BNV : এহূদের মৃত্যুর পর, লোকরা আবার যে সব কাজ প্রভুর বিবেচনায মন্দ তাই করলো|
KJV : And the children of Israel again did evil in the sight of the LORD, when Ehud was dead.
YLT : And the sons of Israel add to do the evil thing in the eyes of Jehovah when Ehud is dead,
RV : And the children of Israel again did that which was evil in the sight of the LORD, when Ehud was dead.
RSV : And the people of Israel again did what was evil in the sight of the LORD, after Ehud died.

BNV : তাই প্রভু কনানের রাজা যাবীনের কাছে ইস্রায়েলীয়দের পরাজিত হতে দিলেন| যাবীন হবোশত্‌ শহরে রাজত্ব করত| তার সৈন্যবাহিনীর প্রধান ছিল সীষরা| সীষরা হরোশত্‌ হাগোযিম শহরে বাস করত|
KJV : And the LORD sold them into the hand of Jabin king of Canaan, that reigned in Hazor; the captain of whose host [was] Sisera, which dwelt in Harosheth of the Gentiles.
YLT : and Jehovah selleth them into the hand of Jabin king of Canaan, who hath reigned in Hazor, and the head of his host [is] Sisera, and he is dwelling in Harosheth of the Goyim;
RV : And the LORD sold them into the hand of Jabin king of Canaan, that reigned in Hazor; the captain of whose host was Sisera, which dwelt in Harosheth of the Gentiles.

ESV : And the LORD sold them into the hand of Jabin king of Canaan, who reigned in Hazor. The commander of his army was Sisera, who lived in Harosheth-hagoyim.
ERVEN : So the Lord allowed King Jabin of Canaan to defeat the Israelites. Jabin ruled in a city named Hazor. A man named Sisera was the commander of King Jabin's army. Sisera lived in a town called Harosheth Haggoyim.

BNV : সীষরার 900 লোহার রথ ছিল| সীষরা 20 বছর ইস্রায়েলবাসীদের ওপর অত্যন্ত নিষ্ঠুর ছিল এবং সে তাদের উত্‌পীড়ন করেছিল| এর ফলে তারা সাহায্যের জন্য প্রভুর কাছে প্রার্থনা করল|
KJV : And the children of Israel cried unto the LORD: for he had nine hundred chariots of iron; and twenty years he mightily oppressed the children of Israel.
YLT : and the sons of Israel cry unto Jehovah, for he hath nine hundred chariots of iron, and he hath oppressed the sons of Israel mightily twenty years.
RV : And the children of Israel cried unto the LORD: for he had nine hundred chariots of iron; and twenty years he mightily oppressed the children of Israel.

ERVEN : Sisera had 900 iron chariots, and he was very cruel to the Israelites for 20 years. So they cried to the Lord for help.

BNV : দবোরা নামের একজন ভাববাদিনী ছিলেন| তাঁর স্বামীর নাম ছিল লপ্পীদোত| সেই দবোরা ইস্রায়েলের বিচার করতেন|
KJV : And Deborah, a prophetess, the wife of Lapidoth, she judged Israel at that time.

BNV : একদিন দবোরা খেজুর গাছের নীচে বসে ছিলেন| এই খেজুর গাছের নাম দবোরার খেজুর গাছ| ইস্রায়েলের লোকরা তাঁর কাছে এল| সীষরাকে নিয়ে কি করা যায় সে বিষযে তারা তাঁর পরামর্শ চাইল| দবোবার খেজুর গাছটি ছিল ইফ্রয়িমের পাহাড়ি অঞ্চলে রামা আর বৈথেল শহরের মাঝখানে|
KJV : And she dwelt under the palm tree of Deborah between Ramah and Bethel in mount Ephraim: and the children of Israel came up to her for judgment.
YLT : and she is dwelling under the palm-tree of Deborah, between Ramah and Beth-El, in the hill-country of Ephraim, and the sons of Israel go up unto her for judgment.

