BNV : ইসহাক ক্রমশঃ বৃদ্ধ হলেন, ক্ষীণ হল তাঁর দৃষ্টিশক্তি - আর কিছু ভাল দেখতে পান না| একদিন তিনি বড় পুত্রকে ডাকলেন, “এষৌ!”এষৌ উত্তর দিল, “আমি এখানে|”
KJV : And it came to pass, that when Isaac was old, and his eyes were dim, so that he could not see, he called Esau his eldest son, and said unto him, My son: and he said unto him, Behold, [here am] I.
YLT : And it cometh to pass that Isaac [is] aged, and his eyes are too dim for seeing, and he calleth Esau his elder son, and saith unto him, `My son;` and he saith unto him, `Here [am] I.`
RV : And it came to pass, that when Isaac was old, and his eyes were dim, so that he could not see, he called Esau his elder son, and said unto him, My son: and he said unto him, Here am I.
RSV : When Isaac was old and his eyes were dim so that he could not see, he called Esau his older son, and said to him, "My son"; and he answered, "Here I am."
ASV : And it came to pass, that when Isaac was old, and his eyes were dim, so that he could not see, he called Esau his elder son, and said unto him, My son. And he said unto him, Here am I.
ESV : When Isaac was old and his eyes were dim so that he could not see, he called Esau his older son and said to him, "My son"; and he answered, "Here I am."
ERVEN : Isaac grew old, and his eyes became so weak that he could not see clearly. One day he called his older son Esau to him and said, "Son!" Esau answered, "Here I am."

BNV : ইসহাক বললেন, “আমি বৃদ্ধ হয়েছি| শীঘ্রই মারাও য়েতে পারি|
KJV : And he said, Behold now, I am old, I know not the day of my death:
YLT : And he saith, `Lo, I pray thee, I have become aged, I have not known the day of my death;
RV : And he said, Behold now, I am old, I know not the day of my death.
RSV : He said, "Behold, I am old; I do not know the day of my death.
ASV : And he said, Behold now, I am old, I know not the day of my death.

ERVEN : Isaac said, "I am old. Maybe I will die soon.

BNV : তাই তোমার তীরধনুক নিয়ে শিকারে যাও| আমার খাওয়ার জন্যে একটা কিছু শিকার করে আনো|
KJV : Now therefore take, I pray thee, thy weapons, thy quiver and thy bow, and go out to the field, and take me [some] venison;
YLT : and now, take up, I pray thee, thy instruments, thy quiver, and thy bow, and go out to the field, and hunt for me provision,
RV : Now therefore take, I pray thee, thy weapons, thy quiver and thy bow, and go out to the field, and take me venison;
RSV : Now then, take your weapons, your quiver and your bow, and go out to the field, and hunt game for me,

BNV : আমি ভালবাসি এখন কোনও খাবার তৈরী কর| আমায় খাবার এনে দাও, আমি খাই| মৃত্যুর আগে তোমায় আশীর্বাদ করে যাই|”
KJV : And make me savoury meat, such as I love, and bring [it] to me, that I may eat; that my soul may bless thee before I die.
YLT : and make for me tasteful things, [such] as I have loved, and bring in to me, and I do eat, so that my soul doth bless thee before I die.`
RV : and make me savoury meat, such as I love, and bring it to me, that I may eat; that my soul may bless thee before I die.

BNV : তখন এষৌ শিকার করতে বেরিয়ে গেল|এসব কথা ইসহাক যখন এষৌকে বলছিলেন তখন রিবিকা সব শুনছিলেন|
KJV : And Rebekah heard when Isaac spake to Esau his son. And Esau went to the field to hunt [for] venison, [and] to bring [it.]
YLT : And Rebekah is hearkening while Isaac is speaking unto Esau his son; and Esau goeth to the field to hunt provision -- to bring in;
RV : And Rebekah heard when Isaac spake to Esau his son. And Esau went to the field to hunt for venison, and to bring it.
RSV : Now Rebekah was listening when Isaac spoke to his son Esau. So when Esau went to the field to hunt for game and bring it,

BNV : রিবিকা তাঁর প্রিয পুত্র যাকোবকে বলল, “শোন, তোমার পিতা তোমার ভাই এষৌকে কি বলছিলেন সব শুনেছি|
KJV : And Rebekah spake unto Jacob her son, saying, Behold, I heard thy father speak unto Esau thy brother, saying,
YLT : and Rebekah hath spoken unto Jacob her son, saying, `Lo, I have heard thy father speaking unto Esau thy brother, saying,

BNV : তোমার পিতা বললেন, ‘আমার খাওয়ার জন্যে একটা জানোয়ার শিকার করে আনো| আমায় রেঁধে দাও, আমি খাই| তাহলে আমি মৃত্যুর আগে তোমায় আশীর্বাদ করব|”
KJV : Bring me venison, and make me savoury meat, that I may eat, and bless thee before the LORD before my death.
YLT : Bring for me provision, and make for me tasteful things, and I do eat, and bless thee before Jehovah before my death.

