তারা ঈশ্বরের বিরুদ্ধে চলে গিয়েছে| তাই বন থেকে এক সিংহ এসে তাদের আক্রমণ করবে| মরুভূমি থেকে এক নেকড়ে বাঘ এসে সবাইকে মেরে ফেলবে| তাদের শহরের কাছে এক চিতা লুকিয়ে আছে| শহরের বাইরে কেউ বেরলেই তাকে টুকরো টুকরো করে ছিঁড়ে খাবে| যিহূদার লোকরা বার বার পাপ করার ফলেই এগুলি ঘটবে| প্রভু বার বার সতর্ক করে কোন ফল পান নি| প্রভুর কাছ থেকে তারা বার বারই দূরে থেকেছে|

Wherefore a lion out of the forest shall slay them, [and] a wolf of the evenings shall spoil them, a leopard shall watch over their cities: every one that goeth out thence shall be torn in pieces: because their transgressions are many, [and] their backslidings are increased.

It will tear to pieces anyone who comes out of the city. That's because the people of Judah have sinned again and again. They have wandered away from the Lord many times.