ERVEN : One day Deborah was sitting under the Palm Tree of Deborah, and the Israelites came up to her to ask what to do about Sisera. (The Palm Tree of Deborah is between the cities of Ramah and Bethel in the hill country of Ephraim.)

BNV : দবোরা বারক নামের একজন লোককে খবর পাঠালেন| তিনি তাকে দেখা করতে বললেন| বারক, অবীনোযমের পুত্র থাকে নপ্তালির কেদশ শহরে| বারক দেখা করতে এলে দবোরা তাকে বললেন, “ইস্রায়েলের প্রভু ঈশ্বর তোমাকে আজ্ঞা দিচ্ছেন; ‘নপ্তালি এবং সবূলুন পরিবারগোষ্ঠীর 10,000 লোক জোগাড় কর এবং তাদের তাবোর পর্বতে নিয়ে যাও|
KJV : And she sent and called Barak the son of Abinoam out of Kedesh-naphtali, and said unto him, Hath not the LORD God of Israel commanded, [saying,] Go and draw toward mount Tabor, and take with thee ten thousand men of the children of Naphtali and of the children of Zebulun?
YLT : And she sendeth and calleth for Barak son of Abinoam, out of Kedesh-Naphtali, and saith unto him, `Hath not Jehovah, God of Israel, commanded? go, and thou hast drawn towards mount Tabor, and hast taken with thee ten thousand men, out of the sons of Naphtali, and out of the sons of Zebulun,
RV : Ands she sent and called Barak the son of Abinoam out of Kedesh-naphtali, and said unto him, Hath not the LORD, the God of Israel, commanded, {cf15i saying}, Go and draw unto mount Tabor, and take with thee ten thousand men of the children of Naphtali and of the children of Zebulun?
RSV : She sent and summoned Barak the son of Abinoam from Kedesh in Naphtali, and said to him, "The LORD, the God of Israel, commands you, `Go, gather your men at Mount Tabor, taking ten thousand from the tribe of Naphtali and the tribe of Zebulun.
ASV : And she sent and called Barak the son of Abinoam out of Kedesh-naphtali, and said unto him, Hath not Jehovah, the God of Israel, commanded, saying, Go and draw unto mount Tabor, and take with thee ten thousand men of the children of Naphtali and of the children of Zebulun?
ESV : She sent and summoned Barak the son of Abinoam from Kedesh-naphtali and said to him, "Has not the LORD, the God of Israel, commanded you, 'Go, gather your men at Mount Tabor, taking 10,000 from the people of Naphtali and the people of Zebulun.
ERVEN : Deborah sent a message to a man named Barak and asked him to come meet with her. Barak was the son of a man named Abinoam. Barak lived in the city of Kedesh, which is in the area of Naphtali. Deborah said to Barak, "The Lord, the God of Israel, commands you: 'Go and gather 10,000 men from the tribes of Naphtali and Zebulun. Lead them to Mount Tabor.

BNV : রাজা যাবীনের সেনাপতি সীষরা যাতে তোমার কাছে আসে আমি তার ব্যবস্থা করব| আমি তাকে তার রথ আর সৈন্যদল নিয়ে কীশোন নদীর ধারে পাঠিয়ে দেব| তারপর তোমাদের কাছে সে হেরে যাবে| এ ব্যাপারে আমি হব তোমাদের সহায়|”‘
KJV : And I will draw unto thee to the river Kishon Sisera, the captain of Jabin’s army, with his chariots and his multitude; and I will deliver him into thine hand.
YLT : and I have drawn unto thee, unto the brook Kishon, Sisera, head of the host of Jabin, and his chariot, and his multitude, and have given him into thy hand.`
RV : And I will draw unto thee to the river Kishon Sisera, the captain of Jabin-s army, with his chariots and his multitude; and I will deliver him into thine hand.
RSV : And I will draw out Sisera, the general of Jabin's army, to meet you by the river Kishon with his chariots and his troops; and I will give him into your hand.'"
ASV : And I will draw unto thee, to the river Kishon, Sisera, the captain of Jabins army, with his chariots and his multitude; and I will deliver him into thy hand.
ESV : And I will draw out Sisera, the general of Jabin's army, to meet you by the river Kishon with his chariots and his troops, and I will give him into your hand'?"
ERVEN : I will make Sisera, the commander of King Jabin's army, come to you. I will make Sisera, his chariots, and his army come to the Kishon River. I will help you defeat Sisera there.'"

