MRV : तिने (ज्ञानरुपी स्त्रीने) मांस शिजवले आणि द्राक्षारस तयार केला. तिने अन्न तिच्या टेबलावर ठेवले.

MRV : नंतर तिने आपल्या नोकरांकरवी शहरातील लोकांना तिच्याबरोबर टेकडीवर भोजन करण्यासाठी येण्याचे आमंत्रण पाठविले. ती म्हणाली,

MRV : “ज्या लोकांना शिकण्याची आवश्यकता वाटते त्यांनी यावे.” तिने मूर्ख लोकांनाही बोलावले. ती म्हणाली,
KJV : Whoso [is] simple, let him turn in hither: [as for] him that wanteth understanding, she saith to him,
YLT : `Who [is] simple? let him turn aside hither.` Whoso lacketh heart: she hath said to him,
RV : Whoso is simple, let him turn in hither: as for him that is void of understanding, she saith to him,
RSV : "Whoever is simple, let him turn in here!" To him who is without sense she says,

ERVEN : "Whoever needs instruction, come." She invites all the simple people and says,

MRV : “या माझ्या ज्ञानाचे अन्न खा. आणि मी तयार केलेला द्राक्षारस प्या.
KJV : Come, eat of my bread, and drink of the wine [which] I have mingled.

MRV : तुमचे जुने, मूर्खपणाचे मार्ग सोडून द्या. मग तुम्हाला आयुष्य मिळेल. समजूतदारपणाचा मार्ग अनुसरा.”
KJV : Forsake the foolish, and live; and go in the way of understanding.
YLT : Forsake ye, the simple, and live, And be happy in the way of understanding.
RV : Leave off, ye simple ones, and live; and walk in the way of understanding.
RSV : Leave simpleness, and live, and walk in the way of insight."

MRV : जर तुम्ही गर्विष्ठ माणसाला तो चुकत आहे हे सांगण्याचा प्रयत्न केला तर तो तुमच्यावर केवळ टीका करेल. तो माणूस देवाच्या शहाणपणाची चेष्टा करतो. जर तुम्ही दुष्ट माणसाला तो चुकत आहे असे सांगितले तर तो तुमची चेष्टा करेल.
KJV : He that reproveth a scorner getteth to himself shame: and he that rebuketh a wicked [man getteth] himself a blot.
YLT : The instructor of a scorner Is receiving for it -- shame, And a reprover of the wicked -- his blemish.
RV : He that correcteth a scorner getteth to himself shame: and he that reproveth a wicked man {cf15i getteth} himself a blot.
RSV : He who corrects a scoffer gets himself abuse, and he who reproves a wicked man incurs injury.

ESV : Whoever corrects a scoffer gets himself abuse, and he who reproves a wicked man incurs injury.
ERVEN : Criticize a person who is rude and shows no respect, and you will only get insults. Correct the wicked, and you will only get hurt.

MRV : म्हणून जर एखादा माणूस तो इतरांपेक्षा चांगला आहे असे म्हणत असेल तर त्याला तो चुकतो आहे असे सांगू नका. तो त्या बद्दल तुमचा तिरस्कार करेल. पण जर तुम्ही शहाण्या माणसाला मदत करण्याचा प्रयत्न केलात तर तो तुमचा आदर करेल.

MRV : परमेश्वराचा आदर करणे ही ज्ञान मिळवण्याची पहिली पायरी आहे. परमेश्वराविषयी ज्ञान मिळवणे ही समजूतदारपणा मिळवणाची पहिली पायरी आहे.
KJV : The fear of the LORD [is] the beginning of wisdom: and the knowledge of the holy [is] understanding.
YLT : The commencement of wisdom [is] the fear of Jehovah, And a knowledge of the Holy Ones [is] understanding.
