সে এটা আর সহ্য করতে পারল না| শেষ পর্য়ন্ত সে দলীলাকে সব কিছুই বলে দিল| সে বলল, “আমি কখনও চুল কাটি না| আমার জন্মের আগে থেকেই আমাকে ঈশ্বরের কাছে উত্সর্গ করে দেওয়া হয়েছে| যদি কেউ আমার চুল কেটে নেয, তাহলে আমি অন্য পাঁচজন সাধারণ লোকর মতো দুর্বল হয়ে পড়ব|”

That he told her all his heart, and said unto her. There hath not come a razor upon mine head; for I [have been] a Nazarite unto God from my mother’s womb: if I be shaven, then my strength will go from me, and I shall become weak, and be like any [other] man.