BNV : বারক দবোরাকে বলল, “আপনি আমার সঙ্গে গেলে যাব, যা বলবেন করব| কিন্তু আপনি না গেলে আমিও যাবো না|”
KJV : And Barak said unto her, If thou wilt go with me, then I will go: but if thou wilt not go with me, [then] I will not go.
YLT : And Barak saith unto her, `If thou dost go with me, then I have gone; and if thou dost not go with me, I do not go;`
RV : And Barak said unto her, If thou wilt go with me, then I will go: but if thou wilt not go with me, I will not go.
RSV : Barak said to her, "If you will go with me, I will go; but if you will not go with me, I will not go."

ERVEN : Then Barak said to Deborah, "I will go and do this if you will go with me. But if you will not go with me, I will not go."

BNV : দবোরা বললেন, “আমি নিশ্চয়ই যাব|” কিন্তু তোমার মনোভাবের জন্য সীষরাকে পরাজিত করবার সম্মান তোমার হবে না| প্রভু একজন মহিলাকেই সীষরাকে পরাজিত করবার জন্য পাঠাবেন|দবোরা বারকের সঙ্গে কেদশ শহরে গেলেন|
KJV : And she said, I will surely go with thee: notwithstanding the journey that thou takest shall not be for thine honour; for the LORD shall sell Sisera into the hand of a woman. And Deborah arose, and went with Barak to Kedesh.
YLT : and she saith, `I do certainly go with thee; only, surely thy glory is not on the way which thou art going, for into the hand of a woman doth Jehovah sell Sisera;` and Deborah riseth and goeth with Barak to Kedesh.
RV : And she said, I will surely go with thee: notwithstanding the journey that thou takest shall not be for thine honour; for the LORD shall sell Sisera into the hand of a woman. And Deborah arose, and went with Barak to Kedesh.
RSV : And she said, "I will surely go with you; nevertheless, the road on which you are going will not lead to your glory, for the LORD will sell Sisera into the hand of a woman." Then Deborah arose, and went with Barak to Kedesh.
ASV : And she said, I will surely go with thee: notwithstanding, the journey that thou takest shall not be for thine honor; for Jehovah will sell Sisera into the hand of a woman. And Deborah arose, and went with Barak to Kedesh.
ESV : And she said, "I will surely go with you. Nevertheless, the road on which you are going will not lead to your glory, for the LORD will sell Sisera into the hand of a woman." Then Deborah arose and went with Barak to Kedesh.
ERVEN : "Of course I will go with you," Deborah answered. "But because of your attitude, you will not be honored when Sisera is defeated. The Lord will allow a woman to defeat Sisera." So Deborah went with Barak to the city of Kedesh.

BNV : কেদশে বারক সবূলূন এবং নপ্তালি পরিবারগোষ্ঠীকে ডেকে 10,000 লোককে জড়ো করে তার পেছন পেছন যেতে বললেন| দবোরাও বারকের সঙ্গে গেলেন|
KJV : And Barak called Zebulun and Naphtali to Kedesh; and he went up with ten thousand men at his feet: and Deborah went up with him.
YLT : And Barak calleth Zebulun and Naphtali to Kedesh, and he goeth up -- at his feet [are] ten thousand men -- and Deborah goeth up with him.

