BNV : বৈত্‌লেহমে এক জন ধনী বাস করত| তার নাম বোয়স| ইলীমেলক পরিবারের অন্তর্গত নয়মীর ঘনিষ্ঠ আত্মীয়স্বজনদের মধ্যে বোয়স ছিল এক জন|
KJV : And Naomi had a kinsman of her husband’s, a mighty man of wealth, of the family of Elimelech; and his name [was] Boaz.
YLT : And Naomi hath an acquaintance of her husband`s, a man mighty in wealth, of the family of Elimelech, and his name [is] Boaz.
RV : And Naomi had a kinsman of her husband-s, a mighty man of wealth, of the family of Elimelech; and his name was Boaz.
RSV : Now Naomi had a kinsman of her husband's, a man of wealth, of the family of Elimelech, whose name was Boaz.

ERVEN : There was a rich man named Boaz living in Bethlehem. Boaz was one of Naomi's close relatives from Elimelech's family.

BNV : এক দিন রূত্‌ নয়মীকে বলল, “আমি ভাবছি, মাঠে মাঠে একটু ঘুরে বেড়াই| এমনি করেই হয়তো এক দিন এমন কাউকে পাব য়ে আমায় দয়া করবে, য়ে আমায় মাঠের পড়ে থাকা শস্যের দানা তুলে নিতে বলবে|”
KJV : And Ruth the Moabitess said unto Naomi, Let me now go to the field, and glean ears of corn after [him] in whose sight I shall find grace. And she said unto her, Go, my daughter.
YLT : And Ruth the Moabitess saith unto Naomi, `Let me go, I pray thee, into the field, and I gather among the ears of corn after him in whose eyes I find grace;` and she saith to her, `Go, my daughter.`
RV : And Ruth the Moabitess said unto Naomi, Let me now go to the field, and glean among the ears of corn after him in whose sight I shall find grace. And she said unto her, Go, my daughter.
RSV : And Ruth the Moabitess said to Naomi, "Let me go to the field, and glean among the ears of grain after him in whose sight I shall find favor." And she said to her, "Go, my daughter."
ASV : And Ruth the Moabitess said unto Naomi, Let me now go to the field, and glean among the ears of grain after him in whose sight I shall find favor. And she said unto her, Go, my daughter.
ESV : And Ruth the Moabite said to Naomi, "Let me go to the field and glean among the ears of grain after him in whose sight I shall find favor." And she said to her, "Go, my daughter."
ERVEN : One day Ruth, the Moabite, said to Naomi, "I think I will go to the fields. Maybe I can find someone who will be kind to me and let me gather the grain they leave in their field."

BNV : নয়মী বলল, “আচ্ছা বাছা, যাও|”রূত্‌ মাঠের দিকে চলে গেল| যারা সেখানে শস্য কাটছে তাদের সঙ্গে সঙ্গে ঘুরল| ক্ষেতের পড়ে থাকা শস্যগুলো সে সংগ্রহ করল|ঘটনাএমে এরকম একটা মাঠের মালিক ছিল বোয়স| বোয়স ছিল ইলীমেলক পরিবারের এক জন|
KJV : And she went, and came, and gleaned in the field after the reapers: and her hap was to light on a part of the field [belonging] unto Boaz, who [was] of the kindred of Elimelech.
YLT : And she goeth and cometh and gathereth in a field after the reapers, and her chance happeneth -- the portion of the field is Boaz`s who [is] of the family of Elimelech.
RV : And she went, and came and gleaned in the field after the reapers: and her hap was to light on the portion of the field belonging unto Boaz, who was of the family of Elimelech.
RSV : So she set forth and went and gleaned in the field after the reapers; and she happened to come to the part of the field belonging to Boaz, who was of the family of Elimelech.
ASV : And she went, and came and gleaned in the field after the reapers: and her hap was to light on the portion of the field belonging unto Boaz, who was of the family of Elimelech.
ESV : So she set out and went and gleaned in the field after the reapers, and she happened to come to the part of the field belonging to Boaz, who was of the clan of Elimelech.
ERVEN : Naomi said, "Fine, daughter, go ahead." So Ruth went to the fields. She followed the workers who were cutting the grain and gathered the grain that was left. It happened that part of the field belonged to Boaz, the man from Elimelech's family.

