فلسطینیوں نے طئے کیا کہ اس خطّے میں رہنے والے اسرائیلیوں کو سزا دیں اس لئے ان کے بہترین سپا ہیوں نے حملہ شروع کیا ۔ فلسطینی فوج تین گروہوں میں بٹ گئی ۔ ایک گروہ عُفرہ کی سڑک پر سعال کے قریب شمال کو گیا ۔
