ಈ ಒಡಂಬಡಿಕೆಯು ನಾನು ಇವರ ಪಿತೃಗಳನ್ನು ಕೈಹಿಡಿದು ಐಗುಪ್ತದೇಶ ದೊಳಗಿಂದ ಕರಕೊಂಡು ಬಂದ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರ ಸಂಗಡ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡ ಒಡಂಬಡಿಕೆಯಂಥದಲ್ಲ; ಅವರು ನನ್ನ ಒಡಂಬಡಿಕೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ಥಿರವಾಗಿ ನಿಲ್ಲಲಿಲ್ಲವಾ ದದರಿಂದ ನಾನು ಅವರನ್ನು ಲಕ್ಷ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ತರಲಿಲ್ಲ ಎಂದು ಕರ್ತನು ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾನೆ.

Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day when I took them by the hand to lead them out of the land of Egypt; because they continued not in my covenant, and I regarded them not, saith the Lord.