BNV : এক দিন বৈত্‌লেহম থেকে বোয়স তার জমিতে চলে এলো| চাষীদের সে আদর ভালবাসা জানিয়ে বলল, “প্রভু তোমাদের সহায় হোন!”চাষীরাও বলল, “প্রভু আপনার মঙ্গল করুন!”
KJV : And behold, Boaz came from Bethlehem, and said unto the reapers, The LORD [be] with you. And they answered him, The LORD bless thee.
YLT : And lo, Boaz hath come from Beth-Lehem, and saith to the reapers, `Jehovah [is] with you;` and they say to him, `Jehovah doth bless thee.`
RV : And, behold, Boaz came from Beth-lehem, and said unto the reapers, The LORD be with you. And they answered him, The LORD bless thee.
RSV : And behold, Boaz came from Bethlehem; and he said to the reapers, "The LORD be with you!" And they answered, "The LORD bless you."

ERVEN : Later, Boaz came to the field from Bethlehem and greeted his workers. He said, "The Lord be with you!" And the workers answered, "And may the Lord bless you!"

KJV : Then said Boaz unto his servant that was set over the reapers, Whose damsel [is] this?

ERVEN : Then Boaz spoke to his servant who was in charge of the workers. He asked, "Whose girl is that?"

BNV : ভৃত্যটি বলল, “মেয়েটি একজন মোয়াবী| সে নয়মীর সঙ্গে মোয়াব থেকে এসেছে|”
KJV : And the servant that was set over the reapers answered and said, It [is] the Moabitish damsel that came back with Naomi out of the country of Moab:
YLT : And the young man who is set over the reapers answereth and saith, `A young woman -- Moabitess -- she [is], who came back with Naomi from the fields of Moab,

BNV : আজ খুব ভোরবেলা সে আমার কাছে আসে অনুমতি চাইতে যাতে চাষীদের পিছু পিছু ঘুরে মাঠ থেকে সে শস্য কুড়িয়ে নিতে পারে| সেই সকাল থেকে সে এই মাঠে রযেছে| ঐ তো ওখানে তার বাড়ী|”
KJV : And she said, I pray you, let me glean and gather after the reapers among the sheaves: so she came, and hath continued even from the morning until now, that she tarried a little in the house.
YLT : and she saith, Let me glean, I pray thee -- and I have gathered among the sheaves after the reapers; and she cometh and remaineth since the morning and till now; she sat in the house a little.
RV : And she said, Let me glean, I pray you, and gather after the reapers among the sheaves: so she came, and hath continued even from the morning until now, save that she tarried a little in the house.
RSV : She said, `Pray, let me glean and gather among the sheaves after the reapers.' So she came, and she has continued from early morning until now, without resting even for a moment."
ASV : And she said, Let me glean, I pray you, and gather after the reapers among the sheaves. So she came, and hath continued even from the morning until now, save that she tarried a little in the house.
ESV : She said, 'Please let me glean and gather among the sheaves after the reapers.' So she came, and she has continued from early morning until now, except for a short rest."
ERVEN : She came early this morning and asked me if she could follow the workers and gather the grain that was left on the ground. And she has been working ever since. That is her house over there."

BNV : বোয়স তখন রূতকে বলল, “শোনো মেয়ে, তুমি এই ক্ষেতেই থেকে যাও এবং তোমার জন্য শস্য কুড়িযে নিও| অন্য কোথাও আর তোমাকে য়েতে হবে না| আমার ক্ষেতের দাসীদের সঙ্গে সঙ্গে তুমি ঘুরবে|
KJV : Then said Boaz unto Ruth, Hearest thou not, my daughter? Go not to glean in another field, neither go from hence, but abide here fast by my maidens:
YLT : And Boaz saith unto Ruth, `Hast thou not heard, my daughter? go not to glean in another field, and also, pass not over from this, and thus thou dost cleave to my young women:
RV : Then said Boaz unto Ruth, Hearest thou not, my daughter? Go not to glean in another field, neither pass from hence, but abide here fast by my maidens.
RSV : Then Boaz said to Ruth, "Now, listen, my daughter, do not go to glean in another field or leave this one, but keep close to my maidens.

