ਜਾਂ ਇਬਰਾਨਣਾਂ ਲਈ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਦਾਈ ਪੁਣਾ ਕਰਦੀਆਂ ਹੋ ਅਰ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਜਣਾਉਣ ਦੇ ਪੀੜ੍ਹੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਵੇਖਦੀਆਂ ਹੋ ਤਾਂ ਜੇ ਕਰ ਉਹ ਪੁੱਤ੍ਰ ਹੋਵੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਰ ਸੁੱਟੋ ਪਰ ਜੇ ਕਰ ਧੀ ਹੋਵੇ ਤਾਂ ਉਹ ਜੀਉਂਦੀ ਰਹੇ

And he said, When ye do the office of a midwife to the Hebrew women, and see [them] upon the stools; if it [be] a son, then ye shall kill him: but if it [be] a daughter, then she shall live.
