ਤਦ ਉਹ ਆਦਮੀ ਦੇ ਬਾਲਣ ਲਈ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਉਹ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਆਪ ਨੂੰ ਸੇਕਦਾ ਹੈ, ਸਗੋਂ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਬਾਲ ਕੇ ਰੋਟੀ ਪਕਾਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਹਾਂ, ਉਹ ਇੱਕ ਠਾਕਰ ਬਣਾਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਅਤੇ ਓਹ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਮੱਥਾ ਟੇਕਦੇ ਹਨ! ਓਹ ਬੁੱਤ ਬਣਾਉਂਦੇ ਹਨ, ਅਤੇ ਓਹ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਅੱਗੇ ਮੱਥੇ ਰਗੜਦੇ ਹਨ!

Then shall it be for a man to burn: for he will take thereof, and warm himself; yea, he kindleth [it,] and baketh bread; yea, he maketh a god, and worshippeth [it;] he maketh it a graven image, and falleth down thereto.

When the man wanted a fire, he took some of the wood to keep him warm. He also used some of it to bake his bread. But then he used that same wood to make a statue to worship as a god! That god is only a statue that he made, but he bows down to it!
