ਜਦ ਰਾਜੇ ਨੇ ਏਹ ਗੱਲ ਸੁਣੀ ਤਦ ਆਪਣੇ ਆਪ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੱਡਾ ਛਿੱਥਾ ਹੋਇਆ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਮਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਚਾਹਿਆ ਭਈ ਦਾਨੀਏਲ ਨੂੰ ਛੁਡਾਵੇ ਅਤੇ ਸੂਰਜ ਦੇ ਅਸਤਣ ਤੀਕ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਛੁਡਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਜਤਨ ਕਰਦਾ ਰਿਹਾ

Then the king, when he heard [these] words, was sore displeased with himself, and set [his] heart on Daniel to deliver him: and he laboured till the going down of the sun to deliver him.
