BNV সুতরাং সভাসদরা যিরমিয়কে নিয়ে গেল মল্কিযের চৌবাচচায় ফেলে দেসু়ার জন্য (মল্কিয ছিল রাজপুত্র)| চৌবাচচাটি ছিল উপাসনালয চত্বরে, সেখানে থাকতো রাজার প্রহরীরা| সভাসদরা যিরমিয়কে দড়ি দিয়ে বাঁধল এবং জলাধারে ফেলে দিল| জলাধারটিতে জল ছিল না, ছিল শুধু কাদা| এবং যিরমিয় সেই কাদার ভেতরে ডুবে গেল|
KJV Then took they Jeremiah, and cast him into the dungeon of Malchiah the son of Hammelech, that [was] in the court of the prison: and they let down Jeremiah with cords. And in the dungeon [there was] no water, but mire: so Jeremiah sunk in the mire.
YLT And they take Jeremiah, and cast him into the pit of Malchiah son of the king, that [is] in the court of the prison, and they send down Jeremiah with cords; and in the pit there is no water, but mire, and Jeremiah sinketh in the mire.
RV Then took they Jeremiah, and cast him into the dungeon of Malchijah the king-s son, that was in the court of the guard: and they let down Jeremiah with cords. And in the dungeon there was no water, but mire: and Jeremiah sank in the mire.
RSV So they took Jeremiah and cast him into the cistern of Malchiah, the king's son, which was in the court of the guard, letting Jeremiah down by ropes. And there was no water in the cistern, but only mire, and Jeremiah sank in the mire.
ASV Then took they Jeremiah, and cast him into the dungeon of Malchijah the kings son, that was in the court of the guard: and they let down Jeremiah with cords. And in the dungeon there was no water, but mire; and Jeremiah sank in the mire.
ESV So they took Jeremiah and cast him into the cistern of Malchiah, the king's son, which was in the court of the guard, letting Jeremiah down by ropes. And there was no water in the cistern, but only mud, and Jeremiah sank in the mud.
ERVEN So the officials took Jeremiah and put him into Malkijah's cistern. (Malkijah was the king's son.) The cistern was in the Temple yard where the king's guard stayed. They used ropes to lower Jeremiah into the cistern. The cistern didn't have any water in it, only mud. And Jeremiah sank down into the mud.
