URV : تب یُوناہ نے مچھلی کے پیٹ میں خُداوند اپنے خُدا سے یہ دُعا کی۔
KJV : Then Jonah prayed unto the LORD his God out of the fish’s belly,
YLT : And Jonah prayeth unto Jehovah his God from the bowels of the fish.
RV : Then Jonah prayed unto the LORD his God out of the fish-s belly.
RSV : Then Jonah prayed to the LORD his God from the belly of the fish,
ASV : Then Jonah prayed unto Jehovah his God out of the fishs belly.
ESV : Then Jonah prayed to the LORD his God from the belly of the fish,
ERVEN : While Jonah was in the stomach of the fish, he prayed to the Lord his God. He said,

URV : میں نے اپنی مُصیبت میں خُداوند سے دُعا کی اور اُس نے میری سُنی۔میں نے پاتال کی تہ سے دُہائی دی۔ تونے میری فریاد سُنی۔
KJV : And said, I cried by reason of mine affliction unto the LORD, and he heard me; out of the belly of hell cried I, [and] thou heardest my voice.
YLT : And he saith: I called, because of my distress, to Jehovah, And He doth answer me, From the belly of sheol I have cried, Thou hast heard my voice.
RV : And he said, I called by reason of mine affliction unto the LORD, and he answered me; out of the belly of hell cried I, {cf15i and} thou heardest my voice.
RSV : saying, "I called to the LORD, out of my distress, and he answered me; out of the belly of Sheol I cried, and thou didst hear my voice.
ASV : And he said, I called by reason of mine affliction unto Jehovah, And he answered me; Out of the belly of Sheol cried I, And thou heardest my voice.
ESV : saying, "I called out to the LORD, out of my distress, and he answered me; out of the belly of Sheol I cried, and you heard my voice.
ERVEN : "I was in very bad trouble. I called to the Lord for help, and he answered me. I was deep in the grave. I cried to you, Lord, and you heard my voice.

URV : تونے مُجھے گہرے سمندر کی تہ میں پھینک دیا اور سیلاب نے مُجھے گھیر لیا۔تیری سب موجیں اور لہریں مُجھ پر سے گُزر گیئیں۔
KJV : For thou hadst cast me into the deep, in the midst of the seas; and the floods compassed me about: all thy billows and thy waves passed over me.
YLT : When Thou dost cast me [into] the deep, Into the heart of the seas, Then the flood doth compass me, All Thy breakers and Thy billows have passed over me.
RV : For thou didst cast me into the depth, in the heart of the seas, and the flood was round about me; all thy waves and thy billows passed over me.
RSV : For thou didst cast me into the deep, into the heart of the seas, and the flood was round about me; all thy waves and thy billows passed over me.
ASV : For thou didst cast me into the depth, in the heart of the seas, And the flood was round about me; All thy waves and thy billows passed over me.
ESV : For you cast me into the deep, into the heart of the seas, and the flood surrounded me; all your waves and your billows passed over me.
ERVEN : "You threw me into the sea. Your powerful waves splashed over me. I went down, down into the deep sea. The water was all around me.

URV : اور میں نے سمجھا کہ تیرے حُضور سے دُور ہو گیا ہُوں لیکن میں پھر تیری مُقدس ہیکل کو دیکھوں گا۔
KJV : Then I said, I am cast out of thy sight; yet I will look again toward thy holy temple.
YLT : And I -- I said: I have been cast out from before Thine eyes, (Yet I add to look unto Thy holy temple!)
RV : And I said, am cast out from before thine eyes; yet I will look again toward thy holy temple.
RSV : Then I said, `I am cast out from thy presence; how shall I again look upon thy holy temple?'
ASV : And I said, I am cast out from before thine eyes; Yet I will look again toward thy holy temple.
ESV : Then I said, 'I am driven away from your sight; Yet I shall again look upon your holy temple.'
ERVEN : Then I thought, 'Now I must go where you cannot see me,' but I continued looking to your holy Temple for help.

URV : سیلاب نے میری جان کا مُحاصرہ کیا۔سُمندر میرے چاروں طرف تھا۔ بحری نبات میرے سر پر لپٹ گئی۔
KJV : The waters compassed me about, [even] to the soul: the depth closed me round about, the weeds were wrapped about my head.
YLT : Compassed me have waters unto the soul, The deep doth compass me, The weed is bound to my head.
RV : The waters compassed me about, even to the soul; the deep was round about me; the weeds were wrapped about my head.
RSV : The waters closed in over me, the deep was round about me; weeds were wrapped about my head
ASV : The waters compassed me about, even to the soul; The deep was round about me; The weeds were wrapped about my head.
ESV : The waters closed in over me to take my life; the deep surrounded me; weeds were wrapped about my head
ERVEN : "The seawater closed over me. The water covered my mouth, and I could not breathe. I went down, down into the deep sea. Seaweed wrapped around my head.

