BNV : প্রভু অব্রামকে বললেন, “তুমি এই দেশ, নিজের জাতিকুটুম্ব এবং পিতার পরিবার ত্যাগ করে, আমি য়ে দেশের পথ দেখাব সেই দেশে চল|
KJV : Now the LORD had said unto Abram, Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father’s house, unto a land that I will shew thee:
YLT : And Jehovah saith unto Abram, `Go for thyself, from thy land, and from thy kindred, and from the house of thy father, unto the land which I shew thee.
RV : Now the LORD said unto Abram, Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father-s house, unto the land that I will shew thee:

BNV : তোমা হতে আমি এক মহাজাতি উত্পন্ন করব| তোমাকে আশীষ দেব এবং তুমি বিখ্যাত হবে| অন্যকে আশীর্বাদ জানাতে লোকে তোমার নাম নেবে|
KJV : And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing:
YLT : And I make thee become a great nation, and bless thee, and make thy name great; and be thou a blessing.

ERVEN : I will build a great nation from you. I will bless you and make your name famous. People will use your name to bless other people.

BNV : যারা তোমাকে আশীর্বাদ করবে, সেই লোকেদের আমি আশীর্বাদ করব এবং যারা তোমাকে অভিশাপ দেবে, সেই লোকেদের আমি অভিশাপ দেব| তোমার মাধ্যমে আমি পৃথিবীর সব লোকেদের আশীর্বাদ করব|”
KJV : And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.
YLT : And I bless those blessing thee, and him who is disesteeming thee I curse, and blessed in thee have been all families of the ground.`

BNV : অতঃপর অব্রাম প্রভুর আজ্ঞা পালন করলেন| তিনি হারণ ত্যাগ করলেন এবং লোট তাঁর সঙ্গে গেলেন| অব্রামের বয়স তখন 75 বছর|
KJV : So Abram departed, as the LORD had spoken unto him; and Lot went with him: and Abram [was] seventy and five years old when he departed out of Haran.
YLT : And Abram goeth on, as Jehovah hath spoken unto him, and Lot goeth with him, and Abram [is] a son of five and seventy years in his going out from Charan.

BNV : অব্রাম সঙ্গে নিলেন স্ত্রী সারী, ভ্রাতুষ্পুত্র লোট এবং হারণে তাঁদের যা কিছু ছিল সে সবই নিয়ে গেলেন| হারণে অব্রামের য়েসব দাসদাসী ছিল তাদেরও তিনি সঙ্গে নিলেন| দলবল সমেত হারণ ত্যাগ করে অব্রাম কনান দেশে যাত্রা করলেন|
KJV : And Abram took Sarai his wife, and Lot his brother’s son, and all their substance that they had gathered, and the souls that they had gotten in Haran; and they went forth to go into the land of Canaan; and into the land of Canaan they came.
YLT : And Abram taketh Sarai his wife, and Lot his brother`s son, and all their substance that they have gained, and the persons that they have obtained in Charan; and they go out to go towards the land of Canaan; and they come in to the land of Canaan.

ERVEN : He took his wife Sarai, his nephew Lot, all the slaves, and all the other things he had gotten in Haran. Then he and his group moved to the land of Canaan.

BNV : অব্রাম কনান দেশের মধ্য দিয়ে শিখিম শহরে গেলেন এবং তারপরে মোরিতে এক বিশাল গাছের কাছে গেলেন| সেই সময় কনানীযরা সেখানে বাস করতো|
KJV : And Abram passed through the land unto the place of Sichem, unto the plain of Moreh. And the Canaanite [was] then in the land.

BNV : প্রভু অব্রামের সকাশে আত্মপ্রকাশ করলেন| প্রভু বললেন, “তোমার উত্তরপুরুষদের আমি এই দেশ দেব|”প্রভু যেখানে অব্রামকে দর্শন দিয়েছিলেন সেখানে অব্রাম প্রভুর উদ্দেশ্যে উত্সর্গ সম্পাদনের জন্যে পাথরের একটা বেদী নির্মাণ করলেন|
KJV : And the LORD appeared unto Abram, and said, Unto thy seed will I give this land: and there builded he an altar unto the LORD, who appeared unto him.

