার ওপর দিয়ে হেঁটে যাই| সেই রসআমার কাপড়ের ওপর ছলকে পড়েছিল| তাই এখন আমার বস্ত্র নোংরা|
KJV : I have trodden the winepress alone; and of the people [there was] none with me: for I will tread them in mine anger, and trample them in my fury; and their blood shall be sprinkled upon my garments, and I will stain all my raiment.
YLT : -- `A wine-press I have trodden by myself, And of the peoples there is no one with me, And I tread them in mine anger, And I trample them in my fury, Sprinkled is their strength on my garments, And all my clothing I have polluted.

ERVEN : He answers, "I walked in the winepress by myself. No one helped me. I was angry, and I trampled the grapes. The juice splashed on my clothes, so now they are stained.

BNV : আমি লোককে শাস্তি দিতে একটা সময় বেছে নিয়েছি| এখন আমার লোকদের রক্ষা করার সময় এসেছে|
KJV : For the day of vengeance [is] in mine heart, and the year of my redeemed is come.

ERVEN : I chose a time to punish people. Now the time has come for me to save and protect my people.

BNV : আমি চারি দিকে তাকালাম| কিন্তু আমাকে সাহায্য করার মত কাউকে দেখলাম না| আমি এটা দেখে আশ্চর্য়্য় হয়ে গেলাম যে কেউ আমাকে সমর্থন করল না| তাই আমি আমার লোকদের রক্ষা করতে আমার নিজের ক্ষমতা ব্যবহার করেছিলাম| আমার নিজের রোধ আমাকে সমর্থন করেছিল|
KJV : And I looked, and [there was] none to help; and I wondered that [there was] none to uphold: therefore mine own arm brought salvation unto me; and my fury, it upheld me.

BNV : যখন আমি রুদ্ধ ছিলাম, তখন মানুষের ওপর দিয়ে হেঁটে গিয়েছি| আমি যখন রাগে উন্মত্ত ছিলাম আমি তাদের শাস্তি দিয়েছি এবং তাদের রক্ত মাটিতে ফেলেছি|”
KJV : And I will tread down the people in mine anger, and make them drunk in my fury, and I will bring down their strength to the earth.
YLT : And I tread down peoples in mine anger, And I make them drunk in my fury, And I bring down to earth their strength.

BNV : আমি স্মরণ করব যে প্রভু উদার| আমি তাঁকে প্রশংসা করবার কথা স্মরণ করব| ইস্রায়েলের পরিবারকে প্রভু অনেক ভাল জিনিস দিয়েছেন| প্রভু আমাদের ওপর খুব সদয| প্রভু আমাদের ক্ষমা প্রদর্শন করেছেন|
KJV : I will mention the lovingkindnesses of the LORD, [and] the praises of the LORD, according to all that the LORD hath bestowed on us, and the great goodness toward the house of Israel, which he hath bestowed on them according to his mercies, and according to the multitude of his lovingkindnesses.
YLT : The kind acts of Jehovah I make mention of, The praises of Jehovah, According to all that Jehovah hath done for us, And the abundance of the goodness to the house of Israel, That He hath done for them, According to His mercies, And according to the abundance of His kind acts.

ERVEN : I will remember that the Lord is kind, and I will remember to praise the Lord. He gave many good things to the family of Israel. He has been very kind to us. He has shown us mercy.

BNV : প্রভু বলেন, “এরা সবাই আমার লোক| এরা সত্যই আমার শিশু|” তাই প্রভু এদের রক্ষা করেছেন|
KJV : For he said, Surely they [are] my people, children [that] will not lie: so he was their Saviour.
YLT : And He saith, Only My people they [are], Sons -- they lie not, and He is to them for a saviour.

BNV : তাদের সমস্ত বিপদে, তিনিও তাদের সাথে উদ্বিগ্ন ছিলেন| প্রভু এই সব লোকদের ভালবাসতেন এবং তাদের জন্য দুঃখ বোধ করতেন| তাই প্রভু তাদের রক্ষা করেন| তাই তিনি তাদের রক্ষা করতে তাঁর বিশেষ দূত পাঠিয়েছিলেন| তিনি তাদের উঠিযে বয়ে নিয়ে যান এবং চির কালের জন্য তাঁদের যত্ন নেন|
KJV : In all their affliction he was afflicted, and the angel of his presence saved them: in his love and in his pity he redeemed them; and he bare them, and carried them all the days of old.

ERVEN : The people had many troubles, but the Lord was not against them. He loved them and felt sorry for them, so he saved them. He sent his special angel to save them. He picked them up and carried them, just as he did long ago.

BNV : কিন্তু প্রভু এখনও স্মরণ করেন বহুকাল আগে কি ঘটেছিল| তিনি স্মরণ করেন মোশি ও তাঁর লোকদের| প্রভু সেই এক জন যিনি মানুষকে সমুদ্রের মধ্য দিয়ে নিয়ে এসেছেন| প্রভু তাঁর লোকদের নেতৃত্ব দেবার কাজে মেষপালকদের ব্যবহার করেছেন| কিন্তু মোশির মধ্যে তাঁর আত্মা সঞ্চার কারী প্রভু এখন কোথায়?

ERVEN : Then they remembered what happened long ago. They remembered Moses and those with him. So where is the one who brought them through the sea, along with the shepherds who led his flock? Where is the one who sent his Holy Spirit to live among them?

