তারপর আমি হাতের মত কিছু একটা দেখলাম| সেই হাত বেরিয়ে এসে আমার মাথার চুল টেনে আমায় ধরল| তারপর বাতাস আমায় শূন্যে তুলে নিল এবং তিনি আমাকে জেরুশালেমে ঈশ্বরীয দর্শনে নিয়ে গেলেন| তিনি আমাকে অভ্য়ন্তরের ফটক, অর্থাত্ উত্তর দিকের ফটকের কাছে নিয়ে গেলেন| যে মূর্ত্তি ঈশ্বরকে ঈর্ষান্বিত করে তা সেই ফটকে রয়েছে|

And he put forth the form of an hand, and took me by a lock of mine head; and the spirit lifted me up between the earth and the heaven, and brought me in the visions of God to Jerusalem, to the door of the inner gate that looketh toward the north; where [was] the seat of the image of jealousy, which provoketh to jealousy.

Then I saw something that looked like an arm. The arm reached out and grabbed me by the hair on my head. Then the Spirit lifted me into the air, and in God's vision, he took me to Jerusalem. He took me to the inner gate—the gate that is on the north side. The statue that makes God jealous is by that gate.
