সুতরাং সাত দিনের দিন সূর্য়াস্তের আগে পলেষ্টীয়রা উত্তরটা পেয়ে গেল| শিম্শোনকে গিয়ে তারা বলল: “মধুর চেয়ে মিষ্ট কি আছে? সিংহের চেয়ে বেশী শক্তিশালী কে?”তখন শিম্শোন বলল: “যদি তোমরা আমার গরু সঙ্গে নিয়ে না চাষ করতে তোমরা আমার ধাঁধার সমাধান করতেই পারতে না|”

And the men of the city said unto him on the seventh day before the sun went down, What [is] sweeter than honey? and what [is] stronger than a lion? And he said unto them, If ye had not plowed with my heifer, ye had not found out my riddle.
