BNV : তারপর ইস্রায়েলের সমস্ত জনমণ্ডলী এলীম ছেড়ে গেল এবং সীনয় মরুভূমিতে এলো য়েটা ছিল এলীম ও সীনয়ের মাঝখানে| মিশর দেশ ছেড়ে আসার দ্বিতীয মাসের 15 দিনের মাথায় তারা সেখানে পৌঁছলো|
KJV : And they took their journey from Elim, and all the congregation of the children of Israel came unto the wilderness of Sin, which [is] between Elim and Sinai, on the fifteenth day of the second month after their departing out of the land of Egypt.
YLT : And they journey from Elim, and all the company of the sons of Israel come in unto the wilderness of Sin, which [is] between Elim and Sinai, on the fifteenth day of the second month of their going out from the land of Egypt.
RV : And they took their journey from Elim, and all the congregation of the children of Israel came unto the wilderness of Sin, which is between Elim and Sinai, on the fifteenth day of the second month after their departing out of the land of Egypt.

ESV : They set out from Elim, and all the congregation of the people of Israel came to the wilderness of Sin, which is between Elim and Sinai, on the fifteenth day of the second month after they had departed from the land of Egypt.
ERVEN : Then the people left Elim and came to the desert of Zin, between Elim and Sinai. They arrived at that place on the 15 day of the second month after leaving Egypt.

BNV : তারপর ইস্রায়েলের সমস্ত জনমণ্ডলী মরুভূমিতে মোশি ও হারোণের কাছে নালিশ করল|
KJV : And the whole congregation of the children of Israel murmured against Moses and Aaron in the wilderness:
YLT : And all the company of the sons of Israel murmur against Moses and against Aaron in the wilderness;

ERVEN : Then the whole community of Israelites began complaining again. They complained to Moses and Aaron in the desert.

BNV : এইসব লোকরা বলল, “প্রভু যদি আমাদের মিশর দেশে মেরে ফেলতেন তাহলেও ভাল ছিল| অন্ততঃ সেখানে তো খাবার পেতাম| আমাদের ইচ্ছামতো খাবার সেখানে মজুত ছিল| কিন্তু এখন তোমরা আমাদের এই মরুভূমিতে এনে ফেললে| এখানে তো আমরা খাবারের অভাবেই মারা যাব|”
KJV : And the children of Israel said unto them, Would to God we had died by the hand of the LORD in the land of Egypt, when we sat by the flesh pots, [and] when we did eat bread to the full; for ye have brought us forth into this wilderness, to kill this whole assembly with hunger.
YLT : and the sons of Israel say unto them, `Oh that we had died by the hand of Jehovah in the land of Egypt, in our sitting by the flesh-pot, in our eating bread to satiety -- for ye have brought us out unto this wilderness to put all this assembly to death with hunger.`
RV : and the children of Israel said unto them, Would that we had died by the hand of the LORD in the land of Egypt, when we sat by the flesh pots, when we did eat bread to the full; for ye have brought us forth into this wilderness, to kill this whole assembly with hunger.
RSV : and said to them, "Would that we had died by the hand of the LORD in the land of Egypt, when we sat by the fleshpots and ate bread to the full; for you have brought us out into this wilderness to kill this whole assembly with hunger."
ASV : and the children of Israel said unto them, Would that we had died by the hand of Jehovah in the land of Egypt, when we sat by the flesh-pots, when we did eat bread to the full; for ye have brought us forth into this wilderness, to kill this whole assembly with hunger.
ESV : and the people of Israel said to them, "Would that we had died by the hand of the LORD in the land of Egypt, when we sat by the meat pots and ate bread to the full, for you have brought us out into this wilderness to kill this whole assembly with hunger."
ERVEN : They said, "It would have been better if the Lord had just killed us in the land of Egypt. At least there we had plenty to eat. We had all the food we needed. But now you have brought us out here into this desert to make us all die from hunger."

BNV : তখন প্রভু মোশিকে বললেন, “আমি তোমাদের জন্য আকাশ থেকে খাবার ফেলবার ব্যবস্থা করব| সেই খাবার তোমাদের খাবার য়োগ্য হবে| লোকরা প্রতিদিন বাইরে বেরিয়ে এসে তাদের প্রযোজনমতো সারাদিনের খাবার কুড়িয়ে নিয়ে আসবে| আমি যা বলছি তোমরা তা করছ কিনা শুধু তা দেখার জন্যই আমি এটা করব|
KJV : Then said the LORD unto Moses, Behold, I will rain bread from heaven for you; and the people shall go out and gather a certain rate every day, that I may prove them, whether they will walk in my law, or no.
YLT : And Jehovah saith unto Moses, `Lo, I am raining to you bread from the heavens -- and the people have gone out and gathered the matter of a day in its day -- so that I try them whether they walk in My law, or not;
RV : Then said the LORD unto Moses, Behold, I will rain bread from heaven for you; and the people shall go out and gather a day-s portion every day, that I may prove them, whether they will walk in my law, or no.