ERVEN : Then Boaz said to Ruth, "Listen, child. Stay here in my field to gather grain for yourself. There is no need for you to go to any other field. Continue following behind my women workers.

BNV : কোন্ কোন্ জমিতে তারা যাচ্ছে দেখবে, তাদের সঙ্গে থাকবে| যুবকদের আমি সাবধান করে দিচ্ছি, তারা য়েন তোমায় বিরক্ত না করে| পিপাসা পেলে আমার লোকরা য়ে মগ ব্যবহার করে তুমিও তা ব্যবহার করতে পারো| বুঝলে?”
KJV : [Let] thine eyes [be] on the field that they do reap, and go thou after them: have I not charged the young men that they shall not touch thee? and when thou art athirst, go unto the vessels, and drink of [that] which the young men have drawn.
YLT : thine eyes [are] on the field which they reap, and thou hast gone after them; have not I charged the young men not to touch thee? when thou art athirst then thou hast gone unto the vessels, and hast drunk from that which the young men draw.`
RV : Let thine eyes be on the field that they do reap, and go thou after them: have I not charged the young men that they shall not touch thee? and when thou art athirst, go unto the vessels, and drink of that which the young men have drawn.
RSV : Let your eyes be upon the field which they are reaping, and go after them. Have I not charged the young men not to molest you? And when you are thirsty, go to the vessels and drink what the young men have drawn."
ASV : Let thine eyes be on the field that they do reap, and go thou after them: have I not charged the young men that they shall not touch thee? and when thou art athirst, go unto the vessels, and drink of that which the young men have drawn.
ESV : Let your eyes be on the field that they are reaping, and go after them. Have I not charged the young men not to touch you? And when you are thirsty, go to the vessels and drink what the young men have drawn."
ERVEN : Watch to see which fields they go into to cut the grain and follow them. I have warned the young men not to bother you. When you are thirsty, go and drink from the same water jug my men drink from."

BNV : রূত্‌ মাথা নীচু করে শ্রদ্ধা জানাল| সে বোয়সকে বলল, “আমার মতো এক জন সামান্য মেয়েকেও আপনি লক্ষ্য করেছেন, এতে আমি খুবই অবাক হয়ে গেছি! যদিও আমি একজন অপরিচিত কিন্তু তবুও আপনি আমার প্রতি কত সদয়|”
KJV : Then she fell on her face, and bowed herself to the ground, and said unto him, Why have I found grace in thine eyes, that thou shouldest take knowledge of me, seeing I [am] a stranger?
YLT : And she falleth on her face, and boweth herself to the earth, and saith unto him, `Wherefore have I found grace in thine eyes, to discern me, and I a stranger?`
RV : Then she fell on her face, and bowed herself to the ground, and said unto him, Why have I found grace in thy sight, that thou shouldest take knowledge of me, seeing I am a stranger?
RSV : Then she fell on her face, bowing to the ground, and said to him, "Why have I found favor in your eyes, that you should take notice of me, when I am a foreigner?"
ASV : Then she fell on her face, and bowed herself to the ground, and said unto him, Why have I found favor in thy sight, that thou shouldest take knowledge of me, seeing I am a foreigner?
ESV : Then she fell on her face, bowing to the ground, and said to him, "Why have I found favor in your eyes, that you should take notice of me, since I am a foreigner?"
ERVEN : Then Ruth bowed very low to the ground. She said to Boaz, "I am a foreigner, so I am surprised you even noticed me."

