ಅದಕ್ಕವರು--ನಿನ್ನ ದಾಸರಾದ ನಾವು ಹನ್ನೆರಡು ಮಂದಿ ಸಹೋದರರು; ನಾವು ಕಾನಾನ್ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಒಬ್ಬ ಮನುಷ್ಯನ ಮಕ್ಕಳು. ಇಗೋ, ಈಗ ಚಿಕ್ಕವನು ನಮ್ಮ ತಂದೆಯೊಂದಿಗೆ ಇದ್ದಾನೆ. ಮತ್ತೊಬ್ಬನು ಇಲ್ಲ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದರು.

And they said, Thy servants [are] twelve brethren, the sons of one man in the land of Canaan; and, behold, the youngest [is] this day with our father, and one [is] not.
