ನಿನ್ನ ಜನನವನ್ನು ಕುರಿತು ನೀನು ಹುಟ್ಟಿದ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿ ನಿನ್ನ ಹೊಕ್ಕಳು ಕತ್ತರಿಸ ಲ್ಪಡಲಿಲ್ಲ; ಶುದ್ಧವಾಗುವ ಹಾಗೆ ನೀರಿನಿಂದ ತೊಳೆ ಯಲ್ಪಡಲಿಲ್ಲ, ನಿನಗೆ ಉಪ್ಪು ಹಾಕಲಿಲ್ಲ, ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಬಟ್ಟೆಯಿಂದ ಸುತ್ತಲಿಲ್ಲ.

And [as for] thy nativity, in the day thou wast born thy navel was not cut, neither wast thou washed in water to supple [thee;] thou wast not salted at all, nor swaddled at all.
