ರಾಜನಾದ ಬೆನ್ಹದದನು ಇತರ ಅರಸರೊಡನೆ ಅವನ ಗುಡಾರದಲ್ಲಿ ಕುಡಿಯುತ್ತಾ ಮತ್ತೇರಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಿದ್ದನು. ಆ ಸಮಯದಲ್ಲಿ ರಾಜನಾದ ಅಹಾಬನಿಂದ ಬಂದ ಸಂದೇಶವನ್ನು ಸಂದೇಶಕರು ಅವನಿಗೆ ಹೇಳಿದರು. ರಾಜನಾದ ಬೆನ್ಹದದನು ಆ ನಗರಕ್ಕೆ ಮುತ್ತಿಗೆ ಹಾಕಲು ಸಿದ್ಧರಾಗುವಂತೆ ತನ್ನ ಜನರಿಗೆ ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸಿದನು. ಆದುದರಿಂದ ಜನರು ಯುದ್ಧಮಾಡಲು ತಮ್ಮತಮ್ಮ ಸ್ಥಳಗಳಿಗೆ ಹೋದರು.