BNV : এখন শোন বাবা, আমি যা বলি তা করো|
KJV : Now therefore, my son, obey my voice according to that which I command thee.
YLT : `And now, my son, hearken to my voice, to that which I am commanding thee:
RV : Now therefore, my son, obey my voice according to that which I command thee.
RSV : Now therefore, my son, obey my word as I command you.
ASV : Now therefore, my son, obey my voice according to that which I command thee.

BNV : আমাদের ছাগলের খোঁযাড়ে যাও, দুটো ছাগল ছানা নিয়ে এস| তোমার পিতা য়েমন মাংস খেতে ভালবাসে তেমন করে আমি রেঁধে দেব|
KJV : Go now to the flock, and fetch me from thence two good kids of the goats; and I will make them savoury meat for thy father, such as he loveth:
YLT : Go, I pray thee, unto the flock, and take for me from thence two good kids of the goats, and I make them tasteful things for thy father, [such] as he hath loved;
RV : Go now to the flock, and fetch me from thence two good kids of the goats; and I will make them savoury meat for thy father, such as he loveth:
RSV : Go to the flock, and fetch me two good kids, that I may prepare from them savory food for your father, such as he loves;

BNV : তারপর সেই খাবার পিতার কাছে নিয়ে যাবে| মৃত্যুর আগে তিনি তোমায় আশীর্বাদ করবেন|”
KJV : And thou shalt bring [it] to thy father, that he may eat, and that he may bless thee before his death.
YLT : and thou hast taken in to thy father, and he hath eaten, so that his soul doth bless thee before his death.
RV : and thou shalt bring it to thy father, that he may eat, so that he may bless thee before his death.
RSV : and you shall bring it to your father to eat, so that he may bless you before he dies."

BNV : কিন্তু যাকোব মা রিবিকাকে বলল, “আমার ভাযের গা ভর্তি লোম| কিন্তু আমার শরীরের ত্বক মসৃণ|
KJV : And Jacob said to Rebekah his mother, Behold, Esau my brother [is] a hairy man, and I [am] a smooth man:
YLT : And Jacob saith unto Rebekah his mother, `Lo, Esau my brother [is] a hairy man, and I a smooth man,
RV : And Jacob said to Rebekah his mother, Behold, Esau my brother is a hairy man, and I am a smooth man.

BNV : পিতা আমায় ছুঁলেই টের পাবেন য়ে আমি এষৌ নই| তাহলে পিতা আমায় আশীর্বাদ দেবেন না| বরং অভিশাপ দেবেন| কেন? কেননা আমি তাঁর সঙ্গে চালাকি করতে গিয়েছিলাম|”
KJV : My father peradventure will feel me, and I shall seem to him as a deceiver; and I shall bring a curse upon me, and not a blessing.
YLT : it may be my father doth feel me, and I have been in his eyes as a deceiver, and have brought upon me disesteem, and not a blessing;`
RV : My father peradventure will feel me, and I shall seem to him as a deceiver; and I shall bring a curse upon me, and not a blessing.
RSV : Perhaps my father will feel me, and I shall seem to be mocking him, and bring a curse upon myself and not a blessing."

ERVEN : If my father touches me, he will know that I am not Esau. Then he will not bless me—he will curse me because I tried to trick him."

BNV : সুতরাং রিবিকা তাকে বলল, “যদি তিনি অভিশাপ দেন তবে তা আমার ওপর আসুক| আমি য়েমন বলছি তেমনটি করো| যাও, আমার জন্য ছাগল নিয়ে এস|”
KJV : And his mother said unto him, Upon me [be] thy curse, my son: only obey my voice, and go fetch me [them. ]
YLT : and his mother saith to him, `On me thy disesteem, my son; only hearken to my voice, and go, take for me.`
RV : And his mother said unto him, Upon me be thy curse, my son: only obey my voice, and go fetch me them.
RSV : His mother said to him, "Upon me be your curse, my son; only obey my word, and go, fetch them to me."
ASV : And his mother said unto him, Upon me be thy curse, my son. Only obey my voice, and go fetch me them.
ESV : His mother said to him, "Let your curse be on me, my son; only obey my voice, and go, bring them to me."
ERVEN : So Rebekah said to him, "I will accept the blame if there is trouble. Do what I said. Go get the goats for me."

