ನಾವೆಲ್ಲರೂ ನೆಲಕ್ಕೆ ಬಿದ್ದಾಗ--ಸೌಲನೇ, ಸೌಲನೇ, ಯಾಕೆ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ನೀನು ಹಿಂಸಿಸುತ್ತೀ, ಮುಳ್ಳು ಗೋಲನ್ನು ಒದೆಯುವದು ನಿನಗೆ ಕಷ್ಟ ಎಂದು ನನ್ನೊಂದಿಗೆ ಇಬ್ರಿಯ ಭಾಷೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದ ಒಂದು ಧ್ವನಿಯನ್ನು ನಾನು ಕೇಳಿದೆನು.

And when we were all fallen to the earth, I heard a voice speaking unto me, and saying in the Hebrew tongue, {SCJ}Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou me? [it is] hard for thee to kick against the pricks. {SCJ.}
