पण लोकसंख्येचा दहावा हिस्सा ह्या भूमीवर राहतील. त्यांचा नाश होणार होता तरीही ते परमेश्वराकडे परत येतील. हे लोक एलाच्या झाडाप्रमाणे असतील. एलाचे झाड कापले तरी बुडखा शिल्लक राहतोच. हे राहिलेले लोक त्या बुडख्याप्रमाणे असतील. हे लोक खास बीज म्हणजेच देवाची लाडकी लेकरे असतील.

But yet in it [shall be] a tenth, and [it] shall return, and shall be eaten: as a teil tree, and as an oak, whose substance is in them, when they cast [their leaves: so] the holy seed [shall be] the substance thereof.
