ಯೇಸು ಪ್ರತ್ಯುತ್ತರವಾಗಿ ಅವನಿಗೆ--ನಾನು ಬಹಿರಂಗವಾಗಿ ಲೋಕದ ಮುಂದೆ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದ್ದೇನೆ; ಯೆಹೂದ್ಯರು ಯಾವಾಗಲೂ ಕೂಡುವಂಥ ಸಭಾಮಂದಿರದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ದೇವಾಲಯದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ನಾನು ಉಪದೇಶಿಸಿದ್ದೆನು; ಗುಪ್ತವಾಗಿ ಯಾವದನ್ನೂ ನಾನು ಹೇಳಲಿಲ್ಲ.

Jesus answered him, {SCJ}I spake openly to the world; I ever taught in the synagogue, and in the temple, whither the Jews always resort; and in secret have I said nothing. {SCJ.}
