BNV : “তোমাদের মধ্যে যারা ভালো জীবনযাপন করতে এবং ভালো কাজ করতে চেষ্টা কর, যারা প্রভুর কাছে সাহায্যের জন্য যাও, তারা আমার কথা শোন| যে পাথরটা কেটে তোমরা হয়েছিলে, সেই পাথর, তোমাদের পিতা অব্রাহামের কথা চিন্তা কর|
KJV : Hearken to me, ye that follow after righteousness, ye that seek the LORD: look unto the rock [whence] ye are hewn, and to the hole of the pit [whence] ye are digged.
YLT : Hearken unto Me, ye pursuing righteousness, Seeking Jehovah, Look attentively unto the rock -- ye have been hewn, And unto the hole of the pit -- ye have been digged.
RV : Hearken to me, ye that follow after righteousness, ye that seek the LORD: look unto the rock whence ye were hewn, and to the hole of the pit whence ye were digged.
RSV : "Hearken to me, you who pursue deliverance, you who seek the LORD; look to the rock from which you were hewn, and to the quarry from which you were digged.

ESV : "Listen to me, you who pursue righteousness, you who seek the LORD: look to the rock from which you were hewn, and to the quarry from which you were dug.
ERVEN : "Some of you people try hard to live good lives. You go to the Lord for help. Listen to me. You should look at Abraham your father. He is the rock you were cut from.

BNV : অব্রাহামই তোমাদের পিতা, তাঁর দিকে তাকানো উচিত্‌| তোমাদের জন্মদাত্রী মাতা সারার দিকে তাকাও| অব্রাহামকে যখন আমি ডেকেছিলাম তখন সে একা ছিল| তখন আমি তাকে আশীর্বাদ করেছিলাম এবং সে একটি মহান পরিবার শুরু করেছিল| ওর কাছ থেকে বহু লোক এসেছে|”
KJV : Look unto Abraham your father, and unto Sarah [that] bare you: for I called him alone, and blessed him, and increased him.
YLT : Look attentively unto Abraham your father, And unto Sarah -- she bringeth you forth, For -- one -- I have called him, And I bless him, and multiply him.
RV : Look unto Abraham your father, and unto Sarah that bare you: for when he was but one I called him, and I blessed him, and made him many.
RSV : Look to Abraham your father and to Sarah who bore you; for when he was but one I called him, and I blessed him and made him many.

ERVEN : Abraham is your father, so look at him. Look at Sarah, she gave birth to you. Abraham was alone when I called him. Then I blessed him, and he began a great family with many descendants."

BNV : একই ভাবে, প্রভু সিয়োনের ওপরও কৃপা করবেন| সিয়োন ও তার লোকদের তিনি আরাম দেবেন| তিনি সিয়োনের জন্য মহান কাজ করবেন| প্রভু মরুভূমির পরিবর্তন করবেন| মরুভূমি এদনের বাগানের মতো সুন্দর হয়ে উঠবে| সিয়োনের জমি ছিল পরিত্যক্ত কিন্তু তা প্রভুর বাগানের মত হয়ে উঠবে| সেখানকার লোকরা সুখী, খুব সুখী হবে| তারা তাদের আনন্দের বহিঃপ্রকাশ ঘটাবে| তারা ধন্যবাদ ও জয়সূচক গান গাইবে|
KJV : For the LORD shall comfort Zion: he will comfort all her waste places; and he will make her wilderness like Eden, and her desert like the garden of the LORD; joy and gladness shall be found therein, thanksgiving, and the voice of melody.
YLT : For Jehovah hath comforted Zion, He hath comforted all her wastes, And He setteth her wilderness as Eden, And her desert as a garden of Jehovah, Joy, yea, gladness is found in her, Confession, and the voice of song.
RV : For the LORD hath comforted Zion: he hath comforted all her waste places, and hath made her wilderness like Eden, and her desert like the garden of the LORD; joy and gladness shall be found therein, thanksgiving, and the voice of melody.

ERVEN : In the same way, the Lord will bless Zion. He will feel sorry for her and her people, and he will do something great for her. He will turn the desert into a garden. It will be like the garden of Eden. The land was empty, but it will become like the Lord's garden. People there will be very happy. They will sing victory songs to thank God for what he did.

