ಮೂರನೆಯ ದಿನ ಒಬ್ಬ ಯುವ ಸೈನಿಕನು ಚಿಕ್ಲಗಿಗೆ ಬಂದನು. ಈ ಮನುಷ್ಯನು ಸೌಲನಿದ್ದ ಪಾಳೆಯದಿಂದ ಬಂದವನು. ಅವನು ಬಟ್ಟೆಗಳೆಲ್ಲವನ್ನು ಹರಿದುಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದನು; ತಲೆಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಧೂಳನ್ನು ಹಾಕಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದನು. ಅವನು ದಾವೀದನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಬಂದು ಅವನ ಮುಂದೆ, ತನ್ನ ತಲೆಯನ್ನು ನೆಲಕ್ಕೆ ಬಾಗಿಸಿ ನಮಸ್ಕರಿಸಿದನು.