BNV : বোয়স উত্তর দিল, “তোমার শাশুড়ি নয়মীকে তুমি কি রকম সেবা করেছ আমি সবই জানি| আমি জানি তোমার স্বামী মারা গেলেও তুমি তাকে কত সাহায্য করেছ| আর আমি এও জানি মাতাপিতা, নিজের দেশ সব কিছু ছেড়ে তুমি এখানে চলে এসেছ| এদেশের কাউকেই তুমি চেন না, তা সত্ত্বেও নয়মীর সঙ্গে তুমি এদেশে এসেছ|
KJV : And Boaz answered and said unto her, It hath fully been shewed me, all that thou hast done unto thy mother in law since the death of thine husband: and [how] thou hast left thy father and thy mother, and the land of thy nativity, and art come unto a people which thou knewest not heretofore.
YLT : And Boaz answereth and saith to her, `It hath thoroughly been declared to me all that thou hast done with thy mother-in-law, after the death of thy husband, and thou dost leave thy father, and thy mother, and the land of thy birth, and dost come in unto a people which thou hast not known heretofore.
RV : And Boaz answered and said unto her, It hath fully been shewed me, all that thou hast done unto thy mother in law since the death of thine husband: and how thou hast left thy father and thy mother, and the land of thy nativity, and art come unto a people which thou knewest not heretofore.
RSV : But Boaz answered her, "All that you have done for your mother-in-law since the death of your husband has been fully told me, and how you left your father and mother and your native land and came to a people that you did not know before.

ESV : But Boaz answered her, "All that you have done for your mother-in-law since the death of your husband has been fully told to me, and how you left your father and mother and your native land and came to a people that you did not know before.
ERVEN : Boaz answered her, "I know about all the help you have given to your mother-inlaw Naomi. I know you helped her even after your husband died. And I know that you left your father and mother and your own country and came here to this country. You did not know anyone from this country, but you came here with Naomi.

BNV : তোমার সত্‌ কাজের জন্য প্রভু তোমায় পুরস্কার দেবেন| তুমি যা কিছু করেছ তার জন্য প্রভু, ইস্রায়েলের ঈশ্বর তোমাকে সম্পূর্ণ ভাবে পুরস্কৃত করবেন| তুমি সুরক্ষার জন্য তাঁর কাছে এসেছো, সুতরাং তিনি তোমাকে রক্ষা করবেন|”
KJV : The LORD recompense thy work, and a full reward be given thee of the LORD God of Israel, under whose wings thou art come to trust.
YLT : Jehovah doth recompense thy work, and thy reward is complete from Jehovah, God of Israel, under whose wings thou hast come to take refuge.`

ERVEN : The Lord will reward you for all the good things you have done. The Lord, the God of Israel, will pay you in full. You have come to him for safety, and he will protect you."

BNV : রূত্‌ বলল, “আপনি আমাকে খুবই দয়া করেছেন| আমি তো এক জন দাসী মাত্র, তাও আপনার দাসীদের মধ্যে কারও সমান নই| তবুও আপনি কত দরদের কথা বলেছেন, আমায সান্ত্বনা দিয়েছেন|”
KJV : Then she said, Let me find favour in thy sight, my lord; for that thou hast comforted me, and for that thou hast spoken friendly unto thine handmaid, though I be not like unto one of thine handmaidens.
YLT : And she saith, `Let me find grace in thine eyes, my lord, because thou hast comforted me, and because thou hast spoken unto the heart of thy maid-servant, and I -- I am not as one of thy maid-servants.`
RV : Then she said, Let me find grace in thy sight, my lord; for that thou hast comforted me, and for that thou hast spoken kindly unto thine handmaid, though I be not as one of thine handmaidens.
RSV : Then she said, "You are most gracious to me, my lord, for you have comforted me and spoken kindly to your maidservant, though I am not one of your maidservants."
ASV : Then she said, Let me find favor in thy sight, my lord, for that thou hast comforted me, and for that thou hast spoken kindly unto thy handmaid, though I be not as one of thy handmaidens.
ESV : Then she said, "I have found favor in your eyes, my lord, for you have comforted me and spoken kindly to your servant, though I am not one of your servants."
ERVEN : Then Ruth said, "You are very kind to me, sir. I am only a servant. I am not even equal to one of your servants, but you have said kind words to me and comforted me."

