ਹਰ ਕੋਈ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਤੋਂ ਜੰਮਿਆ ਹੈ ਪਾਪ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰਦਾ ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਉਹ ਦਾ ਬੀ ਓਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਪਾਪ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰ ਸੱਕਦਾ ਇਸ ਲਈ ਜੋ ਉਹ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਤੋਂ ਜੰਮਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ

Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.