URV : میں پہاڑوں کی تہ تک غرق ہو گیا۔زمین کے اڑبنگے ہمیشہ کے لے مُجھ پر بند ہوگئے۔تو بھی اے خُداوند میرے خُدا تو نے میری جان پاتال سے بچائی۔
KJV : I went down to the bottoms of the mountains; the earth with her bars [was] about me for ever: yet hast thou brought up my life from corruption, O LORD my God.
YLT : To the cuttings of mountains I have come down, The earth, her bars [are] behind me to the age. And Thou bringest up from the pit my life, O Jehovah my God.
RV : I went down to the bottoms of the mountains; the earth with her bars {cf15i closed} upon me for ever: yet hast thou brought up my life from the pit, O LORD my God.
RSV : at the roots of the mountains. I went down to the land whose bars closed upon me for ever; yet thou didst bring up my life from the Pit, O LORD my God.
ASV : I went down to the bottoms of the mountains; The earth with its bars closed upon me for ever: Yet hast thou brought up my life from the pit, O Jehovah my God.
ESV : at the roots of the mountains. I went down to the land whose bars closed upon me forever; yet you brought up my life from the pit, O LORD my God.
ERVEN : I was at the bottom of the sea, the place where mountains begin. I thought I was locked in this prison forever, but the Lord my God took me out of my grave. God, you gave me life again!

URV : جب میرا دل بے تاب ہُوا تو میں نے خُداوند کو یاد کیا اور میری دُعا تیری مُقدس ہیکل میں تیرےحُضور پُہنچی۔
KJV : When my soul fainted within me I remembered the LORD: and my prayer came in unto thee, into thine holy temple.
YLT : In the feebleness within me of my soul Jehovah I have remembered, And come in unto Thee doth my prayer, Unto Thy holy temple.
RV : When my soul fainted within me, I remembered the LORD: and my prayer came in unto thee, into thine holy temple.
RSV : When my soul fainted within me, I remembered the LORD; and my prayer came to thee, into thy holy temple.

ERVEN : "My soul gave up all hope, but then I remembered the Lord. I prayed to you, and you heard my prayers in your holy Temple.

URV : جو لوگ جھوٹے معبُودوں کو مانتے ہیں وہ شفقت سے محروُم ہو جاتے ہیں۔
KJV : They that observe lying vanities forsake their own mercy.
YLT : Those observing lying vanities their own mercy forsake.
RV : They that regard lying vanities forsake their own mercy.
RSV : Those who pay regard to vain idols forsake their true loyalty.
ASV : They that regard lying vanities Forsake their own mercy.
ESV : Those who pay regard to vain idols forsake their hope of steadfast love.
ERVEN : "Some people worship useless idols, but those statues never help them.

URV : میں حمد کرتا ہُوا تیرے حُضور قربانی گُزرانوں گا۔
KJV : But I will sacrifice unto thee with the voice of thanksgiving; I will pay [that] that I have vowed. Salvation [is] of the LORD.
YLT : And I -- with a voice of thanksgiving -- I sacrifice to Thee, That which I have vowed I complete, Salvation [is] of Jehovah.
RV : But I will sacrifice unto thee with the voice of thanksgiving; I will pay that which I have vowed. Salvation is of the LORD.
RSV : But I with the voice of thanksgiving will sacrifice to thee; what I have vowed I will pay. Deliverance belongs to the LORD!"
ASV : But I will sacrifice unto thee with the voice of thanksgiving; I will pay that which I have vowed. Salvation is of Jehovah.
ESV : But I with the voice of thanksgiving will sacrifice to you; what I have vowed I will pay. Salvation belongs to the LORD!"
ERVEN : I will give sacrifices to you, and I will praise and thank you. I will make special promises to you, and I will do what I promise." Salvation only comes from the Lord!

KJV : And the LORD spake unto the fish, and it vomited out Jonah upon the dry [land.]
YLT : And Jehovah saith to the fish, and it vomiteth out Jonah on the dry land.
RV : And the LORD spake unto the fish, and it vomited out Jonah upon the dry land.
RSV : And the LORD spoke to the fish, and it vomited out Jonah upon the dry land.
