ଦଶାେଧ୍ଯକ୍ଷ ନିହିମିଯା, ଲିପିକାର ଓ ଯାଜକ ଏଜ୍ରା ଓ ଲବେୀୟମାନେ, ଯେଉଁମାନେ ବୁଝିବା ରେ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ ସାହାୟ୍ଯ କଲେ, "ଆଜି ଦିନ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କର ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କ ଉଦ୍ଦେଶ୍ଯ ରେ ପବିତ୍ର ଅଟେ। ଶୋକ କରନାହିଁ କି ରୋଦନ କରନାହିଁ।" ସମାନେେ ଏହା କହିଲେ, କାରଣ ବ୍ଯବସ୍ଥା ବାକ୍ଯ ଶ୍ରବଣ କରନ୍ତେ ସମସ୍ତ ଲୋକ ରୋଦନ କଲେ।

And Nehemiah, which [is] the Tirshatha, and Ezra the priest the scribe, and the Levites that taught the people, said unto all the people, This day [is] holy unto the LORD your God; mourn not, nor weep. For all the people wept, when they heard the words of the law.