ESV : Then the LORD said to Moses, "Behold, I am about to rain bread from heaven for you, and the people shall go out and gather a day's portion every day, that I may test them, whether they will walk in my law or not.
ERVEN : Then the Lord said to Moses, "I will cause food to fall from the sky. This food will be for you to eat. Every day the people should go out and gather the food they need that day. I will do this to see if they will do what I tell them.

BNV : প্রত্যেকদিন তারা কেবলমাত্র একদিনের মতো পর্য়াপ্ত খাবার সংগ্রহ করবে| কিন্তু শুক্রবার যখন তারা খাবার তৈরি করবে, তখন তারা দেখবে য়ে দুদিনের মত পর্য়াপ্ত খাবার সঞ্চিত আছে|”
KJV : And it shall come to pass, that on the sixth day they shall prepare [that] which they bring in; and it shall be twice as much as they gather daily.
YLT : and it hath been on the sixth day, that they have prepared that which they bring in, and it hath been double above that which they gather day [by] day.`

BNV : মোশি এবং হারোণ ইস্রায়েলের লোকদের বলল, “রাতে তোমরা প্রভুর শক্তির প্রমাণ পাবে| তোমরা জানবে য়ে তিনিই তোমাদের মিশর থেকে উদ্ধার করে নিয়ে এসেছেন|
KJV : And Moses and Aaron said unto all the children of Israel, At even, then ye shall know that the LORD hath brought you out from the land of Egypt:
YLT : And Moses saith -- Aaron also -- unto all the sons of Israel, `Evening -- and ye have known that Jehovah hath brought you out from the land of Egypt;
RV : And Moses and Aaron said unto all the children of Israel, At even, then ye shall know that the LORD hath brought you out from the land of Egypt:
RSV : So Moses and Aaron said to all the people of Israel, "At evening you shall know that it was the LORD who brought you out of the land of Egypt,

BNV : তোমরা প্রভুর কাছে নালিশ জানিয়েছো এবং তিনি তা শুনেছেন| তাই আগামীকাল সকালে তোমরা প্রভুর মহিমা স্বচক্ষে দেখতে পাবে| তোমরা আমাদের কাছে কেবল নালিশই জানিয়ে যাচ্ছ| এখন কি আমরা খানিকটা বিশ্রাম পেতে পারি?”
KJV : And in the morning, then ye shall see the glory of the LORD; for that he heareth your murmurings against the LORD: and what [are] we, that ye murmur against us?
YLT : and morning -- and ye have seen the honour of Jehovah, in His hearing your murmurings against Jehovah, and what [are] we, that ye murmur against us?`
RV : and in the morning, then ye shall see the glory of the LORD; for that he heareth your murmurings against the LORD: and what are we, that ye murmur against us?
RSV : and in the morning you shall see the glory of the LORD, because he has heard your murmurings against the LORD. For what are we, that you murmur against us?"

ERVEN : You have been complaining about the Lord, and he heard you. So tomorrow morning you will see the Glory of the Lord. You have been complaining and complaining about us. Maybe now we can have a little rest."

BNV : এবং মোশি বলল, “তোমরা নালিশ জানিয়েছ এবং প্রভু তোমাদের অভিযোগ শুনেছেন| তাই আজ রাতে প্রভু তোমাদের মাংস দেবেন| এবং কাল সকালের মধ্যে তোমরা তোমাদের চাহিদা মতো রুটিও পেয়ে যাবে| তোমরা আমার কাছে এবং হারোণের কাছেও নালিশ জানিয়ে এসেছ| কিন্তু আমরা এখন দুজনে কিছু সমযের জন্য বিশ্রাম নিতে পারব বলে মনে হয়| মনে রেখো, তোমরা আমার বিরুদ্ধে কিংবা হারোণের বিরুদ্ধে নালিশ জানাও নি, তোমরা বয়ং প্রভুর বিরুদ্ধে নালিশ জানিয়েছ|”
KJV : And Moses said, [This shall be,] when the LORD shall give you in the evening flesh to eat, and in the morning bread to the full; for that the LORD heareth your murmurings which ye murmur against him: and what [are] we? your murmurings [are] not against us, but against the LORD.
YLT : And Moses saith, `In Jehovah`s giving to you in the evening flesh to eat, and bread in the morning to satiety -- in Jehovah`s hearing your murmurings, which ye are murmuring against Him, and what [are] we? your murmurings [are] not against us, but against Jehovah.`
RV : And Moses said, {cf15i This shall be}, when the LORD shall give you in the evening flesh to eat, and in the morning bread to the full; for that the LORD heareth your murmurings which ye murmur against him: and what are we? your murmurings are not against us, but against the LORD.
RSV : And Moses said, "When the LORD gives you in the evening flesh to eat and in the morning bread to the full, because the LORD has heard your murmurings which you murmur against him -- what are we? Your murmurings are not against us but against the LORD."
ASV : And Moses said, This shall be, when Jehovah shall give you in the evening flesh to eat, and in the morning bread to the full; for that Jehovah heareth your murmurings which ye murmur against him: and what are we? your murmurings are not against us, but against Jehovah.
ESV : And Moses said, "When the LORD gives you in the evening meat to eat and in the morning bread to the full, because the LORD has heard your grumbling that you grumble against him- what are we? Your grumbling is not against us but against the LORD."
ERVEN : Then Moses said, "You have been complaining, and the Lord has heard your complaints. So tonight he will give you meat, and in the morning you will have all the bread you need. You have been complaining to Aaron and me. But now, maybe we will have a little rest. Remember, you are not complaining against Aaron and me. You are complaining against the Lord."

