সূর্য়াস্তের সময় যিহোশূয় তাঁর লোকদের গাছ থেকে দেহগুলোকে নামাতে বললেন| তাই তারা সেইগুলো ঐ গুহার ভেতরেই ছুঁড়ে দিল| য়ে গুহাতে রাজারা লুকিয়েছিল তার মুখটা বড় বড় পাথরে ঢেকে দিল| সেই দেহগুলো আজ পর্য়ন্ত গুহার ভেতরে আছে|

And it came to pass at the time of the going down of the sun, [that] Joshua commanded, and they took them down off the trees, and cast them into the cave wherein they had been hid, and laid great stones in the cave’s mouth, [which remain] until this very day.

At sunset Joshua told his men to take the bodies down from the trees. So they threw the bodies into the cave where the kings had been hiding and covered the entrance of the cave with large rocks. Their bodies are still in that cave today.