BNV : “আমার লোকরা, আমার কথা শোন! আমার বিধি আমার কাছ থেকে যাবে| আমার বিচার হবে আলোর মত যেগুলো লোকদের দেখাবে কি ভাবে বাঁচতে হয়|
KJV : Hearken unto me, my people; and give ear unto me, O my nation: for a law shall proceed from me, and I will make my judgment to rest for a light of the people.
YLT : Attend unto Me, O My people, And, O My nation, unto Me give ear. For a law from Me goeth out, And My judgment to the light, Peoples I do cause to rest.

ERVEN : "My people, listen to me! My decisions will be like lights showing people how to live.

BNV : স্বর্গের দিকে চোখ মেলো! চারিদিকে চোখ মেলে পৃথিবীকে দেখো! ধোঁযার মেঘের মত আকাশ অদৃশ্য হয়ে যাবে| পুরানো কাপড়ের মত পৃথিবী মূল্যহীন হয়ে যাবে| পৃথিবীতে প্রত্যেকে মারা যাবে, কিন্তু আমার পরিত্রাণ চির কালের জন্য থেকে যাবে| আমার ধার্মিকতা কখনও শেষ হবে না|
KJV : Lift up your eyes to the heavens, and look upon the earth beneath: for the heavens shall vanish away like smoke, and the earth shall wax old like a garment, and they that dwell therein shall die in like manner: but my salvation shall be for ever, and my righteousness shall not be abolished.
YLT : Lift ye up to the heavens your eyes, And look attentively unto the earth beneath, For the heavens as smoke have vanished, And the earth as a garment weareth out, And its inhabitants as gnats do die, And My salvation is to the age, And My righteousness is not broken.

ERVEN : Look up to the heavens! Look around you at the earth below! The skies will disappear like clouds of smoke. The earth will become like worthless old clothes. The people on earth will die, but my salvation will continue forever. My goodness will never end.

BNV : তোমরা যারা ধার্মিকতা বোঝ তাদের আমার কথা শুনতে হবে| লোকরা, যাদের হৃদয়ে আমার বিধি রাখা আছে, আমার কথা তাদের শুনতে হবে| যারা তোমাদের বিরোধীতা করে সেই খারাপ লোকদের তোমরা ভয় পেযো না| অভিশাপ পেয়ে ভয় পেযো না|
KJV : Hearken unto me, ye that know righteousness, the people in whose heart [is] my law; fear ye not the reproach of men, neither be ye afraid of their revilings.
YLT : Hearken unto Me, ye who know righteousness, A people, in whose heart [is] My law, Fear ye not the reproach of men, And for their reviling be not affrighted,
RV : Hearken unto me, ye that know righteousness, the people in whose heart is my law; fear ye not the reproach of men, neither be ye dismayed at their revilings.

BNV : কেন? কারণ তাদের দশা হবে পুরানো কাপড়ের মতো| তাদের পোকামাকড় খেয়ে নেবে| তাদের পশমের মতো দশা হবে, কৃমি তাদের খেয়ে নেবে| কিন্তু আমার ধার্মিকতা চির কালের জন্য থেকে যাবে| চির কাল থাকবে পরিত্রাণ, চিরকাল করে যাব পরিত্রাণ|”
KJV : For the moth shall eat them up like a garment, and the worm shall eat them like wool: but my righteousness shall be for ever, and my salvation from generation to generation.
YLT : For as a garment eat them doth a moth, And as wool eat them doth a worm, And My righteousness is to the age, And My salvation to all generations.

BNV : প্রভুর বাহু (শক্তি) জেগে ওঠো| জেগে ওঠো! শক্ত হও! বহুদিন আগেকার মত, প্রাচীন কালের মতো তোমার শক্তি ব্যবহার কর| তুমি হচ্ছো সেই শক্তি যে রহবকে পরাজিত করেছিল| তুমি সেই প্রকাণ্ড জলচরকে পরাস্ত করেছিলে|
KJV : Awake, awake, put on strength, O arm of the LORD; awake, as in the ancient days, in the generations of old. [Art] thou not it that hath cut Rahab, [and] wounded the dragon?
YLT : Awake, awake, put on strength, O arm of Jehovah, Awake, as [in] days of old, generations of the ages, Art not Thou it that is hewing down Rahab, Piercing a dragon!

ERVEN : Wake up! Wake up! Arm of the Lord, clothe yourself with strength. Show your power the way you did long ago, as you have from ancient times. You are the one who destroyed Rahab. You defeated the Dragon.