BNV : তখন যাকোব দুটো ছাগল নিয়ে এসে তার মাকে সেগুলি দিল| তার মা ঠিক য়েভাবে ইসহাক খেতে ভালবাসেন সেই বিশেষ ভাবে ছাগল দুটো রান্না করলেন|
KJV : And he went, and fetched, and brought [them] to his mother: and his mother made savoury meat, such as his father loved.
YLT : And he goeth, and taketh, and bringeth to his mother, and his mother maketh tasteful things, [such] as his father hath loved;
RV : And he went, and fetched, and brought them to his mother: and his mother made savoury meat, such as his father loved.
RSV : So he went and took them and brought them to his mother; and his mother prepared savory food, such as his father loved.

BNV : তারপর রিবিকা বড় পুত্র এষৌর প্রিয জামাকাপড় নিলেন|
KJV : And Rebekah took goodly raiment of her eldest son Esau, which [were] with her in the house, and put them upon Jacob her younger son:
YLT : and Rebekah taketh the desirable garments of Esau her elder son, which [are] with her in the house, and doth put on Jacob her younger son;
RV : And Rebekah took the goodly raiment of Esau her elder son, which were with her in the house, and put them upon Jacob her younger son:

BNV : আর যাকোবের হাতে ও গলায লাগিয়ে দিলেন ছাগলের চামড়া|
KJV : And she put the skins of the kids of the goats upon his hands, and upon the smooth of his neck:
YLT : and the skins of the kids of the goats she hath put on his hands, and on the smooth of his neck,
RV : and she put the skins of the kids of the goats upon his hands, and upon the smooth of his neck:
RSV : and the skins of the kids she put upon his hands and upon the smooth part of his neck;

ERVEN : She took the skins of the goats and put them on Jacob's hands and on his neck.

BNV : তারপর রিবিকা সেই রান্না করা মাংস নিয়ে এসে যাকোবকে দিলেন|
KJV : And she gave the savoury meat and the bread, which she had prepared, into the hand of her son Jacob.
YLT : and she giveth the tasteful things, and the bread which she hath made, into the hand of Jacob her son.
RV : and she gave the savoury meat and the bread, which she had prepared, into the hand of her son Jacob.
RSV : and she gave the savory food and the bread, which she had prepared, into the hand of her son Jacob.

BNV : যাকোব পিতার কাছে গিয়ে ডাকল, “পিতা|”তার পিতা সাড়া দিলেন, “তুমি কে বাবা?”
KJV : And he came unto his father, and said, My father: and he said, Here [am] I; who [art] thou, my son?
YLT : And he cometh in unto his father, and saith, `My father;` and he saith, `Here [am] I; who [art] thou, my son?`
RV : And he came unto his father, and said, My father: and he said, Here am I; who art thou, my son?
RSV : So he went in to his father, and said, "My father"; and he said, "Here I am; who are you, my son?"

ERVEN : Jacob went to his father and said, "Father." His father answered, "Yes, son. Who are you?"

BNV : যাকোব বলল, “আমি তোমার বড় পুত্র এষৌ| তুমি য়েমন বলেছিলে আমি সব তেমনভাবে করে এনেছি| এখন উঠে বসো, তোমার জন্যে যা শিকার করেছি, খাও আগে| আমায় পরে আশীর্বাদ কোরো|”
KJV : And Jacob said unto his father, I [am] Esau thy firstborn; I have done according as thou badest me: arise, I pray thee, sit and eat of my venison, that thy soul may bless me.
YLT : And Jacob saith unto his father, `I [am] Esau thy first-born; I have done as thou hast spoken unto me; rise, I pray thee, sit, and eat of my provision, so that thy soul doth bless me.`
RV : And Jacob said unto his father, I am Esau thy firstborn; I have done according as thou badest me: arise, I pray thee, sit and eat of my venison, that thy soul may bless me.

ERVEN : Jacob said to his father, "I am Esau, your first son. I have done what you told me. Now sit up and eat the meat from the animals that I hunted for you. Then you can bless me."