ERVEN : At the city of Kedesh, Barak called the tribes of Zebulun and Naphtali together. He gathered 10,000 men to follow him from these tribes, and Deborah also went with him.

KJV : Now Heber the Kenite, [which was] of the children of Hobab the father in law of Moses, had severed himself from the Kenites, and pitched his tent unto the plain of Zaanaim, which [is] by Kedesh.
YLT : And Heber the Kenite hath been separated from the Kenite, from the sons of Hobab father-in-law of Moses, and he stretcheth out his tent unto the oak in Zaanaim, which [is] by Kedesh.
RV : Now Heber the Kenite had severed himself from the Kenites, even from the children of Hobab the brother in law of Moses, and had pitched his tent as far as the oak in Zaanannim, which is by Kedesh.
RSV : Now Heber the Kenite had separated from the Kenites, the descendants of Hobab the father-in-law of Moses, and had pitched his tent as far away as the oak in Zaanannim, which is near Kedesh.

ERVEN : There was a man named Heber who was from the Kenites. The Kenites were descendants of Moses' father-in-law, Hobab. Heber had left the other Kenites and had made his home by the oak tree in Zaanannim, near the city of Kedesh.

KJV : And they shewed Sisera that Barak the son of Abinoam was gone up to mount Tabor.
YLT : And they declare to Sisera that Barak son of Abinoam hath gone up to mount Tabor,
RV : And they told Sisera that Barak the son of Abinoam was gone up to mount Tabor.
RSV : When Sisera was told that Barak the son of Abinoam had gone up to Mount Tabor,

BNV : খবর শুনে সীষরা 900 লোহার রথ আর সমস্ত লোকদের নিয়ে হরোশত্‌ হাগোযিম শহর থেকে কীশোন নদীর দিকে রওনা হল|
KJV : And Sisera gathered together all his chariots, [even] nine hundred chariots of iron, and all the people that [were] with him, from Harosheth of the Gentiles unto the river of Kishon.
YLT : and Sisera calleth all his chariots, nine hundred chariots of iron, and all the people who [are] with him, from Harosheth of the Goyim, unto the brook Kishon.

ERVEN : So Sisera got together his 900 iron chariots and all the men with him, and they marched from the city of Harosheth Haggoyim to the Kishon River.

BNV : দবোরা তখন বারককে বললেন, “আজ সীষরাকে পরাজিত করবার জন্য প্রভু তোমার সহায় হবেন| প্রভু যে ইতিমধ্যেই তোমার জন্য রাস্তা ফাঁকা করে দিয়েছেন তা তুমি নিশ্চয়ই জানো|” তাই বারক 10,000 লোক নিয়ে তাবোর পর্বত থেকে নেমে এল|
KJV : And Deborah said unto Barak, Up; for this [is] the day in which the LORD hath delivered Sisera into thine hand: is not the LORD gone out before thee? So Barak went down from mount Tabor, and ten thousand men after him.
YLT : And Deborah saith unto Barak, `Rise, for this [is] the day in which Jehovah hath given Sisera into thy hand; hath not Jehovah gone out before thee?` And Barak goeth down from mount Tabor, and ten thousand men after him.
RV : And Deborah said unto Barak, Up; for this is the day in which the LORD hath delivered Sisera into thine hand: is not the LORD gone out before thee? So Barak went down from mount Tabor, and ten thousand men after him.
RSV : And Deborah said to Barak, "Up! For this is the day in which the LORD has given Sisera into your hand. Does not the LORD go out before you?" So Barak went down from Mount Tabor with ten thousand men following him.
ASV : And Deborah said unto Barak, Up; for this is the day in which Jehovah hath delivered Sisera into thy hand; is not Jehovah gone out before thee? So Barak went down from mount Tabor, and ten thousand men after him.
ESV : And Deborah said to Barak, "Up! For this is the day in which the LORD has given Sisera into your hand. Does not the LORD go out before you?" So Barak went down from Mount Tabor with 10,000 men following him.
ERVEN : Then Deborah said to Barak, "Today the Lord will help you defeat Sisera. Surely you know that the Lord has already cleared the way for you." So Barak led the 10,000 men down from Mount Tabor.

