ਤਦ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੇ ਐਉਂ ਆਖਿਆ, ਵੇਖੋ ਮੈਂ ਯਰੂਸ਼ਲਮ ਅਰ ਯਹੂਦਾਹ ਉੱਤੇ ਬੁਰਿਆਈ ਲਿਆਉਂਦਾ ਹਾਂ ਜਿਹ ਦੇ ਕਾਰਨ ਸੁਣਨ ਵਾਲੇ ਦੇ ਦੋਨੋਂ ਕੰਨ ਵੱਜ ਪੈਣਗੇ

Therefore thus saith the LORD God of Israel, Behold, I [am] bringing [such] evil upon Jerusalem and Judah, that whosoever heareth of it, both his ears shall tingle.
