ಆದದರಿಂದ ದೇವರಾದ ಕರ್ತನು ಹೀಗೆ ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾನೆ--ನಾನೂ ನನ್ನ ಕೈಯನ್ನು ಎದೋಮಿನ ಮೇಲೆ ಚಾಚುತ್ತೇನೆ, ಅದರೊಳಗಿನಿಂದ ಮನುಷ್ಯರನ್ನೂ ಮೃಗಗಳನ್ನೂ ಕಡಿದುಬಿಡುತ್ತೇನೆ, ತೇಮಾನು ಮೊದಲುಗೊಂಡು ಅದನ್ನು ಕಾಡನ್ನಾಗಿ ಮಾಡುತ್ತೇನೆ; ದೆದಾನಿಯವರು ಕತ್ತಿಯಿಂದ ಬೀಳು ವರು.

Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; I will also stretch out mine hand upon Edom, and will cut off man and beast from it; and I will make it desolate from Teman; and they of Dedan shall fall by the sword.