BNV : লোকজন নিয়ে বারক এবার সীষরাকে আক্রমণ করল| যুদ্ধের সময় প্রভু সীষরা আর তার রথ, লোকজন সবকিছুর মধ্যে একটা তালগোল পাকিযে দিলেন| লোকজন সব কি যে করবে বুঝতে পারছিল না| এই সুয়োগে বারক ও তার সৈন্যবাহিনী সীষরার বাহিনীকে হারিযে দিল| কিন্তু সীষরা রথ ফেলে দিয়ে পায়ে হেঁটে পালিয়ে গেল|
KJV : And the LORD discomfited Sisera, and all [his] chariots, and all [his] host, with the edge of the sword before Barak; so that Sisera lighted down off [his] chariot, and fled away on his feet.
YLT : And Jehovah destroyeth Sisera, and all the chariots, and all the camp, by the mouth of the sword, before Barak, and Sisera cometh down from off the chariot, and fleeth on his feet.
RV : And the LORD discomfited Sisera, and all his chariots, and all his host, with the edge of the sword before Barak; and Sisera lighted down from his chariot, and fled away on his feet.
RSV : And the LORD routed Sisera and all his chariots and all his army before Barak at the edge of the sword; and Sisera alighted from his chariot and fled away on foot.
ASV : And Jehovah discomfited Sisera, and all his chariots, and all his host, with the edge of the sword before Barak; and Sisera alighted from his chariot, and fled away on his feet.
ESV : And the LORD routed Sisera and all his chariots and all his army before Barak by the edge of the sword. And Sisera got down from his chariot and fled away on foot.
ERVEN : Barak and his men attacked Sisera. During the battle, the Lord confused Sisera and his army and chariots. They did not know what to do. Barak and his men defeated Sisera's army, but Sisera left his chariot and ran away on foot.

BNV : বারক যুদ্ধ চালিয়ে গেল| সে আর তার সৈন্যরা রথ আর বাহিনীকে হরোশত্‌ হাগোযিম পর্য়ন্ত তাড়িয়ে নিয়ে গেল| তারা সব লোককে তরবারি দিয়ে কেটে ফেলল| একজনও বেঁচে রইল না|
KJV : But Barak pursued after the chariots, and after the host, unto Harosheth of the Gentiles: and all the host of Sisera fell upon the edge of the sword; [and] there was not a man left.
YLT : And Barak hath pursued after the chariots and after the camp, unto Harosheth of the Goyim, and all the camp of Sisera falleth by the mouth of the sword -- there hath not been left even one.
RV : But Barak pursued after the chariots, and after the host, unto Harosheth of the Gentiles: and all the host of Sisera fell by the edge of the sword; there was not a man left.
RSV : And Barak pursued the chariots and the army to Haroshethhagoiim, and all the army of Sisera fell by the edge of the sword; not a man was left.

ERVEN : Barak continued fighting Sisera's army. He and his men chased Sisera's chariots and army all the way to Harosheth Haggoyim. They used their swords to kill all of Sisera's men. Not one of Sisera's men was left alive.

BNV : কিন্তু সীষরা পালিয়ে গেল| সে একটা তাঁবুতে এলো| সেই তাঁবুতে যাযেল নামে একজন স্ত্রীলোক বাস করত| তার স্বামীর নাম ছির হেবর| হেবর ছিল কেনীয় সম্প্রদাযের লোক| তার পরিবার হাত্‌সোরের রাজা যাবীনের সঙ্গে শান্তিতে বসবাস করত| সীষরা যাযেলের তাঁবুর দিকে ছুটে যাচ্ছিল|
KJV : Howbeit Sisera fled away on his feet to the tent of Jael the wife of Heber the Kenite: for [there was] peace between Jabin the king of Hazor and the house of Heber the Kenite.
YLT : And Sisera hath fled on his feet unto the tent of Jael wife of Heber the Kenite, for peace [is] between Jabin king of Hazor and the house of Heber the Kenite;
RV : Howbeit Sisera fled away on his feet to the tent of Jael the wife of Heber the Kenite: for there was peace between Jabin the king of Hazor and the house of Heber the Kenite.

