TOV : பாபிலோன் ஆறுகள் அருகே நாங்கள் உட்கார்ந்து, அங்கே சீயோனை நினைத்து அழுதோம்.
KJV : By the rivers of Babylon, there we sat down, yea, we wept, when we remembered Zion.

TOV : எங்களைச் சிறைபிடித்தவர்கள் அங்கே எங்கள் பாடல்களையும், எங்களைப் பாழாக்கினவர்கள் மங்கள கீதத்தையும் விரும்பி: சீயோனின் பாட்டுகளில் சிலதை எங்களுக்குப் பாடுங்கள் என்று சொன்னார்கள்.
KJV : For there they that carried us away captive required of us a song; and they that wasted us [required of us] mirth, [saying,] Sing us [one] of the songs of Zion.
YLT : For there our captors asked us the words of a song, And our spoilers -- joy: `Sing ye to us of a song of Zion.`

TOV : எருசலேமே, நான் உன்னை மறந்தால் என் வலதுகை தன் தொழிலை மறப்பதாக.
KJV : If I forget thee, O Jerusalem, let my right hand forget [her cunning.]
YLT : If I forget thee, O Jerusalem, my right hand forgetteth!
RV : If I forget thee, O Jerusalem, let my right hand forget {cf15i her cunning}.
RSV : If I forget you, O Jerusalem, let my right hand wither!

TOV : நான் உன்னை நினையாமலும், எருசலேமை என் முக்கியமான மகிழ்ச்சியிலும் அதிகமாக எண்ணாமலும்போனால், என் நாவு என் மேல் வாயோடு ஒட்டிக்கொள்வதாக.
KJV : If I do not remember thee, let my tongue cleave to the roof of my mouth; if I prefer not Jerusalem above my chief joy.
YLT : My tongue doth cleave to my palate, If I do not remember thee, If I do not exalt Jerusalem above my chief joy.
RV : Let my tongue cleave to the roof of my mouth, if I remember thee not; if I prefer not Jerusalem above my chief joy.

TOV : கர்த்தாவே, எருசலேமின் நாளில் ஏதோமின் புத்திரரை நினையும்; அவர்கள்: அதை இடித்துப்போடுங்கள், அஸ்திபாரமட்டும் இடித்துப்போடுங்கள் என்று சொன்னார்களே.
KJV : Remember, O LORD, the children of Edom in the day of Jerusalem; who said, Rase [it,] rase [it, even] to the foundation thereof.
YLT : Remember, Jehovah, for the sons of Edom, The day of Jerusalem, Those saying, `Rase, rase to its foundation!`
RV : Remember, O LORD, against the children of Edom the day of Jerusalem; who said, Rase it, rase it, even to the foundation thereof.

ERVEN : Lord, be sure to punish the Edomites for what they did when Jerusalem was captured. They shouted, "Destroy its buildings! Pull them down to the ground!"

TOV : பாபிலோன் குமாரத்தியே, பாழாய்ப்போகிறவளே, நீ எங்களுக்குச் செய்தபடி உனக்குப் பதில் செய்கிறவன் பாக்கியவான்.
KJV : O daughter of Babylon, who art to be destroyed; happy [shall he be,] that rewardeth thee as thou hast served us.
YLT : O daughter of Babylon, O destroyed one, O the happiness of him who repayeth to thee thy deed, That thou hast done to us.
