য়ে সব দাসের মনিব বিশ্বাসী, তারা পরস্পর ভাই৷ তাই বলে দাসেরা সম্মানের দিক দিয়ে মনিব ভাইদের কোনভাবে তুচ্ছ না করুক, এবং সেইসব দাসেরা তাদের মনিবদের আরো ভাল করে সেবা করুক, কারণ যাঁরা উপকার পাচ্ছে তারাও বিশ্বাসী৷তুমি লোকদের এইসব অবশ্য শেখাবে ও সেই অনুসারে কাজ করতে উত্সাহ দেবে৷

And they that have believing masters, let them not despise [them,] because they are brethren; but rather do [them] service, because they are faithful and beloved, partakers of the benefit. These things teach and exhort.
