KNV ಆದರೆ ನೀನು ಅವರಿಗೆ ಒಪ್ಪಬೇಡ; ಅವನನ್ನು ಕೊಲ್ಲುವ ತನಕ ಅನ್ನಪಾನಗಳನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳುವದಿಲ್ಲವೆಂದು ಶಪಥ ವನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡವರಲ್ಲಿ ನಾಲ್ವತ್ತು ಮಂದಿಗಿಂತ ಹೆಚ್ಚಾದವರು ಅವನಿಗಾಗಿ ಕಾಯುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ; ಈಗ ಅವರು ನಿನ್ನ ಮಾತಿಗಾಗಿ ಎದುರು ನೋಡುತ್ತಾ ಸಿದ್ಧವಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದ
KJV But do not thou yield unto them: for there lie in wait for him of them more than forty men, which have bound themselves with an oath, that they will neither eat nor drink till they have killed him: and now are they ready, looking for a promise from thee.
YLT thou, therefore, mayest thou not yield to them, for there lie in wait for him of them more than forty men, who did anathematize themselves -- not to eat nor to drink till they kill him, and now they are ready, waiting for the promise from thee.`
RV Do not thou therefore yield unto them: for there lie in wait for him of them more than forty men, which have bound themselves under a curse, neither to eat nor to drink till they have slain him: and now are they ready, looking for the promise from thee.
RSV But do not yield to them; for more than forty of their men lie in ambush for him, having bound themselves by an oath neither to eat nor drink till they have killed him; and now they are ready, waiting for the promise from you."

ESV But do not be persuaded by them, for more than forty of their men are lying in ambush for him, who have bound themselves by an oath neither to eat nor drink till they have killed him. And now they are ready, waiting for your consent."
ERVEN But don't believe them! More than 40 of them are hiding and waiting to kill him. They have all promised not to eat or drink until they have killed him. Now they are waiting for you to say yes."