BNV : কিন্তু ইস্ হাক তাঁর পুত্রকে জিজ্ঞেস করলেন, “তুমি কি করে এত তাড়াতাড়ি জানোয়ার শিকার করলে?”যাকোব উত্তর দিল, “কারণ প্রভু, তোমার ঈশ্বর আমাকে জানোয়ারগুলি তাড়াতাড়ি খুঁজে পেতে সাহায্য করেছেন|”
KJV : And Isaac said unto his son, How [is it] that thou hast found [it] so quickly, my son? And he said, Because the LORD thy God brought [it] to me.
YLT : And Isaac saith unto his son, `What [is] this thou hast hasted to find, my son?` and he saith, `That which Jehovah thy God hath caused to come before me.`
RV : And Isaac said unto his son, How is it that thou hast found it so quickly, my son? And he said, Because the LORD thy God sent me good speed.
RSV : But Isaac said to his son, "How is it that you have found it so quickly, my son?" He answered, "Because the LORD your God granted me success."
ASV : And Isaac said unto his son, How is it that thou hast found it so quickly, my son? And he said, Because Jehovah thy God sent me good speed.
ESV : But Isaac said to his son, "How is it that you have found it so quickly, my son?" He answered, "Because the LORD your God granted me success."
ERVEN : But Isaac said to his son, "How have you hunted and killed the animals so quickly?" Jacob answered, "Because the Lord your God allowed me to find the animals quickly."

BNV : তখন ইসহাক যাকোবকে বললেন, “কাছে এস, বাবা আমি তোমায় ছুঁযে দেখি, তুমি সত্যিই আমার পুত্র এষৌ কিনা|”
KJV : And Isaac said unto Jacob, Come near, I pray thee, that I may feel thee, my son, whether thou [be] my very son Esau or not.
YLT : And Isaac saith unto Jacob, `Come nigh, I pray thee, and I feel thee, my son, whether thou [art] he, my son Esau, or not.`
RV : And Isaac said unto Jacob, Come near, I pray thee, that I may feel thee, my son, whether thou be my very son Esau or not.
RSV : Then Isaac said to Jacob, "Come near, that I may feel you, my son, to know whether you are really my son Esau or not."
ASV : And Isaac said unto Jacob, Come near, I pray thee, that I may feel thee, my son, whether thou be my very son Esau or not.
ESV : Then Isaac said to Jacob, "Please come near, that I may feel you, my son, to know whether you are really my son Esau or not."
ERVEN : Then Isaac said to Jacob, "Come near to me so that I can feel you, my son. If I can feel you, I will know if you are really my son Esau."

BNV : সুতরাং যাকোব তার পিতা ইসহাকের কাছে গেল| ইসহাক তার গায়ে হাত বুলিযে বলল, “তোমার গলার স্বর যাকোবের মত শোনাচ্ছে, কিন্তু তোমার হাত এষৌর মত লোমশ|”
KJV : And Jacob went near unto Isaac his father; and he felt him, and said, The voice [is] Jacob’s voice, but the hands [are] the hands of Esau.
YLT : And Jacob cometh nigh unto Isaac his father, and he feeleth him, and saith, `The voice [is] the voice of Jacob, and the hands hands of Esau.`
RV : And Jacob went near unto Isaac his father; and he felt him, and said, The voice is Jacob-s voice, but the hands are the hands of Esau.
RSV : So Jacob went near to Isaac his father, who felt him and said, "The voice is Jacob's voice, but the hands are the hands of Esau."
ASV : And Jacob went near unto Isaac his father. And he felt him, and said, The voice is Jacobs voice, but the hands are the hands of Esau.

ERVEN : So Jacob went to Isaac his father. Isaac felt him and said, "Your voice sounds like Jacob's voice, but your arms are hairy like the arms of Esau."

BNV : ইসহাক বুঝতে পারলেন না য়ে এ আসলে যাকোব| কারণ তার হাত এষৌর হাতের মতোই লোমশ| সুতরাং ইসহাক যাকোবকে আশীর্বাদ করলেন|
KJV : And he discerned him not, because his hands were hairy, as his brother Esau’s hands: so he blessed him.
YLT : And he hath not discerned him, for his hands have been hairy, as the hands of Esau his brother, and he blesseth him,
RV : And he discerned him not, because his hands were hairy, as his brother Esau-s hands: so he blessed him.
RSV : And he did not recognize him, because his hands were hairy like his brother Esau's hands; so he blessed him.
ASV : And he discerned him not, because his hands were hairy, as his brother Esaus hands. So he blessed him.

ERVEN : Isaac did not know it was Jacob, because his arms were hairy like Esau's. So Isaac blessed Jacob.

BNV : ইসহাক নিঃসন্দেহ হবার জন্যে আবার জিজ্ঞেস করল, “তুমি সত্যিই আমার পুত্র এষৌ তো?” যাকোব উত্তর দিল, “হ্যাঁ, পিতা, আমিই এষৌ|”
KJV : And he said, [Art] thou my very son Esau? And he said, I [am. ]
YLT : and saith, `Thou art he -- my son Esau?` and he saith, `I [am].`
RV : And he said, Art thou my very son Esau? And he said, I am.
RSV : He said, "Are you really my son Esau?" He answered, "I am."
ASV : And he said, Art thou my very son Esau? And he said, I am.
ESV : He said, "Are you really my son Esau?" He answered, "I am."
ERVEN : Isaac said, "Are you really my son Esau?" Jacob answered, "Yes, I am."

