ನಂಬಿಕೆಯಿಂದಲೇ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್ಯರು ಒಣ ಭೂಮಿಯನ್ನು ದಾಟುವಂತೆ ಕೆಂಪು ಸಮುದ್ರವನ್ನು ದಾಟಿದರು; ಐಗುಪ್ತ ದೇಶದವರು ಅದನ್ನು ದಾಟು ವದಕ್ಕೆ ಪ್ರಯತ್ನಿಸಿ ಮುಳುಗಿಹೋದರು.
