ਮੈਂ ਏਲਾਮ ਨੂੰ ਓਹਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਵੈਰੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਅੱਗੇ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਅੱਗੇ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਓਹਨਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਜਾਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਗਾਹਕ ਹਨ ਹੱਕਾ ਬੱਕਾ ਕਰਾਂਗਾ, ਮੈਂ ਓਹਨਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਵੱਡੇ ਕ੍ਰੋਧ ਦੀ ਬੁਰਿਆਈ ਲਿਆਵਾਂਗਾ, ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦਾ ਵਾਕ ਹੈ। ਮੈਂ ਓਹਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਪਿੱਛੇ ਤਲਵਾਰ ਘੱਲਾਂਗਾ ਏੱਥੋਂ ਤੀਕ ਕਿ ਓਹਨਾਂ ਦਾ ਸੱਤਿਆ ਨਾਸ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ

For I will cause Elam to be dismayed before their enemies, and before them that seek their life: and I will bring evil upon them [even] my fierce anger, saith the LORD; and I will send the sword after them, till I have consumed them:

This message is from the Lord. "I will send a sword to chase Elam. The sword will chase them until I have killed them all.
