ಎಲೀಯನು ಅಹಜ್ಯನಿಗೆ, “ಇಸ್ರೇಲಿನಲ್ಲಿ ದೇವರಿದ್ದಾನೆ. ಹೀಗಿರುವಾಗ ನೀನು ಎಕ್ರೋನಿನ ದೇವರಾದ ಬಾಳ್ಜೆಬೂಬನನ್ನು ಪ್ರಶ್ನೆಗಳನ್ನು ಕೇಳಲು ಸಂದೇಶಕರನ್ನು ಏಕೆ ಕಳುಹಿಸಿದೆ? ನೀನು ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯವನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿದ್ದರಿಂದ ನಿನ್ನ ಹಾಸಿಗೆಯಿಂದ ನೀನು ಮೇಲಕ್ಕೇಳುವುದಿಲ್ಲ. ನೀನು ಅಲ್ಲೇ ಸಾಯುವೆ! ಎಂಬುದಾಗಿ ಯೆಹೋವನು ಅನ್ನತ್ತಾನೆ.” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು.
