आता मात्र मी निर्धाराने सांगतो की, देवाने भाकित केल्याप्रमाणे सर्व घडेल. शौलाच्या घराण्याकडून राज्य काढून घेऊन ते दावीदाकडे सोपवण्याचे भाकित परमेश्वराने केले आहे. परमेश्वर दावीदाला इस्राएल आणि यहूदा यांचा राजा करणार आहे. दानपासून बैर-शेब्यापर्यंत त्याचे राज्य असेल. माझ्या हातून आता हे सर्व प्रत्यक्षात आले नाही तर देव खुशाल माझे वाईट करो.”

So do God to Abner, and more also, except, as the LORD hath sworn to David, even so I do to him;