BNV : তারপর অব্রাম সেই স্থান ত্যাগ করে গেলেন বৈথেলের পূর্বদিকে অবস্থিত পর্বতে এবং সেখানে তাঁর শিবির স্থাপন করলেন| বৈথেল নগর ছিল পশ্চিম দিকে আর অয় ছিল পূর্ব দিকে| সেখানে অব্রাম আর একটি বেদী নির্মাণ করলেন এবং প্রভুর উপাসনা করলেন|
KJV : And he removed from thence unto a mountain on the east of Bethel, and pitched his tent, [having] Bethel on the west, and Hai on the east: and there he builded an altar unto the LORD, and called upon the name of the LORD.
YLT : And he removeth from thence towards a mountain at the east of Beth-El, and stretcheth out the tent (Beth-El at the west, and Hai at the east), and he buildeth there an altar to Jehovah, and preacheth in the name of Jehovah.

ESV : From there he moved to the hill country on the east of Bethel and pitched his tent, with Bethel on the west and Ai on the east. And there he built an altar to the LORD and called upon the name of the LORD.
ERVEN : Then he left that place and traveled to the mountains east of Bethel. He set up his tent there. Bethel was to the west, and Ai was to the east. Abram built another altar at that place to honor the Lord, and he worshiped the Lord there.

BNV : অতঃপর তিনি পুনরায় তাঁর যাত্রা শুরু করলেন| তিনি নেগেভের দিকে অগ্রসর হলেন|
KJV : And Abram journeyed, going on still toward the south.
YLT : And Abram journeyeth, going on and journeying towards the south.

BNV : তখন দেশটা ছিল খুব শুষ্ক| অনাবৃষ্টির জন্যে কোনও শস্য উত্পাদন সম্ভব ছিল না| তাই অব্রাম বসবাসের জন্য আরও দক্ষিণে মিশরে গেলেন|
KJV : And there was a famine in the land: and Abram went down into Egypt to sojourn there; for the famine [was] grievous in the land.

BNV : তিনি খেয়াল করলেন য়ে তাঁর স্ত্রী সারী কত সুন্দরী| তাই মিশরে প্রবেশের ঠিক আগে সারীকে বললেন, “আমি জানি তুমি সুন্দরী|
KJV : And it came to pass, when he was come near to enter into Egypt, that he said unto Sarai his wife, Behold now, I know that thou [art] a fair woman to look upon:
YLT : and it cometh to pass as he hath drawn near to enter Egypt, that he saith unto Sarai his wife, `Lo, I pray thee, I have known that thou [art] a woman of beautiful appearance;
RV : And it came to pass, when he was come near to enter into Egypt, that he said unto Sarai his wife, Behold now, I know that thou art a fair woman to look upon:

BNV : মিশরীয পুরুষরা তোমায় দেখবে| তারা বলবে, ‘এই মহিলা ঐ লোকটার স্ত্রী|’ তারা তখন তোমাকে পাওয়ার জন্যে আমায় মেরে ফেলবে|
KJV : Therefore it shall come to pass, when the Egyptians shall see thee, that they shall say, This [is] his wife: and they will kill me, but they will save thee alive.
YLT : and it hath come to pass that the Egyptians see thee, and they have said, `This [is] his wife,` and they have slain me, and thee they keep alive:
RV : and it shall come to pass, when the Egyptians shall see thee, that they shall say, This is his wife: and they will kill me, but they will save thee alive.

BNV : তাই সবাইকে বলবে য়ে তুমি আমার বোন| তাহলে তারা আর আমায় হত্যা করবে না| তারা আমায় তোমার ভাই ভাববে, আমার সঙ্গে ভাল ব্যবহার করবে| এইভাবে তুমি আমার প্রাণ বাঁচাবে|”
KJV : Say, I pray thee, thou [art] my sister: that it may be well with me for thy sake; and my soul shall live because of thee.
YLT : say, I pray thee, thou [art] my sister, so that it is well with me because of thee, and my soul hath lived for thy sake.`
RV : Say, I pray thee, thou art my sister: that it may be well with me for thy sake, and that my soul may live because of thee.
RSV : Say you are my sister, that it may go well with me because of you, and that my life may be spared on your account."

BNV : তখন অব্রাম মিশরে গেলেন| মিশরীয পুরুষরা দেখল য়ে সারী কত সুন্দরী|
KJV : And it came to pass, that, when Abram was come into Egypt, the Egyptians beheld the woman that she [was] very fair.
YLT : And it cometh to pass, at the entering of Abram into Egypt, that the Egyptians see the woman that she [is] exceeding fair;
RV : And it came to pass, that, when Abram was come into Egypt, the Egyptians beheld the woman that she was very fair.
RSV : When Abram entered Egypt the Egyptians saw that the woman was very beautiful.