BNV : তারপর মোশি হারোণকে বলল, “ইস্রায়েলের সমস্ত লোকদের বলো, ‘প্রভুর সামনে উপস্থিত হতে|’ কারণ প্রভু তোমাদের নালিশ শুনেছেন|”‘
KJV : And Moses spake unto Aaron, Say unto all the congregation of the children of Israel, Come near before the LORD: for he hath heard your murmurings.
YLT : And Moses saith unto Aaron, `Say unto all the company of the sons of Israel, Come ye near before Jehovah, for He hath heard your murmurings;`
RV : And Moses said unto Aaron, Say unto all the congregation of the children of Israel, Come near before the LORD: for he hath heard your murmurings.

ERVEN : Then Moses said to Aaron, "Tell the whole community of Israelites to come together before the Lord, because he has heard their complaints."

BNV : হারোণ ইস্রায়েলের সমস্ত লোকদের সে কথা বলল| তখন তারা সবাই একসঙ্গে এক জায়গায় এসে জড়ো হল| হারোণ যখন সবার সঙ্গে কথা বলছিল তখন সবাই পিছন ফিরে মরুভূমির দিকে তাকিয়ে দেখতে থাকল মেঘের ভিতর দিয়ে প্রভুর মহিমা প্রকাশিত হচ্ছে|
KJV : And it came to pass, as Aaron spake unto the whole congregation of the children of Israel, that they looked toward the wilderness, and, behold, the glory of the LORD appeared in the cloud.
YLT : and it cometh to pass, when Aaron is speaking unto all the company of the sons of Israel, that they turn towards the wilderness, and lo, the honour of Jehovah is seen in the cloud.
RV : And it came to pass, as Aaron spake unto the whole congregation of the children of Israel, that they looked toward the wilderness, and, behold, the glory of the LORD appeared in the cloud.

ESV : And as soon as Aaron spoke to the whole congregation of the people of Israel, they looked toward the wilderness, and behold, the glory of the LORD appeared in the cloud.
ERVEN : So Aaron spoke to all the Israelites. While he was talking, the people turned and looked into the desert. And they saw the Glory of the Lord appear in a cloud.

BNV : “আমি ইস্রায়েলের লোকদের নালিশ শুনেছি| সুতরাং ওদের বলো, ‘আজ রাতে তোমরা মাংস খেতে পারো এবং সকালে তোমরা যতখুশি রুটি খেতে পারো| তখন তোমরা বুঝবে য়ে তোমরা তোমাদের প্রভু, তোমাদের ঈশ্বরকে, বিশ্বাস করতে পার|”
KJV : I have heard the murmurings of the children of Israel: speak unto them, saying, At even ye shall eat flesh, and in the morning ye shall be filled with bread; and ye shall know that I [am] the LORD your God.
YLT : `I have heard the murmurings of the sons of Israel; speak unto them, saying, Between the evenings ye eat flesh, and in the morning ye are satisfied [with] bread, and ye have known that I [am] Jehovah your God.`

ERVEN : "I have heard the complaints of the Israelites. So tell them, 'Tonight you will eat meat. And in the morning you will have all the bread you want. Then you will know you can trust the Lord, your God.'"

BNV : রাতে, তিতির পাখীরা এসেছিল এবং শিবিরের চারপাশে বসেছিল| লোকরা সেই পাখীগুলোকে ধরে তার মাংস খেল| সকালে শিবিরের চারপাশে শিশির পড়েছিল|
KJV : And it came to pass, that at even the quails came up, and covered the camp: and in the morning the dew lay round about the host.
YLT : And it cometh to pass in the evening, that the quail cometh up, and covereth the camp, and in the morning there hath been the lying of dew round about the camp,

BNV : শিশির শুকিয়ে গেলে তুষার কণার সরু স্তরের মতো একটি বস্তু মাটিতে পড়ে থাকল|
KJV : And when the dew that lay was gone up, behold, upon the face of the wilderness [there lay] a small round thing, [as] small as the hoar frost on the ground.
YLT : and the lying of the dew goeth up, and lo, on the face of the wilderness a thin, bare thing, thin as hoar-frost on the earth.
RV : And when the dew that lay was gone up, behold, upon the face of the wilderness a small round thing, small as the hoar frost on the ground.
RSV : And when the dew had gone up, there was on the face of the wilderness a fine, flake-like thing, fine as hoarfrost on the ground.