BNV : প্রভু তাঁর ডান হাত দিয়ে মোশিকে নেতৃত্ব দিয়েছিলেন| প্রভু মানুষকে সমুদ্রের মধ্যে দিয়ে হাঁটার জন্য জলকে দুভাগ করে দেন| এই সব মহত্‌ কাজ করে প্রভু নিজেকে বিখ্যাত করে তোলেন|

BNV : মাঠে বিচরণের সময় গরু যেমন পড়ে যায় না তেমনি সমুদ্রের মধ্য দিয়ে যাওয়ার সময়ও লোকেরা পড়ে যায়নি| লোকদের বিশ্রামস্থলের দিকে প্রভুর আত্মা নিয়ে যায়| সর্বদাই লোকরা সেখানে নিরাপদে ছিল| প্রভু সেই পথেই তাঁর লোকদের নেতৃত্ব দিয়েছেন| আপনি নেতৃত্ব দিয়ে নিজের নামকে চমত্‌কৃত করে তুলেছেন|

BNV : প্রভু, স্বর্গ থেকে নিজে তাকিযে দেখুন| এখন কি ঘটে চলেছে? আপনি স্বর্গস্থিত আপনার পবিত্র আবাস থেকে আমাদের দেখুন| আমাদের প্রতি আপনার সেই গভীর প্রেম কোথায়? আপনার ভিতর থেকে বের হয়ে আসা শক্তিশালী কর্মকাণ্ড কোথায়? আমার জন্য আপনার ক্ষমা কোথায়? আমার থেকে কেন আপনার উদার প্রেম সরিয়ে রেখেছেন?
KJV : Look down from heaven, and behold from the habitation of thy holiness and of thy glory: where [is] thy zeal and thy strength, the sounding of thy bowels and of thy mercies toward me? are they restrained?
YLT : Look attentively from the heavens, And see from Thy holy and beauteous habitation, Where [is] Thy zeal and Thy might? The multitude of Thy bowels and Thy mercies Towards me have refrained themselves.
RV : Look down from heaven, and behold from the habitation of thy holiness and of thy glory: where is thy zeal and thy mighty acts? the yearning of thy bowels and thy compassions are restrained toward me.
RSV : Look down from heaven and see, from thy holy and glorious habitation. Where are thy zeal and thy might? The yearning of thy heart and thy compassion are withheld from me.
ASV : Look down from heaven, and behold from the habitation of thy holiness and of thy glory: where are thy zeal and thy mighty acts? the yearning of thy heart and thy compassions are restrained toward me.
ESV : Look down from heaven and see, from your holy and beautiful habitation. Where are your zeal and your might? The stirring of your inner parts and your compassion are held back from me.
ERVEN : Lord, look down from the heavens. See what is happening now. Look down at us from your great and holy home in heaven. Where is your strong love for us? Where is your compassion? Why are you hiding your kind love from me?

BNV : দেখুন, আপনি আমাদের পিতা! অব্রাহাম আমাদের জানে না| ইস্রায়েল (যাকোব) আমাদের স্বীকার করে না| প্রভু, আপনি আমাদের পিতা! আপনি আমাদের ঈশ্বর যিনি সর্বদা আমাদের রক্ষা করেন|
KJV : Doubtless thou [art] our father, though Abraham be ignorant of us, and Israel acknowledge us not: thou, O LORD, [art] our father, our redeemer; thy name [is] from everlasting.

ERVEN : Look, you are our father! Abraham does not know us. Israel does not recognize us. Lord, you are our father! You are the one who has always saved us!

KJV : O LORD, why hast thou made us to err from thy ways, [and] hardened our heart from thy fear? Return for thy servants’ sake, the tribes of thine inheritance.
YLT : Why causest Thou us to wander, O Jehovah, from Thy ways? Thou hardenest our heart from Thy fear, Turn back for Thy servants` sake, The tribes of Thine inheritance.
RV : O LORD, why dost thou make us to err from thy ways, and hardenest our heart from thy fear? Return for thy servants- sake, the tribes of thine inheritance.
RSV : O LORD, why dost thou make us err from thy ways and harden our heart, so that we fear thee not? Return for the sake of thy servants, the tribes of thy heritage.

ESV : O LORD, why do you make us wander from your ways and harden our heart, so that we fear you not? Return for the sake of your servants, the tribes of your heritage.
ERVEN : Lord, why are you pushing us away from you? Why are you making it hard for us to follow you? Come back to us! We are your servants. Come to us and help us! Our tribes belong to you.

BNV : আপনার পবিত্র লোকরা মাত্র কিছু সময়ের জন্য তাদের জায়গায় বাস করত| তখন আমাদের শএুরা আপনার পবিত্র মন্দিরের ওপর দিয়ে হেঁটে গিয়েছিল|
KJV : The people of thy holiness have possessed [it] but a little while: our adversaries have trodden down thy sanctuary.

BNV : বহু কাল ধরে আমরা সেই লোক ছিলাম যারা আপনার দ্বারা শাসিত ছিলাম না| যাদের আপনার নামে ডাকা হয়নি| কেন আপনি আকাশ ছিন্ন করে নেমে আসেন না? তাহলে পর্বতগুলি আপনার সামনে কাঁপবে|
KJV : We are [thine:] thou never barest rule over them; they were not called by thy name.
YLT : We have been from of old, Thou hast not ruled over them, Not called is Thy name upon them!
RV : We are become as they over whom thou never barest rule; as they that were not called by thy name.
RSV : We have become like those over whom thou hast never ruled, like those who are not called by thy name.
ASV : We are become as they over whom thou never barest rule, as they that were not called by thy name.
ESV : We have become like those over whom you have never ruled, like those who are not called by your name.
ERVEN : Some people don't follow you. They don't wear your name. And we have been like them for a very long time.
