ଆଉ ଆମ୍ଭେ ଦେଖିଲୁ ବିପଥଗାମିନୀ ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲ ବ୍ଯଭିଚାର କରିବା ହତେୁ ଆମ୍ଭେ ତାକୁ ଛାଡ଼ପତ୍ର ଦେଲେ ହେଁ, ତାହା ବିଶ୍ବାସଘାତିନୀ ଭଉଣୀ ଯିହୁଦା ଭୟ କଲା ନାହିଁ। ସେ ମଧ୍ଯ ୟାଇ ବ୍ଯଭିଚାର କଲା।

And I saw, when for all the causes whereby backsliding Israel committed adultery I had put her away, and given her a bill of divorce; yet her treacherous sister Judah feared not, but went and played the harlot also.

Israel was unfaithful, and Israel knew why I sent her away. Israel knew that I divorced her because she committed the sin of adultery. But that did not make her unfaithful sister afraid. Judah was not afraid. She also went out and acted like a prostitute.