BNV : সমুদ্র শুকিয়ে যাবার কারণ হয়েছিলে তুমি! তুমি গভীর জলাশযে জল শুকিয়ে দিয়েছিলে! সমুদ্রের অতলে পথ গড়ে উঠেছিল তোমার জন্যই! তোমার লোকরা নিরাপদে সমুদ্র পারাপার করেছিল|
KJV : [Art] thou not it which hath dried the sea, the waters of the great deep; that hath made the depths of the sea a way for the ransomed to pass over?
YLT : Art not Thou it that is drying up a sea, Waters of a great deep? That hath made deep places of a sea A way for the passing of the redeemed?
RV : Art thou not it which dried up the sea, the waters of the great deep; that made the depths of the sea a way for the redeemed to pass over?
RSV : Was it not thou that didst dry up the sea, the waters of the great deep; that didst make the depths of the sea a way for the redeemed to pass over?
ASV : Is it not thou that driedst up the sea, the waters of the great deep; that madest the depths of the sea a way for the redeemed to pass over?
ESV : Was it not you who dried up the sea, the waters of the great deep, who made the depths of the sea a way for the redeemed to pass over?
ERVEN : You dried up the water that was in the deep sea. You made a road through the deepest parts of the sea. Your people crossed over and were saved.

BNV : প্রভু নিজের লোকদের রক্ষা করবেন, তারা আনন্দের সাথে সিয়োনে ফিরে যাবে| তারা খুব, খুব সুখী হবে| তাদের সুখ হবে চিরকালীন রাজমুকুটের মত| তারা আনন্দে গান গাইতে থাকবে| সব দুঃখ চলে যাবে অনেক দূরে|
KJV : Therefore the redeemed of the LORD shall return, and come with singing unto Zion; and everlasting joy [shall be] upon their head: they shall obtain gladness and joy; [and] sorrow and mourning shall flee away.
YLT : And the ransomed of Jehovah turn back, And they have come to Zion with singing, And joy age-during [is] on their head, Gladness and joy they attain, Fled away have sorrow and sighing,
RV : And the ransomed of the LORD shall return, and come with singing unto Zion; and everlasting joy shall be upon their heads: they shall obtain gladness and joy, {cf15i and} sorrow and sighing shall flee away.

ERVEN : The Lord will save his people. They will return to Zion with joy. They will be very happy. Their happiness will be like a crown on their heads forever. They will be singing with joy. All sadness will be gone far away.

BNV : প্রভু বলেন, “আমিই সে-ই যে তোমাদের আরাম দেয়| তবুও তোমরা কেন লোকের ভয়ে ভীত হয়ে ওঠ? তারা তো শুধু মাত্র মানুষ যাদের জন্ম মৃত্যু আছে| তারা তো কেবলই মানুষ- ঘাসের মতোই মরে তারা|”
KJV : I, [even] I, [am] he that comforteth you: who [art] thou, that thou shouldest be afraid of a man [that] shall die, and of the son of man [which] shall be made as grass;
YLT : I -- I [am] He -- your comforter, Who [art] thou -- and thou art afraid of man? he dieth! And of the son of man -- grass he is made!
RV : I, even I, am he that comforteth you: who art thou, that thou art afraid of man that shall die, and of the son of man which shall be made as grass;
RSV : "I, I am he that comforts you; who are you that you are afraid of man who dies, of the son of man who is made like grass,
ASV : I, even I, am he that comforteth you: who art thou, that thou art afraid of man that shall die, and of the son of man that shall be made as grass;
ESV : "I, I am he who comforts you; who are you that you are afraid of man who dies, of the son of man who is made like grass,
ERVEN : The Lord says, "I am the one who comforts you. So why should you be afraid of people? They are only humans who live and die like the grass."