BNV : মিশরের নেতারা কেউ কেউ তাঁকে দেখলেন| সারী য়ে কত সুন্দরী সে কথা তাঁরা বয়ং ফরৌণের কানে তুললেন| তাঁরা সারীকে ফরৌণের প্রাসাদে নিয়ে গেলেন|
KJV : The princes also of Pharaoh saw her, and commended her before Pharaoh: and the woman was taken into Pharaoh’s house.
YLT : and princes of Pharaoh see her, and praise her unto Pharaoh, and the woman is taken [to] Pharaoh`s house;

BNV : অব্রামকে সারীর ভাই মনে করে ফরৌণ অব্রামের প্রতি সদয় ব্যবহার করলেন| অব্রামকে ফরৌণ মেষ, গবাদি পশু এবং বোঝা বইবার জন্য গাধা দিলেন| সেই সঙ্গে দাসদাসী এবং উটও পেলেন অব্রাম|
KJV : And he entreated Abram well for her sake: and he had sheep, and oxen, and he asses, and menservants, and maidservants, and she asses, and camels.
YLT : and to Abram he hath done good because of her, and he hath sheep and oxen, and he-asses, and men-servants, and handmaids, and she-asses, and camels.

ERVEN : Pharaoh was kind to Abram because he thought Abram was Sarai's brother. He gave Abram sheep, cattle, donkeys, camels, and men and women servants.

BNV : আর ফরৌণ অব্রামের স্ত্রীকে নিলেন| এই কারণে ফরৌণ এবং তাঁর প্রাসাদের সব লোকেদের প্রভু ভয়ঙ্কর অসুখ দিলেন|
KJV : And the LORD plagued Pharaoh and his house with great plagues because of Sarai Abram’s wife.
YLT : And Jehovah plagueth Pharaoh and his house -- great plagues -- for the matter of Sarai, Abram`s wife.

ERVEN : Pharaoh took Abram's wife, so the Lord caused Pharaoh and all the people in his house to have very bad diseases.

BNV : তখন ফরৌণ অব্রামকে ডেকে বললেন, “তুমি আমার প্রতি খুব অন্যায় করেছ! সারী য়ে তোমার স্ত্রী সে কথা আমায় বলো নি কেন?
KJV : And Pharaoh called Abram, and said, What [is] this [that] thou hast done unto me? why didst thou not tell me that she [was] thy wife?
YLT : And Pharaoh calleth for Abram, and saith, `What [is] this thou hast done to me? why hast thou not declared to me that she [is] thy wife?
RV : And Pharaoh called Abram, and said, What is this that thou hast done unto me? why didst thou not tell me that she was thy wife?
RSV : So Pharaoh called Abram, and said, "What is this you have done to me? Why did you not tell me that she was your wife?

ERVEN : Pharaoh called Abram and said to him, "You have done a very bad thing to me! Why didn't you tell me Sarai was your wife?

BNV : তুমি কেন বলেছিলে য়ে সারী তোমার বোন? তোমার বোন মনে করে আমি ওকে আমার স্ত্রী করব বলে এনেছিলাম| কিন্তু এখন তোমায় তোমার স্ত্রী ফেরত দিচ্ছি| ওকে নিয়ে তুমি চলে যাও!”
KJV : Why saidst thou, She [is] my sister? so I might have taken her to me to wife: now therefore behold thy wife, take [her,] and go thy way.
YLT : Why hast thou said, She [is] my sister, and I take her to myself for a wife? and now, lo, thy wife, take and go.`
RV : Why saidst thou, She is my sister? so that I took her to be my wife: now therefore behold thy wife, take her, and go thy way.
RSV : Why did you say, `She is my sister,' so that I took her for my wife? Now then, here is your wife, take her, and be gone."

BNV : তারপর ফরৌণ তাঁর লোকজনদের আদেশ করলেন, “অব্রামকে মিশরের বাইরে নিয়ে যাও|” সুতরাং অব্রাম ও তার স্ত্রী সেই দেশ ত্যাগ করলেন| এবং সঙ্গে তাঁদের সমস্ত জিনিসপত্রও নিয়ে গেলেন|
KJV : And Pharaoh commanded [his] men concerning him: and they sent him away, and his wife, and all that he had.
YLT : And Pharaoh chargeth men concerning him, and they send him away, and his wife, an all that he hath.
RV : And Pharaoh gave men charge concerning him: and they brought him on the way, and his wife, and all that he had.
RSV : And Pharaoh gave men orders concerning him; and they set him on the way, with his wife and all that he had.