ESV : But Sisera fled away on foot to the tent of Jael, the wife of Heber the Kenite, for there was peace between Jabin the king of Hazor and the house of Heber the Kenite.
ERVEN : But Sisera ran away to the tent where a woman named Jael lived. Jael was the wife of Heber, the Kenite. His family was at peace with King Jabin of Hazor. That is why Sisera ran to Jael's tent.

BNV : সীষরাকে ছুটে আসতে দেখে যাযেল তার তাঁবু থেকে বেরিয়ে তার সঙ্গে দেখা করলো| যাযেল সীষরাকে বলল, “আমার তাঁবুতে আসুন| কোন ভয় নেই|” সীষরা যাযেলের তাঁবুতে ঢুকলো| যাযেল একটা কম্বল দিয়ে ঢেকে দিলো|
KJV : And Jael went out to meet Sisera, and said unto him, Turn in, my lord, turn in to me; fear not. And when he had turned in unto her into the tent, she covered him with a mantle.

ERVEN : Jael saw him coming, so she went out to meet him and said, "Sir, come into my tent. Come in. Don't be afraid." So Sisera went into Jael's tent, and she covered him with a blanket.

ERVEN : But first, Sisera asked Jael for a drink of water. Jael had some milk in a bottle made from animal skin. So she gave him a drink of the milk and then covered him up.

KJV : Again he said unto her, Stand in the door of the tent, and it shall be, when any man doth come and enquire of thee, and say, Is there any man here? that thou shalt say, No.

KJV : Then Jael Heber’s wife took a nail of the tent, and took an hammer in her hand, and went softly unto him, and smote the nail into his temples, and fastened it into the ground: for he was fast asleep and weary. So he died.
YLT : And Jael wife of Heber taketh the pin of the tent, and taketh the hammer in her hand, and goeth unto him gently, and striketh the pin into his temples, and it fasteneth in the earth -- and he hath been fast asleep, and is weary -- and he dieth.

ERVEN : But Jael found a tent peg and a hammer. She quietly went to Sisera. Sisera was very tired, so he was sleeping. She put the tent peg to the side of Sisera's head and hit it with a hammer. The tent peg went through the side of his head and into the ground. Sisera died.

BNV : আর ঠিক তখনই বারক সীষরার খোঁজে যাযেলের তাঁবুর কাছে এলো| যাযেল তাঁবুর বাইরে বেরিয়ে বারককে বলল, “ভেতরে আসুন| যাকে খুঁজছেন তাকে দেখাচ্ছি|” বারক যাযেলের সঙ্গে ভেতরে এল| দেখল সীষরা মরে মাটিতে পড়ে আছে| তার মাথার ভেতর গোঁজ ঢুকে আছে|
KJV : And, behold, as Barak pursued Sisera, Jael came out to meet him, and said unto him, Come, and I will shew thee the man whom thou seekest. And when he came into her [tent,] behold, Sisera lay dead, and the nail [was] in his temples.

ERVEN : Just then Barak came by Jael's tent, looking for Sisera. Jael went out to meet Barak and said, "Come in here, and I will show you the man you are looking for." So Barak entered the tent with Jael. There Barak found Sisera lying dead on the ground, with the tent peg through the side of his head.

KJV : And the hand of the children of Israel prospered, and prevailed against Jabin the king of Canaan, until they had destroyed Jabin king of Canaan.
