ನಿನ್ನ ದೇಶ ಯಾವದು, ನೀನು ಯಾವ ಜನಾಂಗದವನು, ನಮಗೆ ತಿಳಿಸು ಅಂದರು. ಅವನು ಅವರಿಗೆ--ನಾನು ಇಬ್ರಿಯನು; ಸಮುದ್ರವನ್ನೂ ಒಣಗಿದ ಭೂಮಿಯನ್ನೂ ಉಂಟುಮಾಡಿದ ಪರ ಲೋಕದ ದೇವರಾದ ಕರ್ತನಿಗೆ ಭಯಪಡುವವ ನಾಗಿದ್ದೇನೆಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು.