BNV : তা দেখে ইস্রায়েলবাসীরা একে অপরকে জিজ্ঞাসা করতে শুরু করল, “এটা আবার কি জিনিস?”তারা জানত না সেটা কি| তাই তারা একে অপরকে কৌতুহলী হয়ে জিজ্ঞাসা করছিল| তখন মোশি তাদের বলল, “এটা এক ধরণের খাদ্যবস্তু যা প্রভু তোমাদের খাবার জন্য দিয়েছেন|
KJV : And when the children of Israel saw [it,] they said one to another, It [is] manna: for they wist not what it [was.] And Moses said unto them, This [is] the bread which the LORD hath given you to eat.
YLT : And the sons of Israel see, and say one unto another, `What [is] it?` for they have not known what it [is]; and Moses saith unto them, `It [is] the bread which Jehovah hath given to you for food.
RV : And when the children of Israel saw it, they said one to another, What is it? for they wist not what it was. And Moses said unto them, It is the bread which the LORD hath given you to eat.
RSV : When the people of Israel saw it, they said to one another, "What is it?" For they did not know what it was. And Moses said to them, "It is the bread which the LORD has given you to eat.
ASV : And when the children of Israel saw it, they said one to another, What is it? For they knew not what it was. And Moses said unto them, It is the bread which Jehovah hath given you to eat.
ESV : When the people of Israel saw it, they said to one another, "What is it?" For they did not know what it was. And Moses said to them, "It is the bread that the LORD has given you to eat.
ERVEN : When the Israelites saw it, they asked each other, "What is that?" because they did not know what it was. So Moses told them, "This is the food the Lord is giving you to eat.

BNV : প্রভু বলেছেন, ‘প্রত্যেকেই তার প্রয়োজন মতো এটা কুড়িযে নেবে| এবং প্রত্যেককে তার পরিবারের প্রত্যেকের জন্য অন্ততঃ দু’পোযা করে নিতে হবে|”‘
KJV : This [is] the thing which the LORD hath commanded, Gather of it every man [according to] his eating, an omer for every man, according to the number of your persons; take ye every man for [them] which [are] in his tents.
YLT : `This [is] the thing which Jehovah hath commanded: Gather of it each according to his eating, an omer for a poll; and the number of your persons, take ye each for those in his tent.`
RV : This is the thing which the LORD hath commanded, Gather ye of it every man according to his eating; an omer a head, according to the number of your persons, shall ye take it, every man for them which are in his tent.
RSV : This is what the LORD has commanded: `Gather of it, every man of you, as much as he can eat; you shall take an omer apiece, according to the number of the persons whom each of you has in his tent.'"
ASV : This is the thing which Jehovah hath commanded, Gather ye of it every man according to his eating; an omer a head, according to the number of your persons, shall ye take it, every man for them that are in his tent.
ESV : This is what the LORD has commanded: 'Gather of it, each one of you, as much as he can eat. You shall each take an omer, according to the number of the persons that each of you has in his tent.'"
ERVEN : The Lord says, 'Each of you should gather what you need, a basket of manna for everyone in your family.'"

BNV : একথা শুনে ইস্রায়েলবাসীরা প্রত্যেকে ঐ খাদ্যবস্তু কুড়িয়ে নিল, কেউ কেউ আবার অন্যদের থেকে বেশী কুড়ালো|
KJV : And the children of Israel did so, and gathered, some more, some less.
YLT : And the sons of Israel do so, and they gather, he who is [gathering] much, and he who is [gathering] little;
RV : And the children of Israel did so, and gathered some more, some less.

BNV : পরে ওজনে দেখা গেল য়ে যারা বেশী সংগ্রহ করেছিল তাদের কাছে অতিরিক্ত পরিমাণ ছিল না এবং যারা কম সংগ্রহ করতে পেরেছিল তাদেরও খাবারে কম পড়ে নি| প্রত্যেকের পরিবারই পর্য়াপ্ত পরিমাণে খাবার পেল|
KJV : And when they did mete [it] with an omer, he that gathered much had nothing over, and he that gathered little had no lack; they gathered every man according to his eating.
YLT : and they measure with an omer, and he who is [gathering] much hath nothing over, and he who is [gathering] little hath no lack, each according to his eating they have gathered.