BNV : প্রভু হলেন তোমাদের সৃষ্টিকর্তা| নিজের ক্ষমতায তিনি পৃথিবী সৃষ্টি করেছেন| নিজের ক্ষমতাতেই তিনি আকাশের সৃষ্টি করেছেন| কিন্তু তোমরা প্রভু ও তাঁর ক্ষমতার কথা ভুলে গিয়েছ| তাই তোমরা সেই রুদ্ধ লোকদের ভয় পাও| তাদের পরিকল্পনা হল তোমাদের বিনাশ করা, কিন্তু তারা এখন কোথায় রয়েছে?
KJV : And forgettest the LORD thy maker, that hath stretched forth the heavens, and laid the foundations of the earth; and hast feared continually every day because of the fury of the oppressor, as if he were ready to destroy? and where [is] the fury of the oppressor?
YLT : And thou dost forget Jehovah thy maker, Who is stretching out the heavens, and founding earth, And thou dost fear continually all the day, Because of the fury of the oppressor, As he hath prepared to destroy. And where [is] the fury of the oppressor?
RV : and hast forgotten the LORD thy Maker, that stretched forth the heavens, and laid the foundations of the earth; and fearest continually all the day because of the fury of the oppressor, when he maketh ready to destroy? and where is the fury of the oppressor?
RSV : and have forgotten the LORD, your Maker, who stretched out the heavens and laid the foundations of the earth, and fear continually all the day because of the fury of the oppressor, when he sets himself to destroy? And where is the fury of the oppressor?
ASV : and hast forgotten Jehovah thy Maker, that stretched forth the heavens, and laid the foundations of the earth; and fearest continually all the day because of the fury of the oppressor, when he maketh ready to destroy? and where is the fury of the oppressor?
ESV : and have forgotten the LORD, your Maker, who stretched out the heavens and laid the foundations of the earth, and you fear continually all the day because of the wrath of the oppressor, when he sets himself to destroy? And where is the wrath of the oppressor?
ERVEN : The Lord made you. With his power he made the earth and spread the sky over the earth. But you forgot him, so you are always afraid that angry men will hurt you. Those men planned to destroy you, but where are they now?

BNV : কয়েদের ভিতরে যেসব লোক ছিল তারা মুক্ত হবে| তারা মরবে না, তবে কারাগারে পচবে| তাদের জন্য থাকবে যথেষ্ট খাবার|
KJV : The captive exile hasteneth that he may be loosed, and that he should not die in the pit, nor that his bread should fail.
YLT : Hastened hath a wanderer to be loosed, And he doth not die at the pit, And his bread is not lacking.
RV : The captive exile shall speedily be loosed; and he shall not die {cf15i and go down} into the pit, neither shall his bread fail.

ERVEN : People in prison will soon be made free. They will not die and rot in prison. They will have plenty of food.

BNV : “আমি প্রভু, তোমাদের ঈশ্বর| আমি সমুদ্রে নাড়া দিই এবং ঢেউ তৈরী করি|” (প্রভু সর্বশক্তিমান তাঁর নাম|)
KJV : But I [am] the LORD thy God, that divided the sea, whose waves roared: The LORD of hosts [is] his name.
YLT : And I [am] Jehovah thy God, Quieting the sea, when its billows roar, Jehovah of Hosts [is] His name.
RV : For I am the LORD thy God, which stirreth up the sea, that the waves thereof roar: the LORD of hosts is his name.

BNV : “আমার দাসগণ, যে কথা আমি তোমাদের বলতে চাই, সেই কথাগুলো আমি তোমাদের দেব| আমি তোমাদের আমার নিজের হাত দিয়ে আড়াল করবো এবং তোমাদের নিরাপত্তা দেব| আমি স্বর্গের পরিধি বাড়াতে এবং পৃথিবীর ভিত বানাতে তোমাদের ব্যবহার করব| ‘তোমরা আমারই লোক”‘ একথা সিয়োনকে বলবার জন্য আমি তোমাদের ব্যবহার করব|
KJV : And I have put my words in thy mouth, and I have covered thee in the shadow of mine hand, that I may plant the heavens, and lay the foundations of the earth, and say unto Zion, Thou [art] my people.
YLT : And I put My words in thy mouth, And with the shadow of My hand have covered thee, To plant the heavens, and to found earth, And to say to Zion, `My people [art] thou.`
RV : And I have put my words in thy mouth, and have covered thee in the shadow of mine hand, that I may plant the heavens, and lay the foundations of the earth, and say unto Zion, Thou art my people.
RSV : And I have put my words in your mouth, and hid you in the shadow of my hand, stretching out the heavens and laying the foundations of the earth, and saying to Zion, `You are my people.'"

ESV : And I have put my words in your mouth and covered you in the shadow of my hand, establishing the heavens and laying the foundations of the earth, and saying to Zion, 'You are my people.'"
ERVEN : "My servant, I gave you the words I want you to say, and I covered you with my hands to protect you. I did this to make a new heaven and earth and so that you would say to Israel, 'You are my people.'"

KJV : These two [things] are come unto thee; who shall be sorry for thee? desolation, and destruction, and the famine, and the sword: by whom shall I comfort thee?

ERVEN : Your people became weak. They fell on the ground and lay there. They were lying on every street corner, like animals caught in a net. They were punished by the Lord's anger until they could not accept any more punishment. When God said he would give them more punishment, they became very weak.
