ତହୁଁ ବିଲିଯମ ବାଲାକକୁ କହିଲେ, "ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଆପଣା ହୋମବଳୀ ନିକଟରେ ଠିଆ ହୁଅ। ମୁଁ ଅନ୍ୟ ଏକ ସ୍ଥାନକୁ ୟିବି। ପ୍ରାଯ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ମାେତେ ସାକ୍ଷାତ କରିବାକୁ ଆସିବେ। ଆଉ ସେ ଯାହା ନିର୍ଦ୍ଦେଶ ଦବେେ, ତାହା ହିଁ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ କହିବି।" ଏଣୁ ସେ ଏକ ଉଚ୍ଚସ୍ଥାନକୁ ଗଲେ।

And Balaam said unto Balak, Stand by thy burnt offering, and I will go: peradventure the LORD will come to meet me: and whatsoever he sheweth me I will tell thee. And he went to an high place.
