ওই বিশেষ দিনটিকে উপলক্ষ করে যাজকরা বহু বলি উত্সর্গ করলেন| সকলেই খুশী ছিল কারণ ঈশ্বর সকলকে খুব খুশী করেছিলেন| এমন কি মেয়েদের ও তাদের বাচচাদেরও খুবই উত্তেজিত ও আনন্দিত দেখাচ্ছিল| বহু দূরের লোকরাও জেরুশালেম থেকে ভেসে আসা আনন্দের স্বর শুনতে পাচ্ছিল|

Also that day they offered great sacrifices, and rejoiced: for God had made them rejoice with great joy: the wives also and the children rejoiced: so that the joy of Jerusalem was heard even afar off.