BNV : দুপুরের খাওয়ার সময় বোয়স রূতকে বলল, “এদিকে এসো! আমাদের রুটি থেকে তুমিও কয়েকটা খাও| সিরকায় তোমার রুটি ডুবিয়ে নাও|”রূত্‌ চাষীদের পাশে বসে গেল| বোয়স তাকে সেঁকা শস্য দিল| রূত্‌ পেট ভরে খেল| কিছু খাবার পড়ে রইলো|
KJV : And Boaz said unto her, At mealtime come thou hither, and eat of the bread, and dip thy morsel in the vinegar. And she sat beside the reapers: and he reached her parched [corn,] and she did eat, and was sufficed, and left.
YLT : And Boaz saith to her, `At meal-time come nigh hither, and thou hast eaten of the bread, and dipped thy morsel in the vinegar.` And she sitteth at the side of the reapers, and he reacheth to her roasted corn, and she eateth, and is satisfied, and leaveth.
RV : And at meal-time Boaz said unto her, Come hither, and eat of the bread, and dip thy morsel in the vinegar. And she sat beside the reapers: and they reached her parched corn, and she did eat, and was sufficed, and left thereof.
RSV : And at mealtime Boaz said to her, "Come here, and eat some bread, and dip your morsel in the wine." So she sat beside the reapers, and he passed to her parched grain; and she ate until she was satisfied, and she had some left over.
ASV : And at meal-time Boaz said unto her, Come hither, and eat of the bread, and dip thy morsel in the vinegar. And she sat beside the reapers, and they reached her parched grain, and she did eat, and was sufficed, and left thereof.
ESV : And at mealtime Boaz said to her, "Come here and eat some bread and dip your morsel in the wine." So she sat beside the reapers, and he passed to her roasted grain. And she ate until she was satisfied, and she had some left over.
ERVEN : At mealtime, Boaz told Ruth, "Come and eat some of our bread. Here, dip your bread in our vinegar." So Ruth sat down with the workers. Boaz gave her some roasted grain. Ruth ate until she was full, and there was some food left.

BNV : খাবার পর রূত্‌ আবার কাজে মেতে উঠলো|বোয়স ভৃত্যদের বলল, “শস্যের গাদার পাশ থেকেও রূতকে দানা কুড়িয়ে নিতে দিও| ওকে বাধা দিও না|
KJV : And when she was risen up to glean, Boaz commanded his young men, saying, Let her glean even among the sheaves, and reproach her not:
YLT : And she riseth to glean, and Boaz chargeth his young men, saying, `Even between the sheaves she doth glean, and ye do not cause her to blush;

BNV : কিছু দানা ভরা শীষ তার জন্যে ফেলে দিয়ে তার কাজটা বরং আরও সহজ করে দিও| হ্যাঁ তাকে শস্য কুড়োতে দিও, বাধা দিও না|”
KJV : And let fall also [some] of the handfuls of purpose for her, and leave [them,] that she may glean [them,] and rebuke her not.
YLT : and also ye do surely cast to her of the handfuls -- and have left, and she hath gleaned, and ye do not push against her.`

ESV : And she took it up and went into the city. Her mother-in-law saw what she had gleaned. She also brought out and gave her what food she had left over after being satisfied.
ERVEN : Ruth carried the grain into town to show her mother-in-law what she had gathered. She also gave her the food that was left from lunch.

KJV : And her mother in law said unto her, Where hast thou gleaned to day? and where wroughtest thou? blessed be he that did take knowledge of thee. And she shewed her mother in law with whom she had wrought, and said, The man’s name with whom I wrought to day [is] Boaz.
YLT : And her mother-in-law saith to her, `Where hast thou gleaned to-day? and where hast thou wrought? may he who is discerning thee be blessed.` And she declareth to her mother-in-law with whom she hath wrought, and saith, `The name of the man with whom I have wrought to-day [is] Boaz.`

ERVEN : Her mother-in-law asked her, "Where did you gather all this grain? Where did you work? Bless the man who noticed you." Then Ruth told her who she had worked with. She said, "The man I worked with today is a man named Boaz." Naomi told her daughter-in-law, "Lord bless him! He has continued showing his kindness to the living as well as the dead."

ERVEN : Then Ruth said, "Boaz also told me to come back and continue working. He said that I should work closely with his servants until the harvest is finished."