BNV : তখন ইসহাক বললেন, “আমাকে আমার পুত্রের শিকার করা পশুগুলির থেকে খাবার এনে দাও| আমি সেটা খেয়ে তোমায় আশীর্বাদ করবো|” তখন যাকোব খাবারটা দিল এবং ইসহাক তা খেলেন| তারপর যাকোব কিছু দ্রাক্ষারস দিলে ইসহাক তা পান করলেন|
KJV : And he said, Bring [it] near to me, and I will eat of my son’s venison, that my soul may bless thee. And he brought [it] near to him, and he did eat: and he brought him wine, and he drank.
YLT : And he saith, `Bring nigh to me, and I do eat of my son`s provision, so that my soul doth bless thee;` and he bringeth nigh to him, and he eateth; and he bringeth to him wine, and he drinketh.

YLT : and thou hast dwelt with him some days, till thy brother`s fury turn back,
RV : and tarry with him a few days, until thy brother-s fury turn away;
RSV : and stay with him a while, until your brother's fury turns away;

ESV : and stay with him a while, until your brother's fury turns away-
ERVEN : Stay with him for a short time until your brother stops being angry.

BNV : কিছুদিন পরে তোমার ভাই, তুমি তার প্রতি কি করেছ না করেছ সব ভুলে যাবে| তখন আমি তোমায় ফিরিযে আনার জন্যে একটি ভৃত্য পাঠাব| আমি একই দিনে আমার দু পুত্রকে হারাতে চাই না|”
KJV : Until thy brother’s anger turn away from thee, and he forget [that] which thou hast done to him: then I will send, and fetch thee from thence: why should I be deprived also of you both in one day?
YLT : till thy brother`s anger turn back from thee, and he hath forgotten that which thou hast done to him, and I have sent and taken thee from thence; why am I bereaved even of you both the same day?`
RV : until thy brother-s anger turn away from thee, and he forget that which thou hast done to him: then I will send, and fetch thee from thence: why should I be bereaved of you both in one day?
RSV : until your brother's anger turns away, and he forgets what you have done to him; then I will send, and fetch you from there. Why should I be bereft of you both in one day?"
ASV : Until thy brothers anger turn away from thee, and he forget that which thou hast done to him. Then I will send, and fetch thee from thence. Why should I be bereaved of you both in one day?
ESV : until your brother's anger turns away from you, and he forgets what you have done to him. Then I will send and bring you from there. Why should I be bereft of you both in one day?"
ERVEN : When your brother forgets what you did to him, I will send a servant to bring you back. I don't want to lose both of my sons on the same day."

BNV : তারপর রিবিকা ইসহাককে বললেন, “তোমার পুত্র এষৌ হিত্তীয়দের কন্যাকে বিয়ে করেছে| এ আমার মোটে ভাল লাগে নি| কেননা তারা আমাদের আপনজন নয়| যাকোবও যদি ঐ মেয়েদের কাউকে বিয়ে করে তাহলে আমি নির্ঘাত মারা যাব|”
KJV : And Rebekah said to Isaac, I am weary of my life because of the daughters of Heth: if Jacob take a wife of the daughters of Heth, such as these [which are] of the daughters of the land, what good shall my life do me?
YLT : And Rebekah saith unto Isaac, `I have been disgusted with my life because of the presence of the daughters of Heth; if Jacob take a wife of the daughters of Heth, like these -- from the daughters of the land -- why do I live?`
RV : And Rebekah said to Isaac, I am weary of my life because of the daughters of Heth: if Jacob take a wife of the daughters of Heth, such as these, of the daughters of the land, what good shall my life do me?
RSV : Then Rebekah said to Isaac, "I am weary of my life because of the Hittite women. If Jacob marries one of the Hittite women such as these, one of the women of the land, what good will my life be to me?"
ASV : And Rebekah said to Isaac, I am weary of my life because of the daughters of Heth. If Jacob take a wife of the daughters of Heth, such as these, of the daughters of the land, what good shall my life do me?
ESV : Then Rebekah said to Isaac, "I loathe my life because of the Hittite women. If Jacob marries one of the Hittite women like these, one of the women of the land, what good will my life be to me?"
ERVEN : Then Rebekah said to Isaac, "Your son Esau married Hittite women. I am very upset about this, because they are not our people. I'll have nothing to live for if Jacob marries one of these women!"
